System Specs: AMD Ryzen 7 2700X 32GB DDR4 PC3000 RAM Nvidia Geforce GTX980 GPU Gigabyte X370 motherboard Samsung 850EVO SSD for Premiere Pro Install Files and mogrts Windows 10 Home (Current Build) Premiere 13.0.3 (Build 9) The mogrt I'm currently having trouble with the most is "Outlined Callouts" FILE #: 177312873 On Adobe Stock. Though I've had problems with some of my other ones as well (from other Authors). How would I go about re-exporting a mogrt from After Effects? I am not seeing how one goes about this. I'm a major newb when it comes to AE and have never used it to create my own Motion Graphics stuff. Expression-Universalizer seems to be a plugin add-on. I purchased these templates FROM Adobe for the express reason that I assume buying them from Adobe would be a more reliable option than some random third-party seller. I've used this one mogrt for well over a year and only suddenly had an issue in the past few months. It suddenly worked for a few weeks, now it is back to not working again.

Premiere Pro keeps "Corrupting" my Motion Graphics templates and has basically made that function completely unusable for me. Whether it be the stock templates that come with Premiere Pro, or the handful of templates I BOUGHT from Adobe Stock, when I drag them onto my timeline I get a "Motion Graphics Template is Corrupt" error message. I've tried deleting the templates from Premiere. I've tried re-downloading them fresh from Adobe Stock. I've tried Reinstalling Premiere. I've tried wiping every trace of Premiere out on my computer and fresh installing. All of these things have failed. MAYBE I could get Templates to work again for a few projects and forget the problem, but suddenly I'd drag one on and it would start all over. Some of my templates don't give me the error but also don't do anything. If I go to their "edit" tab, it is blank and has zero information or effects. It seems like sometime in the last few updates Motion Graphics Templates have become broken and it is infuriating. Especially when I've paid good money for templates ($20 a pop usually) TO ADOBE and they are not working. I cannot be the only one facing this, am I?

Yea, this has been happening to me too. Before that the tool bars from the Legacy Title page disappeared and I had to re-add them every time I opened a new Legacy Title, it was infuriating. Seems to be a thing since 2019 launched.

I just uninstalled again, manually scrubbed EVERY Premiere Pro folder I could find across my drive, and reinstalled. Again all my settings came right back when I installed again (Next time I'll find the scrubber tool.) BUT suddenly the Templates are working. No rhyme or reason, they just suddenly work. I don't even know where the heck they are installed now, but here I am.

Sigh. I uninstalled Premiere. Went into "Documents - Adobe" and deleted everything associated with Premiere Pro. Then I reinstalled Premiere. When I loaded it up, the Motion Graphics Templates were all still there! And all of my preferences were still all set the same as before. Despite me clicking "Delete Preferences" when I uninstalled AND manually deleting files. Is this some cloud sync thing?

Ok, I closed Premiere, deleted all the offending .mogrt files, and reopened Premiere. The thumbnails are still in Premiere and still not doing a damn thing. Search for the .mogrt files and they are nowhere to be found on my drive.

Just like the title says, how the heck do I delete Essential Graphics Templates? A week or so ago ALL of my Essential Graphics templates quit working (Ones that come with Premiere, One I bought from Adobe Stock, and a handful from a third party company.). So I uninstalled Premiere and reinstalled it. That fixed the ones that come with Premiere and the one I have from Adobe Stock, however the third party ones still do not work. So I'm trying to delete them and I simply cannot do it. As soon as I reinstalled Premiere they were already sitting there in the Essential Graphics tab. I specifically chose "Do Not Save My Preferences" when I uninstalled Premiere but when I reinstalled it, all of my preferences and settings were exactly the same as before. Now if I click one of the non-working templates and right click, Delete is greyed out. So if I just click the 'Delete' keyboard button I'm prompted "Are you sure you want to delete?" I click yes, and nothing happens. The Template is still there and still non-functional. If I try to fresh install the templates, they install second versions of them but they still do not work. The parameters of these templates are completely blank. It is like they are blank slates that never did anything to begin with. However all of their previews still function and appear as they should, so clearly there is data there Premiere just isn't picking up. I used these templates for a few weeks before they just suddenly quit working last week. Here is a shot of the templates with zero info:

He has a Radeon graphics processor so CUDA acceleration isn't a factor here. OpenCL maybe, but no CUDA. Definitely need to know what type of footage you are working with like rodney said.

Mogrt is just the shortened version of "Motion Graphics Template"... It isn't a thing that is meant to be said, just typed out to save people typing the entire "Motion Graphics Template". So, there is no pronunciation. Or am I missing something and people are making their lives more complicated than they need to be?

I'm finishing a project and one of the last things I'm intending to do is apply some motion graphics templates. One of which I use in basically all of my videos. The last video I edited was this past Monday (12/10/18), now today 12/15/18 my motion graphics are not working. The one I used most often is a template from Adobe Stock that I downloaded probably a year ago. I've used it regularly since. Today it is saying "Motion Graphics template is corrupt." So I went to Adobe Stock and downloaded it again, placed the file in a new folder, and imported it. It noted that the file already existed and asked if I wanted to overwrite, I did. It still says it is a corrupt template. So I went to try and use other templates just to see what would happen. ALL of my other templates do not work. They are simply blank and generic with no parameters in them at all. This includes all of the Premiere Pro standard ones that come with it, as well as the ones I've downloaded and added myself from Third Parties. Here is what the parameters look like for ALL of my Motion Graphic Templates: Is there some way for me to wipe the slate clean and start over with these templates? Aside from uninstalling Premiere that is. If I have to do that I will, but I'd prefer to find another way. If I right click a template and try to hit delete, it is greyed out and does nothing. And I cannot find the templates that are installed in a folder to wipe them out there.

I'm running into this issue as well. A Motion Graphic that I regularly use is suddenly "corrupt" in Premiere 2019. This is a motion graphic template I got off of Adobe Stock, not some random website and I use it very often. It worked earlier this week in 2019, now suddenly today it just will not. I cannot seem to delete the original instance of it in Premiere to wipe it out and reinstall. I did go re-download it from Adobe Stock and imported it into Premiere. Premiere prompts me that this template is already installed and would I like to overwrite it. I overwrite it, and it still says it is corrupt when I try to use it. Anyone find a fix for this? It is really frustrating how much stuff seems to break with each update of Premiere.

I mean at $15.99 that is less than the monthly cost of JUST Premiere for the rest of us. If you really get into using Premiere Pro the other applications will come in serious handy. And if you are just trying to learn and expand your knowledge/skill base, learning the other apps even just to a minor degree is going to be valuable. Using Audition to Edit Audio, After Effects to do some minor effects work, and Photoshop to help create visual elements all comes in serious handy.

Ever since the 2019 Update I've had a problem with footage coming out of sync, but only for a few frames. It is the strangest thing. Say I have two clips overlapping a little bit. One overlaps the other one by 1- however many frames. However much the top clip overlaps, the footage comes out of sync. Like I moved the clip out of the directory and hid it from Premiere. However the entire rest of the clip is perfectly fine, it is not a cut out portion of a clip, just the portion of the same clip that overlaps the other. This most often happens AFTER I render out my timeline to run a preview. It is fine when editing, then I render it out, rewatch the footage and see the sudden few frames of Yellow screen jargon. It is easy to fix too. All I have to do is mark where the clip ends, drag the clip to be shorter, then drag it back to the exact same length it was before. When I do that suddenly the lost frames are back, AND fully rendered as if they'd never been missing. The problem is that one or two times I've not noticed this happening and Exported a completed project only to see on my post export viewing that I had dropped frames with the stupid warning. Seems to be a bug in 2019 as it has happened on both my Laptop and my Desktop at various times. Of course it doesn't happen all the time to all the clips that overlap so it is hard to say how to reproduce it.

Are you pre-rendering before playback? Lumetri REALLY bogs down 4k footage. I'm literally working on a 6 minute project right now completely edited with Lumetri, and various other effects applied. Mine is playing back smoothly, AFTER I render it all out for a preview. Your system should render pretty quickly, your specs are very similar to mine and I run at 1/2 resolution all the time. Original 4k files and Premiere just don't get along that well. Throw a couple jump cuts into the mix and playback gets stuttery, let alone lumetri. You can look into editing with Proxy files to lighten the load. I do 5-10 minute videos and have a pretty good system down of rendering out sections or full videos when they start to bog down so I've never bothered diving into proxy editing. What is the 4k footage from by the way? Codec matters. I'm just running a Panasonic with 100Mbps bit rate files so they aren't heavy duty 4k footage.

So all night I've been working on an edit and probably a dozen times now I've had an issue where my Program Monitor and Source Monitor go black. It seems to happen when I drag a new clip to the Source monitor and then the monitor window just goes black. If I hit play it stays black and I hear the audio, but no visual. Switching to "Software Only" Video Rendering brings the images right back. So I updated my graphics driver to the latest one, did a restart, and it happens still. This doesn't happen right away every time. I can be working for 10-20 minutes before it happens. Then I save my progress, close Premiere, re-open Premiere and it works fine for a little while again. I'm on Premiere 2019 13.0.1 and my Graphics card is a Nvidia GTX 980 running Geforce Drivers 416.94 on Windows 10. I get that Graphics drivers are updating all the time, but this problem only just started today for me and when it started I was still on the same Graphics drivers (399.07) that I had been for my last couple of projects (on the 13.0.1 update of Premiere).

The only setting that didn't cross from 2018 to 2019 (that I've found) was Auto-Save duration. Everything else was fine so I never double checked, until I had a full crash on a big project. Went to open an Auto-Save and found it was from 15 minutes prior. I always set auto-save timer to 5 minutes. So I had to manually change that. I'm thinking from now on I need to give everything a once over after every update.

There are hundreds upon hundreds of transition options out there, just search for "Adobe Premiere Transitions" and you will be flooded with free and pay options. Using them can sometimes be a bit complex though, so it isn't always just apply it to the end of a clip and done. What are you trying to do? The only time I have issues with transitions is if I have too much going on in a single clip. Premiere doesn't always like when you pile on effects to a clip. Say if I apply Reverse speed, then Speed Ramping with Optical Flow to a clip. I can render it out and be happy, then I may apply a random transition to it and the whole clip or just the transition can get screwy. So we may need more information. And just to take a stab at a fix, are you fairly new to Premiere? If so have you considered just uninstalling and doing a fresh install?

After Effects is professional grade software. What you are asking for is serious work and requires serious software. If you try some other softwares similar to AE you will find it isn't as User Unfriendly as it first appears. I've only scratched the surface of it myself but my work doesn't demand it much. If you aren't willing to put in the time to learn the software you'll have to pay someone else who is willing. Which you'll find out quick adds up. From my limited knowledge of After Effects you are talking about continually tracking movement points. Putting in a null object to tied to that tracking, placing your asset and tieing it to that null object so it tracks where you want it. Then frame by frame tweaking it to make sure it doesn't jitter or jump around because computer tracking is only so good. All of that and if you didn't shoot the footage with this all in mind, it may be a nightmare to do. Shooting with tracking points in your environment or making sure to get landmarks into view that can be used as tracking points is a must. Trying to track a random point in the blur of pavement or sky will result in less than professional looking stuff. Check out Film Riot, Motion Array Tutorials, Cinecom.Net, and even Peter McKinnon did an AE intro video. I didn't watch the Peter video so no idea how good it is.

So ever since the 2019 update Photoshop on my desktop and my laptop is borderline unusable. Many tools and adjustments simply do not apply, UNTIL you do something else. So say I type out text. The text doesn't appear, until I select another layer, then the text suddenly appears. Or just now I applied a Stroke effect to some text, the stroke did not actually become visible until I moved to another layer, then back to the text layer. This was happening to me a few days ago with many other actions also. Such as "Undo". I was erasing some stuff with the eraser tool (working fine), but slipped and went too far, so I hit Ctrl-Z. Nothing happened. Then I hit Ctrl-Z again, and suddenly it stepped backward twice. I had to then do a Ctrl+Shift+Z to step forward one step. So every single time I wanted to undo something, I had to undo TWICE, then Redo once. This doesn't seem to be everything, like I said the eraser tool works fine, as do paint brushes, however it is happening with a lot of different tools and elements in Photoshop.

Egg on my face, that is the problem. I work in waveform view 90% of the time as I'm just editing a single clip for cleaner audio. However I'm quite certain when I first started using the Adobe CC I was able to do this from Waveform view. Am I just miss remembering? I've only been on the Adobe software for a little over a year at this point.

So when I do my videos I load in my footage to Premiere, then I immediately choose the "Edit Clip In Audition" option for the audio. Then I edit the Audio in Audition to my liking. Currently when I'm done editing the audio, I have to Export it to a folder, then drag that new audio file into my Premiere Timeline and replace the extracted audio clip with the edited audio clip. This often leads to minor mistakes in synchronizing, or just stupid errors on my part from human error. My problem is, Why can't I just export the audio directly back to Adobe Audition? If I send a clip from Premiere to After Effects and create a composition, the clip automatically appears in Premiere as the Composition. Why in the world wouldn't that be the case with audio and Audition? And more so, the option to "Export to Premiere Pro" has been greyed out for many months now. When I very first started using the Adobe CC I was able to do this dance, then suddenly the optioned became greyed out. Now numerous updates later it still doesn't work. I've fully removed and reinstalled all of the Adobe Creative Cloud multiple times on two different computers and neither can perform this function. What gives? I just tried to export a section of the timeline to see if it was just a playback issue or a full on problem. The exported clip does not have any of the audio that should be on Tracks 2 and 3. Only Track 1 audio!

I'm SO CLOSE to finishing a project and just discovered that only audio on Track 1 is playing. I've been editing for hours and this just suddenly happened. Earlier today other Audio Tracks (2/3) WERE playing. I had muted a Audio Track 2 earlier to better hear Track 1. However I unmuted that track long ago. Tracks 2 and 3 will not play any sound right now. I deleted audio and replaced it again, no difference. The M - mute buttons on the tracks are NOT selected. I tried selecting them and unselecting them, no change. I closed and restarted Premier, no change. I updated to the latest Premiere (didn't realize I was behind), no change. Nothing is working and all I need to do is keyframe some background music to complete this project. What is going on?

Over 7 months later and this is still a massive issue. In fact is worse now. Now between EVERY audio file I have to close Adobe Audition and restart it or else the Effects Rack presets I made just clear out. Sometimes I fail to notice and wonder why the equalizing on my audio files sounds off. "Oh right Audition screwed up AGAIN." Seriously frustrating that a known bug just seems to go ignored for more than half a year.

This. The Mac you listed as "ancient" is a dual processor workstat with 8 cores vs a 4 core laptop. Also double the memory of the laptop. Also the lalptop video card is only a little bit above integrated graphics. Luckily that laptop does have Thunderbolt ports. So you could plug in a more powerful external GPU. That would vastly improve render times and export times. It may help scrubbing but that's hard to say in this case.

140mb isn't enough to edit photos let alone videos. Get yours some quality additional storage. If you are that limited on storage how out of date is the computer itself? I work in 4k so my videos are more sizable, but my standard weekly videos average between 1.5GB to 3GB.

Or should I finally bite the bullet and start transcoding my 4k footage to Proxies for my editing? I produce 2-3 short YouTube videos a week. Spending a bunch of time transcoding will add a lot of overhead(storage needs) and time to my workflow. I haven't tried it yet to decide if it is worth my time.
