Hello, For a while now (perhas a few year), that I'm unable to edit my post in Apple Safari, only in Google Chrome. Mac OS 125.7.4; Safari 17.4.1 When I click the 3 dots and then click on "Edit" nothing happens. I thought it may have to do with the popup window and although I didn't get any error mesege, I change it in Safari's prefs but no change. Any idea why? Thank you, Shlomit

As of version 25.0.2 all fonts are automatically copied to the vault and backed up to our cloud server. We automatically retain your fonts, the sets and the organisational structure of how they are grouped in our cloud so that they can be automatically recovered or replicated if you need to migrate to a new machine or recover from a technical issue. We will no longer support the leave in place option as a lot of previous customer issues were caused by fonts or folders being accidentally deleted, moved or renamed. If you wish to continue using the leave in place option you will need to remain on version 25.0.1 however you will need to be aware that there won't be any option to update plugins for future versions of Adobe CC in future. Well, what an I say. It looks to me that this decision is not about getting efficient but in order to prevent support questions from users who are changing places or deleting fonts. "Hey, Lets cancel this option so we have less support questions". I'm so disappointed and frustrated. And angry too. Shlomit

Hello Neil, First I would like to say the I never used Premier before only iMovie (on mac) as I'm not in this profession at all. I'm an InDesign instructor and I wanted to learn a bit about premier so I decided to try. I like to learn things myself and look for answers in various places. I don't know many of the terms but I know how to find things when it comes to definitions. Although I'm on version 2023, I have read your instructions very carefully as the colors in the video I took with iPhone 14 looks completely different in Premier (while it looks the same on iMovie) and I redefine everything you wrote here but I still don't get the same colors of the original video. Apart from chanaging everything as you recommended here, I didn't add any effect or made any change to the original video. As you can see in the screenshot, the video in Premier (on top) looks very different than the original (bottom). It did made it better but I not the same and I don't understand why. Perhaps this is a difficult question to answer to an inexperience user, so if it is I don't mind if you say so:) I'm just really wondering about it. Thank you, Shlomit

@makoregever Thank you but this is not a solution. This is a bug that needs to get fixed. It is missing from the menu of the Paragraph styeles options. I can find it in other place but no there so my problem is not to define it but that it is missing. 🙂

Good Morning 🙂 Sometimes it's easier to ask here than to search all over for an answer especially when the search options in adobe discussions is so poor and I always prefer to hear your thoughts about it. My favorite and so far always and forever font manager application was the discontinued FontExplorer. I moved to Extensis Suitcase Fusion even before FontExplorer was discontinued, when it started to have various problems and I didn't have time to deal with it. I never liked the way Extensis Suitcase was handling things but I could live with it. But now I can't. Now they took away the option to keep the font linked to a folder on the desktop (I always unchecked "copy to vaults" option as I hated the vault and wanted to "Reveal Font in Finder" when needed) and "forced" me to use the vault and to store on the cloud. I do believe this option should be mine to decide. I did wrote to them about it hoping other will too and that will bring this option back, but perhaps there is a better alternative, which is why I'm asking for your advice. For me, these are a must options that I would like to have in a font manger (if I didn't forget any): 1. All fonts will stay linked to a desktop folder with an option to reveal in finder, 2. Create Sets of fonts, 3. Auto activation when open any adobe application that uses fonts, 4. Ability to type a sentence and see preview, 5. Viewing font Glyphs and Info. It looks to me like "FontExpert" by Proxima could be an answer but it's not for Mac. I wonder if they will develop one for Mac too (I just wrote to them and asked). If you have any good ideas for me, please write it down, or if there is already a discussion about that from the past year and you can refer me to it, I will be happy too. I can't use the shortcuts you suggested as they are alredy assigned and I do use it which is why I used the control key. This didn't gave me an alrert that it's already in use. But it didn't work.

Hello, I have a need to hide/show panels except the toolbox which is here: Product area : Views, Navigation > Show/Hide all panels except toolbox --- Default: Shift+Tab Of course this shortcut will not work when my cursor is inside a text box so I added a shortcut when the "Text" context is selected so it will work in this way too: Text: Ctrl+Tab While doing so I made sure [unassigned] is written. I now have 2 shortcuts for this actions but the only one that works is the default one and I don't understand why. I tried to remove the first option and keep only the one I assigned but it still won't work. Attached is a screenshot of my definitions. thank you Shlomit

@Robert at ID-Tasker I already explain it but will again: I have a huge biblical text book with 1826 pages divided to 6 documents. From time to time there are corrections so I want it to get updated automatically in my smaller document. This way I can be sure not to miss any correction. It's an ongoing job since 2012. Using PDF is not efficient at all because I will need to recreate it again and again and all I want is to update and export to a new PDF. I really don't understand why you keep showing that your way is better becuase for this specific job it's not. This is a rare case that it's not worth time and money to reflow the text to a new document and the safest way. I have 40 years of experience, I know what I'm doing and why and it looks to me like you keep ignoring it. It's like you don't trust that I know what I'm sasking. Thank you Shlomit

@Robert at ID-Tasker I understant your good intentions to help me and thanking you for that, but you keep insisting on offering something don't need. I'm an InDesign and DTP instructor and know exactly what I need and why I need it and it's to place InDesign pages into a new InDesign document. I found a good script for doing that and I only wanted to write to the creator that it could get even better. 🙂 Thank you again for trying to help.

@Laubender it's ok. I have manged to create what I needed, my comments were only to the creator so maybe he will fix it for future use. I don't think I will need something like that again (but who knows) but at least I got what I needed. Thank you anyway 🙂

Hi @Robert at ID-Tasker Thank you but I perfectly know why I need to place INDD and not PDF which is why I asked this question 🙂 You are offering something that isn't useful for me but it's because I didn't explained why I need to place InDesign pages and not PDF. It's a complicated job and an ongoing one. The main Book get corrections from time to time and I want to do the corrections in one place so it will get updated in all other linked documents.. I don't want to create a new PDF every time I fix something in the source. This can only be done by placing InDesign pages and not PDF. I don't need to work on this new smaller book, Just to create it and send it to print which is why I looked for an efficient way to do it both for placing the pages and for future updates of the main document. Eventually I succeeded, but would like the first script to work better so I wouldn't need the second one. good day 🙂 Shlomit

Dear Uwe, Thank you:) I already found this script, and used it. It has some problem which I put me comments on the post where I find it. Here is my comment: One problem with the script: It knows only to do it on documents that starts with an odd page. If the the document will start with a different page number or with even page it will not work and will give this error “45” that others mentioned. I’m unable to use it when working on book file. It also couldn’t recognize the correct page that the document in the book started with. It count the pages from 1 no matter what is the page name even if i shows the correct number of the page selection part. Of course the solution is the do it outside the book file, making sure that the 1st page will be to the Right or to the Left in a Right-to-Left binding document. You can then add it to the book file. *I used in on InDesign 2023 and apart of this problem it worked fine and saved me a lot of work. My job was to place 1826 InDesign pages (divided into 6 documents) to a smaller format that has different margins. A Right-to-Left binding. I did it with a script (MultiPageImporter) that has no option to treat facing pages and was placing each page on the same place wether it was Right or Left pages. I then used this script (AdjustLayout_modified) to move all objects to the same position on my Left pages.

Dear @Mike.Edel This script is fantastic. I just download the latest version and I have a question: Is the script support a spread with opposite Left & Right margins? I am placing an InDesign documents pages to a new InDesign document with a smaller size and uneven inside and outside margins which are not proportionaly smaller to the documents original pages. I activated the script and typed a scaling value, Center left, and a negative offset for the left side. I then realized that it will not treat it different on the other page with has opposite margins. I also tried to select relative to spine but it will not place it on the right place if I need an offset. I created bleed that is marking the offset I need but I don't have an option of aligning the bleed (in a spread) I tried to think of a workaround but couldn't find any. Of course I can move the right pages to the correct place but I will have to do it page by page and I got 6 book documents with total of 1826 pages... 🙂 (My book is a right to left binding) I would like to thank you for this great script. Hello, I always save my illustrator files (with vecotr content) with the option "Create PDF Compatible File". Somewhere over the years I read that I can simply change the extension to PDF in order for the file to open in Acrobat. It always worked for me. I could then open it in Illustrator, Acrobat or place it in InDesign. Toaday I tried to change the file extesion to EPS, it worked too. I could then open the file in Illustrator, Photoshop or place it in InDesign. I'm now woder, if my IL files are saved with the compatible option, is changing the extesion is the same as "Save as" or Export? Thank you, Shlomit

Acrobat 2023.008.20470 Mac OS 12.7.2 Still missing. I can only scroll with my mouse from top to bottom. When I do that I see the Scroll bar. But I don't see the Left-Right scroll bar and can only move it with the Hand tool when pressing the space bar but I'm unable to do so when I'm in comment mode because this keyboard shorcut will not work under this mode. When I dod that I can see it for a second, then it's disappear. In short, Will you ever fix it? Thank you, Shlomit

@rob day @YES 👍🏻 🙂 I forgot to mention that it happened on the Parent pages. I know it happened in earlier versions as well but as I'm not really using the properties panel I never investigated it. Now I had to change a spine in an old covers document with 30 spreads of various covers and couldn't do that. I got so frustrated so when I found the first "solution" I decided to report it. It turned out that it's only this properties panel. Easy solution for an annoying bug. I feel great satisfaction 😁 Thank everyone for helping me 🙏

Hello everybody, I found the Problem! (I think) It's the Properties panel. When it's open, I'm unable to select a single page with the page tool. It has nothing to do with custom workspace. Can you please test it? This is how a found it: Since it happens only under my custom workspace, I have relate it to that, but after I again delete prefs and cash and this problem repeated I decided to try to create a new workspace and that's when I found it. I added panel after panel and checked . The second I added the properties panel all 3 pages where automatically selected. Closing it will make the single page selection available. As for the Questions of how I delete cache and prefs - I always do it manually: Users/[user]/Library/Caches/Adobe InDesign/Version [version]/InDesign SavedData Users/[user]/Library/Preferences/Adobe InDesign/Version [version]/InDesign Defaults This is a screenshot of my workspace. I hope you can confirm it so we can confirm the bug. Shlomit

Hello, Page tool is unable to select a single page in a spread when using a work space that was created by the user. When clikcking on one page It will select all pages. I indeed found a report about this issue in User Voice Jul 26, 2021. Title: "3 page master page spread (book cover). Unable to resize just the spine, the page tool selects ALL pages on the spread." It looks like it was completely ignored. I'm reposting it here as it looks to me that after 2 years it's about time to fix it. Shlomit

I'm unable to use the 2024 version and had to downgreade to 2023. This is awful. A new update came out last week but the problem still exist. This should be top priority. It's no logical the Hebrew & Arabic are not working as they should. It's been almost a month since I report it. A month is a long time when using this application is your main job.
