I've been using this file since CC2015 and have had no problems with this. Upon upgrade to CC2018, there is an issue with header rows in a table. (Mac OS 10.13.2, ID CC2018) Create a table row, insert graphics & copy in cell, convert to header row. Table & header looks fine. Continue table on 2nd page, graphics disappear from header. Sometimes, upon nudging the table, other rows (and margin at top of page) disappear. Tried exporting to IDML. No luck. Tried rebuilding from scratch. No luck. Any ideas? Bug? Unintended feature?

Try drawing the lines with rectangles instead of line tool. Then lay the triangle shape (no file) on top and select Pathfinder/Minus Back

Jan Make sure the permissions in this folder are also set to everyone (and apply to all enclosed). It is hidden by default, so you need to "Go/Go to Folder/" and select ~/Library to unhide.

Created a new project with the food bag template. Created the artwork at about 10 inches x 20 inches. Added label from Creative Cloud library. Rendered to High Quality / 16 bt PSD file. 89 hours later, this was my end product. Any ideas what went wrong?

I am wondering where to source good base models to use in Dimensions. I've been through the Adobe Stock library and cannot find models applicable to my trade. Dealing with skin care and cosmetics containers. Can anyone point to a good source for models, or a (fairly) simple app to create that works with Dimensions. The shapes aren't overly complex, I just don't see any in the stock library. Thank you!

Downside to resizing images per job is troublesome asset management. I have an asset library of terabytes of images, all stored at their highest possible resolution. Having multiple versions of the same asset can lead to trouble. Having to resize each image to ideal specs (in a 120 pg catalog, for example) is very time consuming. I think Rob's solution of print PDF files is the only way to save all involved time, if it's a concern. I never advocate downsizing or creating multiple versions of the same asset.

A way you can hack it is to rotate all your content on pg 2, then rotate the spread view for pg 2 180º. It will print correctly and you can still work on it right-reading.

I was having similar issues with our servers, but with previous versions of Indesign. I would open a directory and it would take forever to populate. I think it was a server issue / OS (Mac) issue, not Indesign. Do you have a previous version of Indesign to test with?

I use Helvetica Neue LT Pro as my company font. Recently, I have documents requesting the uppercase sharp S character in German materials. This font glyph does not seem available in Helv Neue LT Pro. Any ideas how to add it to the font set, or whether the font will be updated with this additional glyph?

Couple of things: 1. If you're sending this off to a printer, most times, they will want to do the imposition themselves. Set it up at finished page size and give a high res PDF. 2. If you're trying to figure out how to coordinate a doc, whether french fold, booklet, etc. take some blank paper and make a dummy. Number the way it should read, then unfold. This gives you all the info you need.

You can do 3 side by side by turning off Pages/Allow Document Pages to Shuffle, but I don't know how you can get the next to rows of 3 pages to butt up against. You may be better off creating Artboards in Illustrator to do this.

Indesign CC2017 / Mac OS 10.11.6 El Capitan With the update to 2017, the Options button in both the Open and Place dialogue won't stay selected. Have to press it every time to reveal open or place options. Bug? Way to fix?

In the PDF, go to fit to page view. Use the "page down" function on keyboard. Position moves slightly as it is not moving to next page in a clean increment. Instead, use the right arrow key. Type position is identical. You are trying to solve a viewing issue with a layout solution. You will never achieve what you want, as there is nothing wrong with your document, only how you are viewing it.

Other than the fact that there are different amounts of text taking up different amounts of space, I don't see any "jumping". The text is in the same place on both pages. Are you viewing "fit to page" then jumping in whole page increments - in either the indesign file, or the PDF?

Your example preview very tiny. Hard to see what is going on. Are you using paragraph styles? Do all the boxes have the same alignment settings? (Align to top, etc.)

Rather open ended question. Wondering if there are any settings in the PDF export dialogue that would help speed up the PDF creation of a certain document. Using CC2015, I have a 200+ page ID doc with 25+ multiple page ID files placed in. I'd use the book function normally, but these require a page number / header overlay not included in original docs. Exporting this doc to a PDF takes about 45 minutes. Saving it takes about 15. Any ideas on PDF settings that may speed up the creation - I realize it's churning through a lot of data, but wasn't sure if there are any check boxes I could uncheck to expedite. Just using a custom definition of 150 dpi / jpg quality automatic - high.

Computer is managed by me. Test driving the CC before I install for whole department (10 users). That's why I'd like to make sure this isn't happening for them. We're using iMacs running OS X Mavericks (10.9.2)

The prompt doesn't allow for an Adobe ID. It prompts for the 6 blanks of 4 numbers with the serial. After I enter it, it states I must log in with Adobe ID (although CC is already running and logged in with the correct Adobe ID). I click OK to log in with the ID and it activates CS6 (I don't have to actually enter in the ID - it's already holding it.)

Don't know why this is happening, but since I installed CC when I reboot my computer or launch CS6 apps for the first time I have to reenter the serial number for CS6. Quite annoying.
