If you still can't find it under Activity Monitor. Once the Activity Monitor is launched , in the Menu bar , click on " Edit" option and select " All Processes" option. Then look for Safari Notification process. Click on it and then click on x marked rounded located at the top left corner of Activity Monitor. It will prompt you options to Force Quit and Quit. Select Force Quit.

Trash Adobe Creative Cloud and Adobe Application Manager folders from Utilities. Run the Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner tool. If present select the option - Adobe Application Manager for Mac OS X 10.6 (it will be listed as 10.6 on all version Mac) Then click on Clean up selected. https://helpx.adobe.com/content/help/en/creative-suite/kb/cs5-cleaner-tool-installation-problems/_jcr_content/main-pars/accordion_container_1/accordion-par/accordion-item-1/accordion-item-par/procedure/proc_par/step_3/step_par/download/file.res/AdobeCreativeCloudCleanerTool.zip Then click on the below link and download Adobe Application Manager and install the same: http://download.adobe.com/pub/adobe/creativesuite/cc/mac/ApplicationManager8.0_all.dmg Once the installation process is completed , the installer box will disappear. Then open Applications folder on your Mac computer. Locate Adobe Application Manager shortcut icon and double click on it . It will start update process and gets updated to Creative Cloud App.

If you had purchased Creative Cloud subscription , then only you need to uninstall Trial version Lightroom application and it is mandatory. Then sign out from Creative Cloud and Sign in to refresh sign in and install Lightroom 5.7.1 from Creative Cloud App. This procedure only applies for Lightroom application alone. Other Apps like Photoshop , Illustrator..etc even though if you had purchased subscription , no need to uninstall, you can simply Sign out and Sign in. No need to uninstall the Lightroom 5.7 application , if you had purchased serial number . You can activate currently installed Lightroom application using serial number.

You can perform steps from beginning one more time. 1 )Open Control Panel and Navigate to Control Panel\Programs\Programs and Features . Under Program and Features list , locate Adobe Creative Cloud and uninstall the same. 2) Navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe. Open Adobe folder and delete folders named Adobe Application Manager and OOBE. 3) Navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe. Open Adobe folder and if present delete Adobe Creative Cloud folder. 4) Press Windows button (located between Ctrl and Alt buttons) along with R button together at a time , you will get a run command window. Type in below command and hit 'Enter' key. appdata Then navigate to Local>Adobe. Open Adobe folder and delete folders named AAMUpdater and OOBE. Important : Disable AntiVirus and Firewall temporarily. Click on the below link and download Creative Cloud setup file and use the same to install the Creative Cloud Desktop application. https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud Once the installation process is completed, try loading Apps tab and check, Still face same issue , create new Admin account on your Windows computer and launch Creative Cloud desktop app and try loading Apps list.

This is an issue especially on Mac computers. In this cases , you may try providing full permissions to both Libraries. ~/library and /library. make sure that currently logged in user account and Administrator has Read and Write Privileges for Library. Right click on Finder and select Go to Folder option. You will get a textbox , type in as ~/library (do not miss ~ symbol) It will open Library. on the view option for folder , click on 3'rd option . then you will be able to see Library named option on the left corner side ,. Right click on it and select GetInfo option. Please right click on Adobe folder and select "GetInfo" option. Expand the Sharing & Permissions section. Click the lock icon in the lower-right corner. Enter your administrator user name and password when prompted, and then click OK. Please click on '+' symbol , it will open list of user accounts. Add Administrator and currently logged in user account and provide read and write access. Click the Gear icon, and select Apply to Enclosed Item. Close the Get Info dialog box. Follow the above same procedure to /library. Mac computers has 2 libraries ~/library and /library. After providing read and writing access for currently logged in user account name and Administrator for both ~/library and /library. Try to launch Creative Cloud application. It should work Also you can try running disk utility and run repair disk permissions . Or it will most probably get resolved on Root user account . OS X Mavericks: Enable and disable the root user (Applies for Yosemite as well) How to log in as root Use these steps in Snow Leopard and later to log in as the root user. If you are logged in, choose Log Out from the Apple menu. If you are logging in from a list of usernames with pictures, click Other. In the Name field, type: root In the Password field, type the password you defined when setting up the root user account.

Once the Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop app is installed , Sign in , Once signed in , click on apps tab , it will load Apps list. Also there is an issue on windows computers, even though we set the LAN settings to detect settings Automatically , it will auto revert back by itself and tick the box, use proxy server. Reference link : LAN Connection settings keep changing back to proxy server after - Microsoft Community It will very essential that " Automatically detect settings" must be the only option selected , in order to sign in. If the LAN settings are already set to detect settings Automatically , we will try with different step. This is an typical issue being noticed on Windows computers. Follow the below steps: 1)Open Control Panel and then click on the option "Network and Internet" . 2)Click on Internet options, click on 'Connections' tab. 3)In the 'Connections' tab, select 'LAN' settings, you will be able to view the Local area network settings box. 4)Check the box-"Automatically Detect Settings" and then "uncheck" all the other check boxes like 'Use automatic configuration script', 'Use a proxy server' , Bypass proxy server' ,then click on ok button . 5)Click on "LAN settings" button again , make sure "Automatically Detect Settings" is the only option selected, keep the LAN properties window open. Then try signing in to Creative Cloud desktop app.

Ok , you may try below steps: Click on Start menu and in the search box , type in as CMD. Then among the search results. locate Command Prompt option, Right click on it and select Run as Administrator. (Very Imp) It will open Command Prompt window. Inside that , copy , Right click and paste below command on to Command Prompt window. net user administrator /active:yes It should prompt you with the message " The command completed Successfully" .( command will execute only if you had ran Command Prompt as Administrator) Then restart the computer . During login , you can see new user account named " Administrator" Log in to Administrator account , which will have special permissions. Again , Open C:drive and navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe. Open Adobe folder and delete folders named Adobe Application Manager and OOBE. ( If you cannot delete , rename it) Navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe. Open Adobe folder and if present delete Adobe Creative Cloud folder. Important : Please disable Anti-Virus and Firewall temporarily . Make sure to End all Adobe processes from Task Manager . You need to remove Adobe folder from below mentioned locations : Enable Hidden files and folders option. 1)C:\Program Files\Adobe 2)C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe 3)C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe 4)C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe 5)C:\ProgramData\Adobe Press Windows button (located between Ctrl and Alt buttons) along with R button together at a time , you will get a run command window. Type in below command and hit 'Enter' key. appdata It will open Appdata folder. Under Appdata , you can see folders named Local Local Low Roaming. Each one of them contains Adobe folders inside remove them. You can install CC apps like Photoshop cc 2014 , Illustrator cc 2014 ...etc without Creative Cloud , however in order to activate the Apps as full version , it is mandatory to have Creative Cloud desktop application installed on computer and signed in with valid Adobe ID. Open C:drive and navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe. Open Adobe folder and delete folders named Adobe Application Manager and OOBE. Navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe. Just to confirm , may I ask whether you had removed Adobe folders from all 8 or 7 locations? If you had performed complete removal and still facing same issue. Try right clicking on Creative Cloud setup.exe and select Run as Administrator option. Still facing same issue , you can try with New Administrator account or Hidden Administrator account. Also , you can try to update Adobe Application Manager to Creative Cloud Desktop app.

Click on License this Software button once ( diese software...) and sign in. If you are able to launch the application , then Sign out from Creative Cloud and Sign in. Then try to launch Premiere pro cc 2014. Still the same , check for Adobe entries in Hosts file once.

Also you can uninstall it from Adobe Installers folder located under Utilities Application>Utilities>Adobe Installers. Inside Adobe Installers , locate uninstaller file for After Effects and double click on it.. For Windows : Open Control Panel and Navigate to Control Panel\Programs\Programs and Features . Under Programs and Features ,locate After Effects cc and click on it and select Uninstall .

Sign out from Creative Cloud and sign in again using email ID using which you had purcahsed subscription: https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/sign-in-out-creative-cloud-desktop-app.html Then launch CC apps which is asking for serial number and check. Still asks for serial number check the hosts file for Adobe entries , if present remove it and try to activate. Windows : 1)Navigate to C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc and look for file named "hosts" inside etc folder. 2)Copy the hosts file to Desktop and open the same with notepad. 3)Delete Adobe entries present inside Hosts file like 127.0.0.1 activate.adobe.com.......etc 4)Copy and paste the Hosts file back to "Etc" folder. Make sure to select "Replace" option when prompted. Mac: 1) Right click on the Finder icon on dock and select "Go-To Folder" option. 2) You will get a text box, type-in below mentioned command and then hit 'Return' key. /etc 3) It will open the etc folder, please look for file named "hosts" and copy the same to Desktop screen.it 4)Double click on Hosts file , it will open it with TextEdit, If present Delete Adobe entries present inside Hosts file like 127.0.0.1 activate.adobe.com.......etc 5)Copy and paste the Hosts file back to "Etc" folder.
