Two items/info to add.   It appears this behavior is not consistent. The last Merge I accomplished did not result in this behavior. An Import (ADD) of old DNG images (converted from RAF) resulted in all the imports being flagged as rejected. It appears to be an odd metadata issue??? Looks like you are attempting to open a backup. I say that because of the zip file type. If you want to open a LrC backup, then you need to un-zip it, and typically move the un-zip copy to some other hard drive and/or folder. ... View more

Consider your Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop app sign-in. Are you, for some reason, signing out? If so, stop doing that. Signing out deactivates the local copy of Adobe products, including LrC. If you do that, then you need to sign back in to reactivate the apps.  ... View more

MS OneDrive is perhaps messing you up. There are many discussions about LrC and OneDrive. Many of us find it best to avoid associating our catalogs with OneDrive. It just screams for trouble. It is highly likely that the folder you place your catalog in is one that gets automatically synced to OneDrive. Blame this on MS for insisting that Windows users login using MS accounts instead of local, and treating OneDrive as the best thing since sliced bread (White bread, not so great). Most members do not intentionally place their catalog in OneDrive, that is, they do not actually run the catalog from OneDrive, or any other Cloud or Network Share, but instead just accidentally, no fault on their own (read bad bad MS) .   To stop this connection between the catalog and OneDrive, you could create a folder that is not associated with OneDrive, and move your catalog to it, or you could manage your OneDrive and disassociate the catalog (or more likely the folder) from OneDrive.   Some think that OneDrive is a great place to backup to, but how much OneDrive space do you have??? And if you do want to do that, then sure, copy or backup your catalog, but do not auto sync.   A consideration considering LrC catalogs and auto sync to OneDrive. Each and every edit, each and every mod, heck if you even look cross at your catalog, results in a sync to OneDrive. This can get very very chatty across your Internet access. I also have this issue, although in my case it is with any Photo Merge HDR. In my case, it occurs on both my Workstation and my Laptop. I have reset the preference file on both, with no change. A couple of notes. The first one is a request for you to share, perhaps at a photo share site, a copy of your RAW file to test.   A second note, is have you considered avoiding using a global adjustment and instead using a mask, likely a Subject Mask as to adjust just the moon. You may also want to duplicate and Invert that mask as so to just adjust the sky (if needed). Please post an example where you have not yet added or subtracted. Please post an example immediately after creating the subject mask. Your example with the subtractions adds confusion to your issue. I see that you are using LrC to convert the RAF to a DNG. In your case via the Denoise tool. A couple of points (that may be out of date)   The new Denoise does not create a DNG by default. That is, unless you use Enhance (Enhance will create a DNG) If you either use that method or use the Convert to DNG method, you are in effect using ACR (built into LrC) that has or had the underlying issue with RAF (Worms, overzealous sharpening)  Many Fuji X owners who absolutely hate Adobe's treatment of RAF use third-party RAF to DNG converters. Specifically Irident X-Transformer. I would recommend that you try that out (a trial download is available) Not all Fuji X owners find that ACR creates those worms any longer, and accept the LrC/ACR treatment. Although it is often recommended that you undo the lousy Adobe default in adding sharpening at import. The Saturation slider acts like the intelligent Vibrance slider when dragged to the right (+), but dragged to the left (-), it behaves like negative Saturation.  By @Rikk Flohr: Photography   Are you saying that the Saturation Slider in the Making Panels acts differently than Saturation in the General Panel? In the General Panel (supposedly), Saturation affects all colors, while Vibrant protects Skin Tones and areas not requiring boosting. I have 'solved' it by looking at another thread which said to only upload photo files (no video) via a different folder not directly from SD card and this seems to have worked.  I don't think LRC liked having photo and video files mixed.  By @esme_8207   What exact version of LrC do you have?
