How about this? Copy all files to the new drive including the Illustrator file. Open the Illustrator file on the new location and"Save as" it to the original location.

Hi. Please check in the Appearance panel if the circle has some Brush applied. You can click the "Clear Appearance" button on this panel to remove any extra effect, brush, etc.

Hi. The embedded image looks good because Illustrator imports all the pixel information. The linked image doesn't have all the information because Illustrator imported a low-res preview. When you export those linked images (for example, to PDF) you should be able to preview them in high resolution on the final file.

Hi. "Existing Type1 fonts will appear as “Missing fonts” in the document." "Many fonts published by Adobe Type in the past (such as Adobe Originals) are available from the Adobe Fonts service for free with your Creative Cloud subscription." So, as I understand: you will be able to open .ai files that contain Postscript files but you will get a “Missing fonts” message, however, you can replace it. Some Postscript fonts could be available on Adobe Fonts and you can use the "auto-install" Illustrator function.

Hi. I opened the PDF on Illustrator (it's not the ideal workflow but it's for testing). The file opened on Illustrator without the extra circles. Then, I created a new PDF and I didn't get the extra circles. I used the PDF/X-1a preset. Can I get the original .ai file? I'm very intrigued by this issue.

Hi. Those issues are common if you work with network volumes. I prefer to work with the file locally and then, copy it to the volume. You can try adding Photoshop on Preferences > Security & Privacy > Privacy > Full Disk Access
