You can simply reset your workspace or drag the gray bar front of the question mark icon up above the Tab bar—don't let go until you see a blue horizontal bar. Reset Workspace: Manually dock the Quick Access bar:

Hey Jennifer: I poked around a little on the Tech Smith site, and am wondering if either of these articles will help. Photoshop can edit the TIFF.

How can I merge or group them to represent one selection?? Ok: Outlined in pink: click the word selectio... to make the top layer active. Outlined in red: click the eyeball to show the top layer Outlined in green: Command+click the bottom mask Outlined in blue: Command+ Sh+ click the top mask This will show marching ants around the statue. Layer > Layer Mask > Delete Layer > Layer Mask > Reveal Selection

OK, that did get confusing. Let's try this again. How can I merge or group them to represent one selection? Control click your first mask in the Layers panel to load it as a selection (Cmd click on a Mac) Control Shift click the second mask in the Layers panel to add to the existing selection (Cmd Sh click on a Mac) (At this point you will see marching ants around both selections. Don't deselect.) Layer > Layer Mask > Delete Layer > Layer Mask > Reveal Selection That gives you a new mask that combines both of the original masks.

No, that doesn't work in InDesign. To replace images in InDesign; Select the frame containing the old image and File > Place will replace the old one with the new one, or Select the frame containing the old image and use the Relink icon in the links panel to link to a new image

I don't use FrameScript so perhaps that will offer you a better way, but within FM11, navigate to the blank pages and Format > Page Layout > Master Page Usage and set the Master Page to None. I wouldn't do it though until the edits are finalized or it will become a nightmare as text reflows.

I just wanted to add that you can pick a fixed size in Appearance (i.e.m 8 pt, 10 pt), or Auto. Auto will increase/decrease the size of the text entered into the text field, based on the size of the box and amount of the text. The text size will be inconsistent between fields, but it will all fit, and then all print.

Those were the two I tested because they seemed logical to me, and then removed Doc Properties to see if it still worked with just Para Formats. I couldn't find it in the help though—I looked. Anyway, glad you are back on track.

I find that dialog box to be backwards. The checkmarks mean "exclude" not "include". There is no checkmark on first item?

my client wants these files in framemaker. Of course. I was asking because I am an InDesign user as well, and based on how InDesign packages, I mistakenly assumed FrameMaker would the exact same thing when we recently got the feature. It does not work exactly the same way. I mean the graphics aren't copied to the zip file. ...should mean that you need to review your settings. If you have a smart object, that means (normally) that you want a smart object to be able to keep some editing or filter options available. Rasterizing flattens that layer out and takes away these options. One more idea to add to the mix: you can double click the Smart Object thumbnail in the Layers panel to open it, and edit it normally. Save and close the it and you will be returned to the original document. This way you keep the editing advantages as per Feierwoon.^^

What type of paragraph are talking about? A heading? An alert or note para? Once the first table is set up, you can quickly add additional tables (pre-formatted) with Table > Insert Table, or the keyboard shortcut Esc ti.
