thanks for the reply, no I hadn't seen the os release but updateing now to14.4 as the update suggest as for LRC i'm on 13.1 and will also check CC for updates there though yesterday it told me I was up to date again many thanks.   ... View more

Completely agree.  Tethered shooting has been an issue for years.  And it always fails at the exact worst time.  Everytime it works and I have to change my camera batteries, or a lens, or the cable pops out, it's like you have to make a token sacrifice to the digital gods, toss salt over your left shoulder, do a dance of "do I start lightroom first? or the camera first?," roll for initiative, and hope Pan the goat god smiles on you favorably to make it work again.   ...
