I keep getting an error:"An error was encountered while writing the output file. The output destination could not be found. Check that the output directory still exists. If the output directory is on a network or external device, check that the connection is active."The setup for my ingestion is as follows for my team project setup: I have it save a copy to my external hard drive and then save a proxy to the preset 'creative cloud'.But when I insert a clip into premiere it saves a copy to external HD (no problem there), but while making the proxy it errors, because it can't access the drive. The silly thing is, if I change that setting from the built in preset 'creative cloud' to use the browser and find the exact same folder in creative cloud, it seems to work fine. This is odd.I am figuring it has an issue with my creative cloud being on a different drive (G drive) rather than being in the default C drive and the code is looking for a wrong drive.Anyone else have this issue or i
Hi, I am trying to open a team project in 2018. The project gets to the "processing loaded assets" section where it just seems to stop loading. I have tried opening it in 2019 to no avail also tried opening it from the other collaborator's computer which also did not work. I have waited over 2 hours on the computer and have tried restarting the computer and the project. I also can't open the project through the media browser tap in Premiere or create a new team project from the auto-saves. Any advice on how I can open this project as I need to work on it today, it is time sensitive?
hi everyone!i have a problem:i can't save the project in any way.. thx for help!
Hello! I work on After Effects and me and my friends want to create a team project. When I go inside After Effects and click"New team project" it just makes a normal project. What do I do to create a team project properly and how do I add friends?
Hi, I created a Team Project and have tried to share my changes with my collaborator. It seems to get stuck on processing deleted assets (see screenshot). It's a brand new project so I don't know what "deleted assets" I would even have..I have left it for over an hour but with no luck. What can I do?
PeterELeePremiere 12.1.2Mac Pro Late 2013 modelMacOS 10.11.6We are having big problems with opening Team Projects. Our team just now ran into the same issue simultaneously. The three of us were all in the same Team Project this morning when we started to notice changes weren't being shared or received. Then the share changes/get changes buttons that previously had been highlighted weren't highlighted any more.So we closed the projects, closed Premiere and tried to reopen them. Only now when choosing the Team Project from the welcome screen, it would try to open it with the loading progress bars for a split second, then immediately return to the welcome screen with the list of recent projects. After five or six attempts I was able to load the Team Project, but changes still aren't available to share/receive.Same experience later duplicated with coworkers. We all closed each Adobe app, signed out of Creative Cloud app, signed back in. Same issue
Okay Adobe Team, can you guys please assist? Thanks! Gabriel Lakey,Senior Editor | Jeff Hays Films
Logged in this morning to find my team project not loading. When I open Premiere, I get the regular welcome screen. When I select "Open Team Projects, I get my full list of projects. So far so good. When I select the project I want to open, it goes through the normal motions, all the same project bars light up, though it completes quite a bit faster than usual. When it's done, it kicks me back out to the Premiere welcome screen (not the open graphic, the main menu where I can start a new local project, team project, access learning docs, etc.) It's done this after a system restart and after upgrading to the most recent version of Premiere via Creative Cloud. I ran the old Team Project Recovery app which has helped in similar situations in earlier versions, but no luck. My other team projects open fine. What's the deal?
Hi - I know others have this same issue: our labels disappear in team projects. TOTAL workflow stoppage here. This is integral to the functionality of our editing software. PLEASE FIX THIS. Thank you,Dina
Is there a way to project manage a teams project for archiving? The Project manager option is greyed out and I don't want to convert the project to a local project because I'm not sure if I can make that a teams project again. What I'm trying to do is keep the project as a teams project and project manage all assets for achieving if that is achievable. If the only option is to convert the project then I'll go ahead and do that.
Hi,I am on 12.1.2 (build 69). We had been working on Team Projects and then took the project offline (local project). Everything was working fine and then, all of a sudden, we are getting the locator ID error. See the attached screenshot. If you see at the bottom, the Program has lost the path. We revert to an auto-save, but then, eventually, the locator ID bug creeps back. Eventually, it loses the path for every clip. This was a problem in 12.1.1, but I thought it was supposed to be fixed in the latest version.PeterELee -- I thought this bug was diagnosed and fixed. Have you heard of it coming back in the latest release? Thanks,Tom
Hi All,Does anybody know if Team Project has an option to use an on premiss storage, or this service is cloud-based only? Thanks!
Hi,We're currently experimenting with Team Projects, everything works well and makes sense - until it comes to the inclusion of after effects.1.) 'Replace with After Effects Sequence' is greyed out - A massive, massive loss in my opinion, how easy it was to just highlight a single clip and quickly stabilize it, why is this gone? Is there a way to bring it back? 2.) OK, let's try something else. So I'm opening the Premiere Pro Team Project in After Effects to add a simple lower third. The Timeline is not a timeline though, it's being interpreted as a single video file? Why did After Effects all of a sudden lose the ability to open Premiere Pro sequences?3.) OK, So I'm dragging this video file into a new After Effects Sequence. I add simple text. click 'Share my changes to Team Projects' jump back into Premiere Pro...and...The newly created After Effects sequence is offline! I go back into After Ef
Hi there,I can't seem to find an answer to this and I've called the support team but I have a pretty robust firewall and I don't have the clearance to bypass so they couldn't get remote access.I'm running on Windows 7 and my system properties are:Intel Xeon CPU E5-2620 v4 @ 2.10GHz (2 processors)32 GB RAM64-bit Operating SystemNVIDIA QUADRO P1000I'm working on a team project on AE CC version 15.1.2 and for some reason over the past couple of days, every time I try to copy anything (keyframe, layer, comp) my After Effects crashes without a crash log. It just disappears- poof. It doesn't matter whether I'm using the hotkey Ctrl+C or doing it old school under Edit and Copy. I've deleted my preferences, restarted, uninstalled and re-installed and it doesn't seem to matter. I work at a company with strict security-- could the firewall be the problem? I'm working on the project with a colleague who works on a Mac and doesn't have this issue at all (he's also behind the firewall). The project
We started using creative cloud yesterday. I cannot seem to log in to or start a new team project. To be clear, I have tried, restarting PC, restarting cloud, signing in and out, restarting premiere several times, but the log in progress bar hangs for ages and never actually loads anything. I cannot open a new team project and try and recover from the media browser because it wont get that far. I cannot open our previous project for the same reason. I have the latest version of Premiere pro, as mentioned we downloaded and started it yesterday. Would be very grateful for your assistance as we need to get something out very soon. Thanks to anyone who helps.
Trying out the Team Projects and ran into an issue where one of my fellow editors wants to organize footage using label colors. How ever the label color is effecting the entire clip. I imagine this can easily be fixed by toggling the "Display the project items name and label color for all instances" but I am unable to find that option under the menu option File>Team Project Settings. Is anyone else missing that dialogue box? Is it located somewhere else in team projects? Thanks in advance
I have this issue too, but with team projects. Im not sure I can rename the project? I could save a a project and then back to a team project however this loses all my markers placed on footage and I'm not prepared to lose all of the time spent doing those. Any workaround? Thanks.
Does anyone know what is going on here??
This seems like a basic question, but we are really struggling with the answer.Let's say we have 3 users: User 1, User 2 & User 3. Our media is Media A, Media B, Media C & Media D. User 1 uploads the 4 clips into the cloud and User 2 & 3 download the changed version. However, User 2, accidentally linked Media A to Media AA. So now there is a conflict because User 1 & 3 are linking to Media A but the cloud is confused as to whether it is Media A or Media AA. So now there are conflicts to resolve every time someone tries to share. User 2 gets a conflict asking how to resolve Media A and Users 1 & 3 get a conflict about Media AA. The simple answer is someone needs to tell the cloud that Media AA is really Media A. My question is how? Theoretically I think User 1 should just say Keep My Changes and User 2 needs to Take Shared Version. I don't think that is what happens though. We keep trying and this mysterious Media AA keeps popping up in our project.I feel like there
Duplicating a sequence with a multi-cam clip causes that clip to be flagged as edited when the new sequence is downloaded to another edit station sharing the Team Project. We have been having seeing this problem a lot, in a Team Project with lots of multi-camera clips shared between 2-3 edit stations. Wondering if there is any fix, or if other people are having the same issue. Here's a simple test case:We have 2 edit systems, call them EditA and EditB sharing a Team Project. The project contains a single multi-camera clip ("multiclip1") which is cut into a sequence ("seq1").Both edit systems have shared all changes, so they are completely in sync -- the arrows for uploading and downloading changes are greyed out on both systems. On EditA--duplicate seq1, to produce "seq1 copy 01"--EditA now has changes to share -- the upload arrow changes to white--upload the changes -- the only changed asset that appears in the dialog window is "seq1 copy 01", as expected. On EditB--there are
Hi, I have a project that has some media we no longer want in the project. I delete it from my project and upload the changes. Everything looks good. When I open the project up again and get changes, the media is back in the project. I am guessing someone still has the media in their project and that's why it keeps reappearing. How do I prevent this media from ghosting back into the project. I want to force my project to override everyone else's and get this media our permanently. Thanks,Tom
I have a co-worker who just started Tuesday and had to update to 12.1.2 when we are all on 12.1.1. She is on a laptop with about 25 GB of Available Memory. I told her she could put all the cache and render files on her external hard drive. However, when she opens Premiere, it starts eating away her hard disk memory until it gets to about 10 GB and Premiere shuts down.Is this a bug for 12.1.2? Is this normal for the program? When I do basic tests, I don't see any memory loss when I am using the program, but I have plenty of space and let the program write to my internal hard drive.Steps we took:1) File / Team Projects Settings / Scratch Disks - Set All Scratch Disks to External Hard Drive.2) Edit / Preferences / Media Cache - Set Media Cache Files and Media Cache Database to External Hard DriveNot sure what else to do. Any ideas? Thanks,Tom
Hi, We tried the Team Project but I think that since it's still in beta, we will wait a bit to jump in completely. I'd like to share one problem that we had with the media management / mapping / relinking. The fact that you can have both of mapping media and "make offline", and "relink" medias in the team project may create new kind of bug like the one we had.First time my client started the Team Project, I had succesfully mapped the media, all was linked. The day after, he called me and all the media were all offline, ( I don't know what wen't wrong, only closed and restarted Premiere) So I did try to do the same thing, but no luck. Mapping to the folder we're the medias were would not reconnect...I didn't know what to do so I tried to force offline the media by right clicking on the bin folder in Premiere (Make Offline). Tried to relink with link media option... but all the file path/tape name/file name infos of every medias we're... gone!I know that we should not be relinking like th
I can open old team projects, but I cannot create a new one. It just sets there and spins
I updated from 12.0.1 to 12.1 today, wanted to make sure XML importing was fixed. But encountered some other odd issues first:1) Opening a Team Project last saved with 12.0.1 resulted in a 4-5 minute wait before it would open. It has about 1000 project items to load, but this would previously take <30 seconds. Usually more like 15 seconds. This is very odd, but perhaps there's some sort of conversion from 12.0.1 happening in the background.2) Upon opening, there's a message that says "Invalid Font Family: DIN, replaced with Courier New." Theses fonts were used in a Legacy Title in the project (and many other projects), and when I checked to see if they were still installed, the Mac Font Book correctly shows them. However, in Premiere's Legacy Titler, the DIN font family (sub-variations for Regular, Medium, Light, Bold) is missing. There are two other top level font family options that are new, though - DIN Condensed, DIN Alternate. DIN
