Using the Community

I am having issues with video or pictures displaying.  I have production premium cs6 running Win8.  I had not problems for months, but now I cannot see my video or pictures in Premiere Pro, AE and Photoshop.  I can see Pics and video in Bridge and pics in Illustrator.  I have uninstalled and reinstalled and I am getting the same issue.  Not sure what to do now. 

I'm not sure where to post this, off topic, question so I'm sticking it here; with appologies. I want to change my signature and I've forgetten how I did it the last time   I've checed My Address, My Infor and My pref but none of those places have the signature option; so, after doing a search and surfing this sight for over 30minutes I gave up and came here.

If it's not just me, is all that content just gone forever, or is there a way to get at it?

Please can someone help me, im writing text inside a shape and ive got that far ive even changed font sizes, now id like to write smaller text in the gaps between different font sizes does anyone know how to do this please im using PSCS2 Mahhoooossive Thank Yous in advance!! x

My library has many downloadable books in PDF format (e.g.: epublications ). If I download a book to my tablet, I cannot currently also download it to my phone. I understand that I would be able to read PDFs on multiple devices if I were to register them with Adobe. How do I go about doing this?

More and more lately, I have been coming across posts marked as answered (green icon), and yet, if you open the thread, no post is marked as a correct answer. Most forums I frequent (or all) show only two pages to select from on the top:Very often there are three, four, or more pages (with the default 30 topics) with new or updated topics.  This becomes very inconvenient when replying to topics on page three or four; we have to paginate through pages 1, 2, 3, 4.Can we have more pages listed on top; e.g. the first four or five?Thank you.

I'm working heavily with jsfl in order to automate massive changes in a flash elearning content and I don't find a thread for jsfl issues.Is there anyone? If not, wouldn't it be a good idea to add one?

Ok, So I was a subscriber to the e-learning suite. I got an email saying it was being discontinued. I supposed this was Ok, there was an upgrade was to the creative cloud and I got to keep my Captivate because I got a free year..Then I got an email from Adobe saying that they were sorry I had chosen to discontinue my subscription to the E-Learning Suite. A little checking and it seems that the e-learning suite still exists. So I have just spent 20 minutes looking for a telephone number to talk to someone (why, I am not sure. Every previous telephone call to Adobe has wasted 4-6 hours and gone no where.)So my question is this - does the Adobe e-Learning suite still exist? Can I resubscribe? Is the new marketing plan for the Creative Cloud simply to poach customers from other divisions of Adobe?Sadly, I do not expect a coherent answer. Recently I have not been able to add photos to a quick collection when the marker is clicked. The marker fills in, but the photo does not appear in the quick collection. At the same time this problem occured, I could not remove photos from the quick collection that had been previously added. I had to remove those photos using the menu system. I upgraded to the new release of Lightroom 5 yesterday thinking that would solve the problem. I still have the problem so I am wondering if it is a setting I have missed. The quick collection marker button is checked in the view options and the button does appear and change when clicked... The photo thumbnail is just not added to the quick collection.

I'd like to know whichi program best suited for interactive PDF forms which can get its information from a SQL database.For example on the form the line that state "Customer's Name" is written and that customer name can be drawn from a database whichi i'd link for the user to choose from.If you do know whichi program best suited for what i need please state it and if possible state the guide that will help me link the interactive form to an existing database, preferably SQL.

It adds lines that can't be removed and some things are lighter grey in word whereas they were black in the PDF file. How do I fix these issues.

This seems crazy economics from Adobe. Because I am an educator you offered me and I accepted a reduced price on Photoshop. This wasn't because you value my work with young people it was because I might open their eyes to Adobe products. Now because of this you won't let me buy the CC Photography Programme subscription. I and many other would have bought the original subscription offer if we could afford it. Clearly only about 700K users could do so until recently. Now you offer the CC PP as a 'reward' to existing customers. You don't have to go to Harvard BS to know that in retail there are no rewards, only incentives disguised as rewards. You want as many people as possible to sign up. It matters not one bit what anyone did, had or bought before. All that matters is what they WILL spend and for how long. I want to subscribe, I want to give you $9..99 a month, every month until I die or go blind. You won't let me do that and my only other alternative is to walk away. Adobe is turning

I found a discussion that answers a question I had (how to save in PremierPro CS 6 for CS 5.5). I would like to bookmark it within my Adobe account for future reference. I went to the help lnk at bottom of every page on these forum and I'm informed Adobe doesn't do help it does discussions.Please discuss.

If I missed it, please just point me in that direction and lock this thread.Thanks.<rant>These are the Adobe forums. Why does the spell checker flag the names of Adobe products like "Lightroom"? Why are names of codecs or formats like tif flagged. Heck, why is "codec" flagged?Why is Photoshop flagged if I type it photoshop? You know it is now a verb as well as a noun.It just seems wrong to me that I have to look through a long post to find the errors only to find out that the only errors are names of Adobe products or commonly used words in a video or photo editing world.Doesn't Adobe have any pull with the Jive folks at all?</rant>

On my forum profile there is a mention about the Jive SBS app. Apparently I should be able to use it on my iPhone to access the Adobe forums. I downloaded it but it doesn't seem to work, it gives me an error when I try to log in with my email or the screen name. Am I doing something wrong, or the mobile acces is disabled?

What can I think of this (scan) format - how secure/ standard is it. Will it still be readable in 10 yeard time? Can anybody help me with product specifications?
