I produce a web television show and need a solution for automated playback. I have 18 1 hour shows that I want to play at specific times throughout the month. Does Flash with actionscripting make this possible, or is there another solution available within the Adobe Family of Products? I have the Adobe Creative Production Suite CS5. Thank you in advance.

When I attempted to log on to the Adobe forums the other day, I got the message:It appears your account has been disabled. You might contact your administrator if you think this is a mistake.I had to create a new user name to access.Although I don’t have a huge number of postings under my belt, I did have an account on the Adobe forums for around 10 years, and It is annoying to have to create a new username to get on here.

Hi,I have always been a huge fan of adobe but currently I am in a bad situation and I need your suggestion.I am now put incharge of the video editing department, where our company make videos and send it to clients. It's a multinational company so imagine the professional customer.The Videos will include Power Point presentation capture with Audio and a huge amount of Video Camera movies.Our Company Manager suggesting Camtasia, Sony but I heard Adobe has a very good product as well.Kindly suggest what Adobe Product and Version can support my requirement and also is it better and easy to operate than the above two products.Thanks...Waiting for your honest replies...

I got a new computer running Windows 7 and have been using Windows Live Mail.This is where I get my e-mails for updates to messages on this forum.The link for the message thread has a link that includes the # sign with the correct message to go to on the page.Now with Windows Live when I click the link it leaves the number after the # sign and just goes to the top of the thread instead to the exact comment.I can copy and paste the link into a browser and it works fine but if I just click it it does not work like it used to with Outlook Express.Any ideas if this might be fixable.Thanks:  GLenn

While visiting the forums, a pop-up asked me if I wanted to complete a survey on the Adobe site.I said yes, but it then requested I enable javascript and immediately froze my browser (Firefox 3.6.3). In fact I had to restart the computer to resume my work in the forums.

I just purchased and installed CS5 Production Premium but now Quicktime is not running correctly.  Symptom: say if I go to YouTube, the clips don't appear, just the audio, and the toolbar does not show all items.  If I click on the blank picture, the clip plays in full-frame only.  On other sites, clips do not even show up as full-frame, but audio is okay.I'm running a mac clone: plenty of power and storage.  OS 10.5.8.  I updated my Mac software, but did not cure it.  Any suggestions?

I'm still using Developer Toolbox, it's really a time saving extension for Dreamweaver, now that Adobe discontinued why not releasing it as open source to allow users increase/revive it?Being discontinued means no market for Adobe.I'm really sad about the fact that they disontinued this really useful software.Or at least make it CS5 compatible.eng. I prefer to use Opera as a browser.There seems to be some sort of conflict though. I cannot post to any Adobe forum in any reasonable manner from Opera.When I press return, the current line moves DOWN and the next line appears ABOVE. Somehow doesn't fit known (at least to me) reading conventions.Any comments welcome.

I want to go from Adobe 4.0 Writer to more current versions, but I see that v9.0 Pro is not compatible with Windows 7.I need to be able to copy from pdfs to word or excel and have it correctly populated.  I do a lot of work with Excel and need this ability.  I can do it with v7.0 but that is not my copy and I do not like the way a document prints to the PDF file because it crops the data.Dennis

im really worried about upgrading from CS3 premiereto CS5?i have read online that Premiere CS5 Does NOT support True XDCamunless it has been shot at 35mbs onto theSXS cards, i would like to bypass the cards with an Aja and record at 10mb 4.2.2.and 150plus mbpsi can set the Aja or Nanoflash unit to record with mxf files or QT .mov files but obviously the data will be a lot higher.i cant get any sense out of adobe support, in fact i can barely understand him,anybody out there from adobe who could put in writing if they support this?or anybody using this system already. bypassing the compressed filesthanks

Is it allowed to copy original Adobe software(photoshop, illustrator) to a blank CD/DVD for back up?So the original files wouldn't be harmed, if anything happenes at the work place.

Good day.It is a well known fact that when we take images and increase their sizes in pixels, it isn't such a great ideaonce you cross a particular threshold. For example, to increase a 300 pixel wide image into 800 pixels is adreaded idea...even in Photoshop because of the artifacts produced.I believe that as a bat programmer myself, I have discovered a way to make such an increase without anyartifacts whatsoever.I would be interested in an Adobe prepresentative contacting me about my idea. If not, I welcome any interestedsoftware party. I am creating images for someone using Captivate. I have created jpeg images and I have used .emf files for the vector images so they can be scaled. However, the vector images (.emf) come in looking horrible. The gradients are all chunky and the outlines are gone. The person I have made the images for has converted them to .png and they look fine, but I want them to still be vector. Everything I have found says that Captivate can handle an .emf. I am on a MAC and she is on a PC. Does anyone have any suggestions as to why this is happening? Is there a different winodws based vector format that would work. The images were originally built in Illustrator.

I couple of years ago I bought Adobe CS2, Photoshop, Illustrator & In-Design. My computer is a Dell PC 2004 and things are beginning to bog down and trouble. So if I get Windows 7 will CS2 run on it? I DO NOT want to spend more money upgrading (didn't like CS3 and they unnessary changes Adobe made to it).Thanks!

Hello, I'm a student currently attending a college/university and I am looking at purchasing the Photoshop CS5 extended upgrade software and for discount purposes I am looking at the Student/teacher edition. I was looking at the limitations and what confused me was that it describes a 12 month period. I'm not sure what it exactly means. Does it mean that I am purchasing a product that can only be used for a 12 month period (like an extended trial)? I want to purchase this product and be able to use it for longer than that.
