Using the Community

My recommended presets are not showing. My premium presets are fine. When I press recommended, all of the options come up blank eg  'warm, cool, dark, cinematic' etc. I have uploaded a screenshot. I have today, reinstalled the app,  which by my mistake made me lose all of my own presets. I am upto date with an updates,including my phones updates. I am all signed in correctly. This is on lightroom mobile. Any help appreciated please, thank you  

So i’m having the same problem as this person. i’ve tried the solutions that were suggested but none of my endlessly syncing documents are showing up in my creative cloud on my desktop browser. I’m not sure what else to try. It might be that my cloud storage is full but im not sure. i believe i have the same ipad as the woman n the other post if that matters.

My Behance profile suddenly switched all my projects to private and I’m unable to edit them. I also cannot view my resume or public profile. I have checked all settings, cleared caches, even changed profile availability off then on. Still nothing works.I found a separate thread with the same issue and Behance fixed the bug. I need this same treatment, please help me Behance!  

Any idea what is going on with Adobe Create a Post? I have been trying to Ask A Question regarding CC Synch. When there are no matching questions, I get Post the Question and the web page hangs. The link i am using “https://community.adobe.com/topic/new?subject=Creative%20Cloud%20Synch%20Failing&community=Photoshop&type=question. And yes Im logged in.

I spent over 20 minutes editing a reply, and after clicking Send, I got the error message “Something’s gone wrong”, and all of the reply text has disappeared.  Thank you for respecting my time.    This problem is easy to reproduce.  Create a new reply and copy/paste the text from the attached file “buggy.txt” into the reply, then click Send.  Adding a space before the open parentheses avoids the problem.  Shame on the developers. The old Khoros platform saved your edits every few seconds and would recover them in situations like this.

In the last day or so, using Cmd/Ctrl click  on subject lines in the the threads listings no longer opens the thread in a new tab. You can still right-click a subject line to open it in a new tab. Can anyone point me at the general HTML/DOM mechanism that might be causing this?  If I know what to look for, I can try to fix this bug in my browser script for making the forums more useable.

On main Photoshop community page, Mac, Firefox, command click link for new tab goes to page in same tab. Not the expected behavior. Not a big deal but it breaks long history of web link behavior on main page.

Can someone explain to me why so many useful and BRAND NEW threads on here keep getting shut down before anyone can respond or actually give good advice. Continually shutting down forum threads that simply do not please the powers that be needs to stop NOW.

I have two different Adobe sign ins. I had been using my regular email address for the forum and a secondary email address for my Creative Cloud account. This ensures that notifications of forum replies get sent to my regular email address. However, I’ve recently been getting some replies at my regular email and some at my secondary one. When I click on my avatar in the forum at the top right and select My Profile, it doesn’t let me know which email address I’m signed in under. I’d like to be able to know which email address I’m signed into when using the forum so I can control to which email address the reply notifications are being sent so I’m not bouncing between email addresses trying to follow the replies.I was trying to mark a reply to a post I created as Best Answer. However, I couldn’t find the option to mark it as Best Answer. When I click on my avatar at the top right in the forum and select “Logout”, I get sent to this error page:In any case, even if I sign out of one login

For at least the last few days, the forum search hasn’t been displaying result posts in these forums: Lightroom Classic, Camera Raw, Lightroom Ecosystem.  It does display results in some other forums I’ve tested: Photoshop Ecosystem, Acrobat, Adobe Premiere. On Mac, I’ve tested Chrome, Firefox, and Safari, and on Windows, Edge (all with extensions turned off).  And yes, I use Google search, but the forum search and Google search have different capabilities and limitations. ​@Rikk Flohr_Photography, since there appears to be no active Adobe monitoring of this forum, perhaps you can forward this to the responsible people?    

I downloaded two photos from the section that says Libraries & Brands. The choices to download were in jpg or png. I chose jpg. The images that downloaded were 240x360 instead of the larger jpg sizes that are well over 1000 px. Why are there two sizes in two different locations? This was an entirely bad user experience that messed up my limited 10 download amount. Now I have two images that I can’t really use. There should not be two sizes in two different places for no reason. If that is absolutely needed, then it should be made absolutely clear in the dialog pop-up box when selecting between jpg or png and the pixel size should be present. So again, I need my two images replaced by the larger images.

If I try to enter “<colon>” in a post’s title, I get a silly error message, “The title contains HTML tags”.  I guess the forum coders don’t understand how to escape text with special characters to produce valid HTML.    

It’s impossible to enter the text “XMP” followed by a colon. When I try to type the text shown in this screenshot:the forum converts it into “XMP.” (“XMP” followed by a period).  Copy and paste doesn’t work around it.  But you can enter it into a Code box:XMP:AlreadyApplied In the Lightroom and Camera Raw forums, it’s relatively common to discuss metadata issues, and XMP<colon> is a frequent prefix for important metadata fields. A little experimentation shows that typing “P” followed by colon always results in “P.” What is so offensive about P<colon>???  Did high schoolers code the forum platform?

isnt generating any images. takes like 20 minutes to think and then sends oops there was a mistake. 

OK, it seems like this is a known bug but I found a couple data points, some of which might be new.The Problem: In AE 26.0, while rendering from a Synology NAS to a Synology NAS (with AE project on same NAS), during rendering, the Synology volume will be passively unmounted. It can be re-mounted without problem, but when unmounted the render fails because it can’t find the source files. Basically, in short order after starting render (w/in first 5 min or so), AE or the OS is kicking the Synology off on that computer. The Synology continues running, it just got unmounted locally.A couple of useful details: if I disable Multi-frame rendering, the project will render successfully. This has been documented elsewhere.HOWEVER, since I’m the weirdo with 7 various computers, I can report where it is and is NOT happening, and this isn’t happening on my Windows 10 based system, nor is it happening on my 2020 10 core iMac running 14.8.4It IS happening on my Macs running 15.7.4 on both a 2018 Mac

Lightroom has always worked perfectly for me and suddenly its crashing constantly, often immediately from opening. No other software has a similar issue, eg photoshop or any other high tariff software. I have the highest spec macbook pro so dont believe its RAM etc. I have updated my macbook software, updated lightroom, uninstalled and re-installed all with no avail other than perhaps a temporary improvement

Within the last hour or so, header links to Notifications, Avatar, and Create Post button have gone missing.  I was only able to create THIS post by narrowing my viewport & clicking the PLUS (+) sign that appears in the screen’s lower right corner.  Desktop Firefox, ver 148.02Win11 ver. 25H2 Anyone else missing header links?
