I have been working through the forums trying to find answers to questions I have but am hitting some serious fundimental usibility issues. The one that is killing me the most right now is, there is NO visual indication at all that you have visited a post before in the "Related Topics". With "Related Topics" there is the other issue of the green check by the post. If i am not mistaken the green check has for some time indicated a "correct answer". Why use the green check in "Related Topics" for posts that have zero replies? The first few links you think you are getting a post that someone has indicated a correct answer but when you click on the link... not even a reply. All of the usibility issues experenced are easily discoverable within minutes of just fundimental use of the forums.Search the forums for "Captivate 2019 Assets".Try to get more than 7 posts to list.Find a thread where a user says, "In my previous post" or "in another thread I replied to".T
Will anyone who visits my profile page see messages that have been posted to the restricted access Adobe Community Professional forum pages such as the 'Back Room'? Some of the content in the message preview could contain NDA content. So, will all users be able to see this? If they can would they be able to navigate the link and read the content?
Whoever changed my avatar from my picture to a skull is pretty inconsiderate. Whatever method you use to override customer preferences with your own avatars is not exactly funny or nice.

I assume two people can not have the same Adobe forum name, is this correct? If so then please can someon etell me how can my profile name that was created in 2012 this being soul_ be now soul_-UNOIKh and how can there be another id of soul_ created in 2018 be in my place? Can someone help me out with this. I would like to know why I've had my solution walk-through to a very troubling Dreamweaver bug deleted from the thread twice. This was a solution to my own post. The original post is here:https://community.adobe.com/t5/Dreamweaver/Incorrect-Related-Files-Showing/m-p/10617592#M54753 My correct solution that has been deleted from the thread twice is reposted here:https://community.adobe.com/t5/Dreamweaver/Working-solution-to-Corrupted-Site-Prefs/m-p/10617607 The original thread currently has an answer marked as correct this not correct. It is not effective, did not solve the issue, mentions irrelevant, misleading, unrelated suggestions & links to an article that explains a process that does not work & contains multiple wrong file paths and other problems that would send a user on a fruitless wild-goose-chase. I took almost an hour to craft a proper walk-though of the actual solution only to find this unhelpful post markes as the answer. My attempt to post the
So, I can add a horizontal line by just clicking on the insert html button (third from right), simply place nothing in the box, and click on Ok. Resulting in the following line But, how do I actualy use the input box? Perhaps I am using the wrong conrext <html> <head> <title>hr tag with attributes</title> </head> <body> <p>Normal horizontal line.</p> <hr> <p>Horizontal line with height of 30 pixels</p> <hr size="30"> <p>Horizontal line with height of 30 pixels and noshade.</p> <hr size="30" noshade> </body> </html> or hr { width: 80%; height: 8px; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; background-color:#666; border: 0 none; margin-top: 100px; margin-bottom:100px; } or
PLEASE bring back the livecycle forums. Why would Adobe get rid of a whole forum that was used by many people? There are alot of people who still use livecycle and who benefited from the years of discussions/answers. Will you bring it back?
Since this forum was updated I can't access most links from indexed posts on Google, especially about InDesign Scripting. When I search directly for the title here, I can't find it either. Have these contents been lost?
Hopefully this is the right place to post this. I have a feature request on the forums that will make it easier to use for people responding to a posted question. Could we get a larger text field to type in when we respond to a post, like how when we initially create a post? I'll attach an example. Any responses longer than two sentences oftentimes gets cut off to where it's hard to see all of the information at once. It would be nice to at least I the corner at the bottom right corner of the text field be able to drag down to make the text field bigger so that I can see my entire text all at once. Thanks, Brandon Loshe
Regarding the use of the Adobe Community itself... Do you frequent users have tips on searching for your question in this community? And Adobe, why does search functionality seem to pull up unrelated material when I know there is relevant material existing on my beginner-level questions? When I search on Google to ask a question about an Adobe software, I see links show up to posts that would clearly answer my question, links that lead to this adobe community. Then when I click said links, it takes me here, to a welcome page where I have to then click on the app I want to ask about, then search again for the answer to my question. At which point, none of the very clear answers I saw in the search results show up. I understand that what seach engines show is complicated and not directly controlled by Adobe and that metatagging etc play into this, and Adobe can't do much about this. But for the search functionality within this community to appear to be so lacking that it doesn'
Ever since the new forums came online, I can't get messages emailed to me. I selected the forums to be sent and I see them listed in the notification page. I check the boxes next to each forum but no messages get through. If I go back to the list, all the checkboxes are unchecked. Any idea what is happening? Latest Win 10 and Firefox
Добрый день! Помогите пожайлуста! Как перенести свое портфолио с Fotolia к себе Adobe? Мой акаунт на фотолии был с ником [personal information removed for your protectionhttps://community.adobe.com/t5/Community-Help/Email-signatures-and-personal-information/td-p/4786467][This is a public forum, not Adobe support, please do not post personal information][If you are posting using email, please turn your 'sig file' function OFF for posting]
I wanted to 'like' a comment someone had made on one of my posts. When trying to click the like icon, nothing happens then the screen redraws again and finally everything works as expected. Not a great user experience!
We have a requirement to add filter in social/qna component. Do we have a detail documentation on api for social framework? If we add a new filter in qna, which api's i need to extend?
Attention rquired.....Recently I was trying to attach idml to my post. But after clicking post button I see this Error message. ThanksSunil
On jive forum it use to show as "Sunil Yadav", But now it has started showing "Sunil_Yadav1".Where does this underscore and numeric 1 came from? How can I fix it? ThanksSunil
Hovering your mouse over a poster's name should give some sort of information about them, because little is shown by default other than the handle and perhaps ACP, MVP, Employee. Otherwise, it takes an extra click and a full page load to look up individual profiles. That's time consuming. Forums readers really need to be able to quickly get a better idea about the folks who have responded. Please bring back hovering profile summaries, as we had in Jive. Thanks!
We used to access Experience Cloud forums via forums.adobe.com, but it looks like that now redirects and all the Experience Cloud solutions are missing. Can this please be rectified quickly?
The URL setup for topics in the new Forums seems a bit "weighty"... https://community.adobe.com/t5/Photoshop/bd-p/photoshop ...where the word "photoshop" actually appears twice, along with some other unusual stuff. Is there any way we could just have something like: community.adobe.com/photoshop ? Just wondering, since we're redefining things.
When you attempt to search the forums and use the filter option it limits results to only 7 posts. For example if you go to the Captivate forums and search "Asset" it shows there are over 1,000 results. If you filter by date it still shows there are over 1,000 results but will only display 7 posts. Happens when running Chrome, or IE on a Win10 computer.
my e-mail login seems to have become disassociated with my community profile. When I tried to log in to the community forums, I was told to create a "new" forum name. I tried to use my existing one — the system told me it was already in use. (yes, I was the one using it.) Long story short, I now have a new profile — one that doesn't contain 7+ years of posts, replies and content. The only change that conceivably affected this we recently (March, '19) switched to Federated/Enterprise licensing. I was already using my company email for my Adobe ID for these forums. Would changing to Enterprise licensing have disassociated that Adobe ID with my forum account? My old profile: https://community.adobe.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/10262443 My new profile is, of course, blank. It would be nice to be able to refer back to posts and topics to which I've been contributing. Again, both these accounts log in with the same email address.
I do not want to receive email notifications from this Forum, I just want to be able to drop by when I have time and get an easy overview of new threads and the new posts to threads I am already following. So for me this Forum’s »My Follows« seems pretty close to useless. Previously one would get an overview which followed threads had unread replies, the threads were sorted by the last replys’ dates, …And the general sorting permanently reverting to »Relevance« does not help either. It’s only been a few days, so with time I may grow accustomed to some of the new Fourm’s features yet, but as far as I am concerned the new Forum incarnation seems uninviting.
Hope this is the right right place to post this folks as I can't seem to find the answer anywhere. Was engaged in a discussion I started on the forums. Anyway a few days went past as I investigated various options given to me by others on that post. Now there's no reply option anywhere so I assume the thread is now locked (which is really annoying). How do I get it unlocked as the issue is still an issue under discussion? Thank you.
I have just had twelve emails about a thread that contains just five replies. Either something is wrong with the system or the poster had problems because they used the quick reply option. I suspect they pressed Enter to complete a paragraph but that posted what they had entered, then they edited the reply. That issue has been reported in the New Forum Issues thread but this shows there's a seriously frustrated user out there who will soon be joined by many others. It took me a while to figure out why I had so many emails and, without the thread title, they were related.
i want to know how to solve this problem
