Hi,Can someone tell me how I can delete my posts and any reply's to them, as people googling the site name can see the posts and my issues. This including a client who is very upset that they can all be seen. Thanks, help needed urgently.Annie
Hi,Regarding to this screen:how it is possible to collect a points with sum other than multiple of 5?is a "possitive feedback" (1 pt) added to some chosen members only?Jarek
Several items:1. I just noticed in the Acrobat forum, when I open a topic list I am in an Overview mode. However, there is no way to go beyond the one page of posts. To get to more posts I have to go to the Content Tab. This looks like a serious oversight on the development of these new forums that I had not noticed before.2. It would also be nice to have a next button for going to the next discussion in a topic list and not have to backup. That used to be the norm, but was never setup in the Jive version of the forums.3. With this latest update, we get taken to the beginning of a discussion, even if we have been there many times. Going to the most recent post seems to be much more natural.4. A lot of the features for bookmarks (mine) and such are impossible to find if there at all. I have bookmarked several things, but have no idea how to find them later. A lot of the menu options that were
I find it nearly unbelievable who terrible this forum system is.I think there is a ton of useful information here, but it is just so difficult to read and follow, it ridiculous.Come on Adobe. I cannot get over the fact that both this forum, and the now horrible ColdFusion Wiki, do not support code formatting in posts. Its such a common feature in other forum systems. Why adobe, why?
Does the translator really work for some? I chose English.
I have just posted a message with an image in this same forum, using IE/Win 7. It was taking too long in loading,so in the meantime I went to my Mac, opened this forum, saw that there was a new post in that thread, so I opened it to find that mine was the new message! And IE was still showing the Loading sign...
I noticed last week that I could no longer log into these forums in IE--it hangs with a script timeout and won't let you enter your login. Oh, well, whatever, I don't need these forums to do my job. If I really care I'll just use FF.Today, I tried to use the API docs, and that hung at loading the filters. You know, the ones that actually let you SEE the content? So none of the properties or methods of the object I was looking for would load, because your stupid docs are set up to restrict what people see based on something most people don't even know about. I get why you do it, but it causes way more harm than good. Especially when your crap is BROKEN. Yeah I said crap.I know that it's fashionable among the startup script kiddies to just decide not to give a rat's if people are using a browser that you're too incompetent to figure out, but really, Adobe, you're an enterprise company. We all get that your heart is still in print and that you don't completely "understand" the web. Howeve
For the past 15 minutes the file claims it is converting the pdf file to word.docx, I need to get this motion in word, like yesterday, and I'm getting nowhere
I don't know if this is the correct forum so please forgive my ignorance. Ive been an Adobe user since 1998 and have occasionally needed advice from support by phone live chat ect. It appears that service my be no longer provided as all roads seem to lead to forums. If support is still around please provide a working link, Thanks in advance for any reply's
One of my replies in a thread is marked "currently being moderated" and doesn't show up unless I'm logged in. What exactly does "being moderated" entail? Has the post been blocked or is it awaiting review? Why would this occur?
Hi,I am not able to install a PFM font file within the Windows 7 font directory.. I have tried by right clicking on the file and 'dragging and dropping' the file, either way I receive an error message indicating that the "file does not appear to be a valid font'. I have full permissions on my machine. The file was sent over as an email attachment, could the file be corrupt? The file is called "GEI_rg.pfm".Thank you!
I thought the Helpful functionality had been eliminated in the current rendition of the forum. Then lo and behold Adobe staffer Steve G today marked one of my posts HELPFUL:Re: Why doesn't my Layer menu look like Julianne's?Is the Helpful indicator simply no longer available to mere mortals?I notice a lot of folks pressing the Like link now, implying they think posts are helpful. Is the Like link actually useful for anything?-Noel
Hi,Guys I think I signed up in 2012.. but vaguely remember I was so traumatized by the design of this forum I left 5mins later ... Ive been here 30mins and now I remember why....My problems!.. sorry to dump but its bad, really bad!1. My name is Brian Gibson and that's the name displayed in in my profile.. I was never given the chance to make a "Tag" name.. So where can I do that? I cant find anything under settings?...2. In my profile I see (please check) that my email is on display for the whole world to see... If so how dare Adobe violate my privacy like that and how do I switch that to hide?.. I cant find anything under setings?...3. I have a stupid ID(?) pic at the top of my screen next to the "Pencil" icon.. I must of set myself once.. how do I change it?... I cant find anything under settings?Any advice most welcomed.. but to be honest I don't know If I'll come back.. This forum structure is just to disgusting to look at another second!... No, Im not new to forums.. I hang
I know this thread will be moved somewhere else, but I have no clue where the "forum bugs" forum is, so I'm posting here in "Premiere" since that is where I hang out most of the time. In the old forums I was able to get in, find the hot issues, either find an answer and get out. Or I could quickly get in and find others who hadn't received help, yet, try to help and get back to work. The primary sorting columns that made this possible were the "number of views" and number of replies. Maybe it was the same column. Either way, if I was wondering whether it was safe to go into the water with the latest release of Premiere Pro, I could quickly log in, sort by the number of repies (high to low) and discover the most vicious, recent bugs Adobe had introduced. If I was feeling altruistic, I could log in, sort by replies (low to high) and find out what issues nobody had resolved, yet. Maybe I could help; maybe I couldn't. How can I get this colum
I can't login to Adobe or the forum using Firefox (v30.0) Mac, which is my main browser. I'm only logged in right now using Safari. Here is a screen shot of the errors in the error console.I see this problem in archived threads, and they seemed to have solved it by disabling the extension HTTPS-Anywhere, but I don't have that extension.

I'd like to propose a change in the posting form. When it comes to stating a problem, I think there should be a sticky on the posting form giving basic directions for asking troubleshooting questions. Yes, we have a "How to ask a question" FAQ, but I'm guessing the flustered user just clicks the Post button without any clue of what would be helpful. A few simple directions such as system details, error messages, and even screenshots (with a link on how to make one) might cut down on the "one sentence no information questions". It would be more efficient that a forum member having to ask for this basic information.I like JJ Mack's brief summary, it should face the user when they click on Start a discussion:The more information you supply about your situation, the better equipped other community members will be to answer. Consider including the following in your question:Adobe product and version numberOperating system and version numberThe full text of any error message(s)What you were
I went to the Forum FAQ page Forum FAQ, and was very surprised by this list of recent discussions:Starting from the 8th FAQ, all are 5 years old, which is hardly "recent" and probably make the answers unusable. Just for testing purposes, I opened the "How can I jump (to) the last message in a thread", and found an April 2009 message by adobe-admin that describes two methods. None of them works in the present version of the forums.
How can I control the email notification process which automatically sends a copy of all replies to each thread in which I am participating?Right now I have taken the process for granted, letting it do it own thing, and am automatically getting email notification for all the threads in whichI am participating. That is OK with me.Due to questions on email notification how to that I have received from others...How would I go about setting up the process so that I could pick and choose which thread replies should be send to me byemail notification? Is there a thread subscription preference somewhere? And, how do I turn on and off email notification altogether if I wanted to do that?Thank you.ATR
IE 11/Win 7: images are inserted at the beginning of the message and not at the cursor position:Also, I have no scrolling bars at the right side of the message window. I could compose my message as I wanted in FF/Win, but lost the scrolling bars and couldn't write anything else after inserting a second image.
When you upload a profile photo, there is no information about the actual size in pixels x pixels, which is crucial when you use PNG og GIF files for crispness. Earlier, the size seemed to be 320 x 320 pixels. The format has also changed from square to something like 4:3 (width to height), so the bottom part of your old profile photo/image from before the latest change has been cut off.In addition, it seems impossible to get the same brightness in colours, as if there is some strange colour management or conversion. It would be nice to have some specific updated information on how to get it right.
All is in the title : my name appears on all adobe forums although I asked my profile not to do it...Thanks
What should have been post #9 in this thread,Illustrator Says "Missing Font" Whereas InDesign Detects and Uses Same Font Okayseems to have vanished, with the reference to it in the OP as the only trace.I wonder whether this is a new forum wonder.
I had a long trail of discussions with very valuable and appreciated information from knowledgeable forum users that I would go back to from time to time to refresh my memory. However, with the change of the forum's format I can't seem to find a link to my discussions. Help, please!
