Would you guys think this pc is good and strong enough to run Adobe premiere pro without issues? I don't know much about PCs and idk how to build my own. Would appreciate any comments thank you all!    [Moderator note: moved to appropriate forum.]

I would like some help in deciding what to upgrade/purchase a new system to run Premiere & After effects.  Currently I have an i5 2 core 4 thread 2.7 i5-4570TE, 32 gig memory. GTX 1050ti 4gb graphics card, 2 500 gig hdd's 7200rpm's.   

Hi! I have a i7 7700 - with 32GB Ripjaws RAM and a GTX1060(running a 32" 4k BenQ display.) Rendering a simple cut video from perepere thats 5 min long at 1080p 60fps takes about 60 hours.I look at task manager, zero of GPU is used. I know there's been some similar threads about this and possible weaker CPU's but I feel like I should not have this issue... anything I can do?  

Hi, I am planning to buy a new laptop and found HP Spectre X360, Intel core i7- 1065G7 10th gen, 13-inch 4K UHD screen , RAM 16GB, Intel Iris Plus graphics, 1TB SSD and 32 GB Intel Optane. I was wondering if Intel Iris Plus graphics would work well with Adobe softwares such as Photoshop, Indesign, Illustrator, After Effects, and XD?

Help! I have done a ton of research and just can't pull the trigger on a purchase for a new monitor. The basic requirements are obvious as a designer — high resolution, 32-inch size or thereabouts, and good color accuracy. I need to be able to connect to my Macbook Pro. I want something that lasts and has clarity throughout the whole screen, doesn't flicker or get dead pixels after a month (per disappointing reviews, thus my pause to buy so far...). Anyone have one they totally love? Thanks!

I  have a Creative Cloud Photography plan and want to retain my images on both a Thunderbolt external hard drive and an external SSD. I travel away from home for a couple months each year and want to bring an exact copy of the Thunderbolt drive on the SSD for use while I'm away from home. It's much lighter to carry and I'm carrying too much stuff already. I use 'Super Duper' as backup software and a MacBook Pro for computer.. What I imagine doing is traveling with the SSD and adding to it as I photograph and also continue to work with my existing images. Then when I return home I can copy the SSD onto the Thunderbolt drive. I will then, on that day, have two drives with the identical contents. I can imagine some further refinement of my overall back up strategy.I converted to the new plan for Adobe in April 2018 and find my back up dated October 2017 appears to have a different file structure with the 2018 drive displaying the data under date headings with the 2017 drive displayin

Hi,I am looking for a decent hardware for photo/video editing. Please advise.Following is my main spec.1. Intel i5 10th gen 10400 ( 6 core, 12 threads, 12 Mb cache, 2.9 ghz base frequency)2. 8 gb ram ddr43. 1 TB HDD (7200 rpm) + 256 GB SSD4. NVIDIA GTX 4GB 1660 (Ti or super) GPU gddr6 Some say that 9600k is better with 1660 GPU , some say i5 10400 maynot support gtx 1650 or 1660. But 9600k has no hyperthreading, so its 6 core, 6 thread with 9 m cache, and higher power of 95 W. (30 W more than i5 10400) How does it all depend on chassis power supply ?Is 260 watt psu enough for above spec ? Thanks in advance.

I'm looking to upgrade my graphics card to improve Adobe Premiere performance. Hi, I recently built a (very modest) editing/3d workstation pc:ryzen 7 2700 (all cores overclocked to 4.1GHz)32gb 3466MHz RAMGTX 1650 Super m.2 SSD as system drive (MyDigitalSSD BPXP 256GB)SATA SSD for various media (WD Blue 500GB) Bottom line: I'm trying to encode a 1080p (H.264) video with a very low bitrate (0.4 MB/s) and a very low sound quality - It's a reccording of a 4-hour online class that I'm trimming down, and with these settings it is only expected to be around 900MB.I set it to hardware encoding with 1 pass. While encoding, my CPU usage is ~15%~ and GPU is ~55%~. Memory is at about 10GB usage (out of 32GB)My SSD is writing at ~10 MB/s~ when I try software encoding the CPU constantly jumps between 20-80% and rendering time is 2x longer... Is the SSD bottlenecking the system due to multiple small writes it can't handle?  

Purchasing a laptop for college and I just need to be sure about it. How well would this one be able to handle Adobe CC 2019? The laptop Specs:CPU: Intel i7-4600u2 cores, 2.1GHz each; Turbo 2.7GHz dual and 3.3GHz single.RAM: 16GBGPU: Intel HD 4400Storage: 256GB SSD I'd rather be sure about this before I waste money on something that won't be much use. If theres better suggestions, I'd love to hear. On a budget too.

Hello, I am in need of purchasing a new computer as adobe recently stopped supporting the graphics card in my older dell laptop. Before buying something new (likely an older MacBook to work on for now) I wanted to make sure this problem didn't occur again for at least a while so I can save up for something newer. Will a 15" MacBook Pro 2013/14/15 still be supported for a while? As far as the graphics card goes, everywhere I look it just says "integrated GPU" with no specifics. So if possible, I'm also asking for any details on what is already installed. thank you!! 

I want to instal a gpu in my pc for after effect 4k60 fps video edting(animation). can anyone help to chose what gpu will be good enough for my currect config and is there any suggestion plz let me know ?  GPU bugget only $350 max. Hi guys,  Need some assistance from those who have more knowledge than me on Adobe Premiere and After effects. Please bear with me as i am quite at the beggining with Adobe (both premiere and after effects). I want to get a good base hardware for both Premiere and After Effects and i don't really have the base specs (beside adobe sys. requirements that are not that clear). So, in short i want to use Premiere and After effects in 4K mode. What hardware do i need ? My build is not made yet as i don't know what to choose these days.  Base hardware will be Z840 from HP - but this supports only Xeon !?! What CPU should i add? Intel i7/i9 vs Xeon E5? I assume that 4-6 core would be a minimum. It is better to have dual CPU or single ?  - i read that latest adobe versions benefit from higher clocks than number of cores. RAM: 32Gigs minimum (this is clear)Storage: 256GB SSD for OS + 1TB SSD for projects. Hello, I bought a Dell with an MX230 and was hoping to run Premiere Pro. I have looked up the drivers  mentioned in this forum on another thread and there is nothing between versions 442.74 and 445.87 in game ready drivers. The 442.92 that was suggested is only available as a a studio driver. I am a little confused as to what to use since the other thread said to use only a game ready driver as no studio drivers would work. I did post on that thread as well, but it is 6 months old so didn't know if I would get a reply. I haven't received the computer yet and am thinking about returning it. This may be one for Adobe Community Professionals ? - or anyone who has implemented/upgraded to the new Intel 10th generation CPU's in a Desktop.I'm currently using Intel 9900K overclocked and now editing most stuff  in 4K 25or 50fps.Using hybrid edit approach with ProRes 422 previews and generating final master in Pro Res 422.Some exports/features eg Warp stabiliser are very slow. Snail like.Machine runing all on latest Drivers and Intel Graphics Driver.I see no Adobe  info about any new efficiency drives to improve speed of Premiere Pro - just more feature stuff weighing it down.Can anyone enlighten me? - eg is it worth upgrading your CPU to these latest devices with Premiere Pro 14.x series yet , or just a waste of money ?.

Hi Everyone, I hope that I posted my issue in the right place. I've a PC built with AMD Ryzen 3800X 8-Core Processor 3.89 GHs, 32 GB RAM and GTX 2070 Super GPU. My problem is that the regular & ram preview is too slow. I know that my PC is more than enough to handle AE because I use other 3D programs and they are working fine. I so other topicts with some tips to faster the preview but nothing helped me. One of the topics suggested that I enable the Multiprocessing option in the memory tab. However, I can't understand why I can't find this option! Is it an option available for Intel processorts only? Or there is another issue that I can't find it or solve it? Please I need your help ASAP. Regards,

Just purchased this Computer a few days ago mainly for at home video editing and thought this would be the perfect graphics card. Boy was I wrong. Cuda drivers downloaded, tried every trick online to get that GPU acceleration red bar to go away. Simple drag and drop transitions on small clips are not working. i9 processor, 32gb ram. Help.
