I want to make sure before I purchase a new MacBook Pro with the M3 chip that it's compatible with Adobe CC.

Hi There,I have a reasonably recent Ryzen computer which i built for video editing. My issue is that in Adobe Permiere Pro will only utilise around 30% max but generally sits around 20% on the CPU and no more than 3% on the GPU (i understand that GPU is generally only used for certain effects, transitions). Encoding takes ages! Hello, I am experiencing persistent issues with my After Effects including really bad lagging, preview problems, and ridiculous rendering times. i already have tried all this issue solution that i can found on youtube, such as purging caches and implementing recommended fixes and all that, I have not been able to resolve the issues.I am using an external SanDisk SSD, with all my caches and After Effects files saved on it. However, I am encountering difficulties even saving files to the SSD, as I am receiving the error message: "After Effects error: file not found." My computer specs are m3 Pro processor, 18GB RAM, 11-core CPU, and 14 GPU. Does anyone have any suggestions or solutions to address these issues? 

I have an RTX A4000 (Ampere) and am considering a hardware upgrade to something on the higher end of the 'gaming' GPU's like the 4080 Super or 4080 or 4090.I originally went with the A4000 because I liked the workstation-focused approach, small size, high VRAM and low energy consumption. But I'm wondering if these workstation perks are lost on Premiere Pro editing? And I'm wondering how the low clocks speeds & average CUDA count of the A4000 impact editing in PP vs a high end gaming GPU.Anyone have any thoughts?Mostly editing native 4K, no proxies. Hi,I have an Acer laptop with Intel 630 and NVidia GTX1060 6GB. CPU is i7 7700HQ.However I noticed that while encoding videos in PPro CC 2019, it only uses the Intel 630. I have tried many methods to get it to use the NVidia, but all failed.The video I'm encoding was taken with GoPro Hero7 in 4K. It has 13 files, a total length of nearly 2 hours. So the task is to join them into one and exporting in 4K.When exporting, the Intel 630 usage would surge to 100% (in 3D) and stay up there, CPU is around 20%-30%, but the 1060 would stay at 0% - 5%, basically not getting any work at all.I updated drivers for both CPU to the latest. Made sure in Media Encoder, AE and PPro that all set the encoder to CUDA - no help.If I disable the Intel GPU, then PPro put all work load on the CPU and choking it.I also tried in NVidia's PhysX settings, forcing the 1060 to be default GPU for PPro, and 1060 to be the CUDA GPU, still no good.Tried the method in other posts, which is to disable the Intel 630, then r

So do i get this correct? When using ryzen 9 7950X with the newest premiere pro, dGPU souch as Intel Arc a770 wont be used for rendering nor de-/encoding because of the igpu in the cpu?Is this still the situation in january 2024? Adobe?

Is there any head-to-head comparison of Intel with iGPU versus no-iGPU Intel processors in terms of performance impact in Premiere Pro?Please share a link. PS: I know what K,KF,F and *empty* stand for, no need for explanation here, I just need some tests proving the effectiveness of Intel iGPUs as compared to no-iGPU porcessors of the same class, having the same name. And no AMD needed either.

Hello everyone, so I am returning to this forum after a while, I had really wonderful experiences with all the knowledgeable folks in the past, and I have a geeky question that some of you might fun to answer, and if not don't worry:) I have a late 2013 11,3 MacBook Pro (2.6GHz and 16GB RAM) - I realise it is an old machine, but I do not have the money to upgrade. I am starting to work on a feature documentary (not as the main editor but will be doing some footage pulls etc.). We will be editing with 1080p proxies, but there is already about 500gb of footage and it might even go up to 4tb. My question is this - I want to try and finish the project with my current MacBook (which might be just about possible) - and I am trying to figure out the best set up in terms of transfer speeds, read/write etc. I think the best way forward would be buying a 4tb SSD HDD - but the computer only has two Thunderbolt 2 ports and two USB3.0. Will Premiere Pro run on the new Macbook Air with M1 chip?

I regret having sold my tangent ripple some years ago as it was not compatible to all NLEs back then. Now I am going back to premiere and I need a hardware panel. Is Tangent Ripple still the best option in Premiere? I you really use the tracker balls I think you have to work in the "Match" Lumetri Panel as it offers those corresponting three balls BUT I see the "creative LUT" is placed above this panel. So if I work in SLOG and have to apply a creative LUT AFTER my correction I cannot use this Match-Panel in the same Lumetri Panel and have to apply a second lumetri-effect, is that right? Does this cause any other issues? Some users reported issues when they had two lumetri effects applied..

The last time I upgraded my editing computer was 8 years ago. Other than 1 power supply and a few graphic gard upgrades it has run Adobe products with no problems. That is because I get the best possible heart for the system, at the time that I can get, the processor. Not one that works or is good but is the best. I am now geting "Not copatible" with v24 upgrades for Premiere Pro, Affter Effects, Audition, and Media Encoder due to the processor. I am a big Intel fan so, I am asking for sugestion as to what would be the BEST process to have Dell put into my new next gereration Adobe computer.

He will be graduating college soon and will start looking for freelance work. He will be using Premiere, AfterEffects, and Photoshop. I am a Mac person, and cannot advise him well. Hi, Kids! To get to the point:Any experiences running Adobe CC on a PC with a Mac OS?I need to run After Effects & Premiere simultaneously at a minimum.  - It would be nice to add an open browser and Illustrator or Media Encoder in there, to. 64 MB RAM is my target. Might even go to 96 if it keeps my blood pressure lower 😉  The back story: I got sucked into switching to Mac products because my support team on a feature documentary uses Mac. I made a terrible choice. The Apple "experience" is all marketing B.S. IMO - especially since I was lied to at the time of purchase that I could upgrade my RAM. This is where I am stuck: 16 MB RAM and no way to go up. 2 CC Applications crashes me mutliple time daily. PCs are sooooo much more affordable, like 1/2 as expensive with similar configurations. I'm looking at requiring a new laptop no matter what, simply to get more RAM. Anyone? Beuller?

Hello. I'm very much a beginner when it comes to understand whats making my computer run, especially when exporting videos so please be patient with me. I know there are many threads about CPU and GPU but I got lost looking through them all.My problem:Premiere is set to "Mercury Playback Engine GPU Acceleration (CUDA)" but when I check usage the CPU is being utlised more than the GPU. This question was asked in an earlier thread, but the thread is several years old. I have the latest version of Adobe Premiere Pro, but my laptop is too old to handle Premiere Pro. I would like to know if anyone can recommend a laptop that is reasonably priced and can handle Adobe Premiere Pro. I am on a tight budget and the ones that are recommended by internet gurus are too expensive for me.

What exactly is the L3 cache memory? and also, what other tasks is the L3 cache memory specifically targeted? and for example what would be the difference from a 12mb L3 cache CPU to a 128mb L3 cache CPU like the ryzen 9 7950x3d thank you 😄
