Acrobat Reader

I'm following instructions that basically say "Click Edit > Analysis > Measuring Tool" and illustrates it with screenshots from an apparently different version of the reader. The screenshot shows Analysis between Protection and Accessibility, but I don't see it there in my installation.

I am facing this below error.Can someone please help me with this.There is a problem with Adobe/Reader. If it it running, Please exit and try again. (10:10)

Hi all, Over the past month or so, I lost the ability to copy text from PDF files (Ctrl + C). Right clicking and choosing "Copy" also does not work. If I go into Excel and "Paste" (Crtl + V), nothing happens.  I can, however, right click and choose "Copy With Formatting," which is confusing. I can paste it into Excel. It makes me think the issue is not PDF protection or anything. I checked "Security (Enhanced)" in Preferences and confirm that "Protected Mode" is disabled. Can somebody please advise?   Thank you.

Hello, I created a fillable form on Adobe Acrobat using my PC, after filling the form and trying to submit it, it brought up "Adobe Acrobat could not submit your data. Please see Tracker for more information". I have gone to the tracker but I cannot see anything regarding the error. Please how do I solve this issue?I have attached a snapshot below.

While using the full screen feature, the continuous scrolling feature which is there in non-full screen mode is not working properly. While scrolling, the page moves to the next page at the half of scrolling.

I cannot install Adobe Reader 11 under Windows 8.I have tried with both Internet Explorer and Firefox.In both cases, the OS prompts me with "Do you want to allow the following program to make changes?", I select "Yes". I am never prompted for anything after this.I see Adobe Reader Installer (32 bit) running in my task manager, the install_reader11_en_mssd_aih.exe file disappears from my downloads directory and the installer hangs until I kill it or reboot.I am running Windos 8 64 bit, and I have Adobe Air, Photoshop Elements 9 and Photoshop Inspiration Browser already installed.

When I use Acrobat Reader the windowborder of my program disappears.    - When files are opened, but no file is selected, everything works fine.   - When I'm reading a file, the windowborder of the program disappaers. See attachment Acrobat Version: Continuous Release | Version 2023.003.20284 | 64-bit

Hi - a few users have newer windows 10 computers, 8GB of RAM and seem fast overall. However, when attempting to change the printer inside of Adobe Acrobat reader, there is a 10 second lag delay, sometimes longer. Is there a fix for this? I updated the OS and drivers. I also re-installed the printers.

I am trying to print an order form which has boxes ticked and information that our customer has entered.  It shows up when I open the file in Acrobat, but when I print it the ticks and writing are not there.  Can someone please let me know how to fix this problem!

Hi,Recently, I got "access denied" error while I was trying to access the documents that I stored in Adobe Cloud Storage from the Adobe services menu. Tried to clean the cache and using different brower, and different end devices(iPad, MacOS,iPhone). All have the same error report with my personal account. My personal account is a msn email account, and doesn't belong or link any school account.Could someone can help me with this issue, as I checked all "access denied" with Adobe Cloud Storage in community. Looks mine is different with others.TIA,Michael

I have Reader on several computers that have never seen Acrobat and there is no Try Acrobat Pro in the title.    I have a computer where I had Acrobat Pro installed. Unfortunately Adobe has seen fir to charge me $600 for the 2023 - 2024 subscription for Acrobat. I uninstalled Acrobat, restarted and installed Reader (like all my other computers).   It asks me to Try Acrobat Pro every time I launch Reader. Hi!I work a lot with PowerPoint and most of my work is converted into PDF files.  I'm still able to converted my work, but when I open the PDF file, the name you can see in the program is always: Presentation PowerPoint, even if I saved it with another name.What am I doing wrong???

Hallo, ich habe ein neues MAcbook Pro mit der neuesten IOS Versich und einen Brother DCP-9022CDW als Drucker. Nun möchte ich gerne eine pdf direkt aus dem Acrobat Reader drucken.Wenn ich dies tue möchte er diese pdf Datei als MPEG durcken! Dies dauert natürlich ewig.Wenn ich die gleiche pdf aus Safari drucke, druckt er eine pdf. Weiß jemand wei man dem Acobat Reader sagt, er soll keine MPEG (eine Musiddatei!!!) drucken, sondern eine pdf?Hab den Drucker mehrfach de- und wieder installiert, wie auch den Reader. Danke für Eure Antworten 

A recent update on Reader changed the format and panel colours. How can I change the default setting for panel colours on a MacOS Monterrey? It's currently a light grey colour but I prefer the darker grey colour that could be found in earlier versions.   Thanks

Hello, I have a large PDF that has many links in it that link to other pages within the document. For example, it has a table of contents with links to the various pages throughout and a home button on each page to take you back to the table of contents page. The links work perfectly in the desktop version of Acrobat Reader. I added a link to the document on our website, but when you open it from the website it opens the PDF in the browser version of Acrobat Reader and the links go to the wrong pages. The links still take you to a different page, but it takes you to one page off of where it is supposed to go. Why is this happening?

We are running into an unusual situation with multiple documents at our agency.  When viewing the properties>security with Adobe Reader, it shows that a couple of items are locked. The documents should not have any security on them.  In a couple of situations, the locked documents were actually flattened forms that were created by printing to a new PDF.  Adobe Reader is the only PDF reader that show this security.  Adobe Acrobat Pro does not - nor do other non-Adobe products. Versions that we are running: Acrobat Pro 2023.003.20201Reader 2023.001.20143   

I have made a stamp with a basic signature from a scan of the paper/ink signature saved as PNG, resized to the correct image proportions, and imported into Adobe Acrobat and it works fine. I now needed to add this to just Adobe reader on other pcs to just stamp on received invoices, reader has no picture option only pdf but the correctly sized image is huge as a stamp and although can be resized its a total pain each time. There seems to be zero tools in reader to do anything with the stamp to make it the correct size and all of the guides are only for Acrobat which doesn't need them. How can I get this signature onto a pdf and then used at a sensible size in Reader? it shouldnt be this difficult and should just save the size you make it.

Bonjour, J'ai un problème très dérangeant quand j'annote ou commente un pdf sur adobe reader. Les touches "é" et "2" ne fonctionnent pas souvent pas, m'obligeant à copier ces caractères à l'extérieur d'adobe pour les coller dans celui-ci. Le problème ne se limite pas là, car souvent ces touches me sortent par exemple du commentaire que je rédigeai pour m'ouvrir une nouvelle anotation créée au hasard dans le document. Ou alors elles font carrément crasher le document et perdre mes annotations. Mais parfois, elles marchent sans problème le temps d'un commentaire. Je rencontre ce problème avec deux ordinateurs totalement différents et avec des documents différents. Est-ce un bug connu ? Merci d'avance

It may be a goofy question, but it has driven me INSANE. When using the Rectangle tool, If you go to change the color, the first option is "Fills." Is there any way to flip this so the first option is "Borders" instead? Or at least a way to add the "No Color" option on the quick select colors? I accidentally change the fill color almost every time, and then I have to go into properties and change it to No Color and then change it to default. I do not know why but I just keep making that same mistake over and over again.
