I am using the free Adobe 2023.003-20244 on Windows 10. It presents the the following: (1) The docment at the centre(2) There is a left pane for "All tools", "Edit", "Convert", and "Sign"(3) There is a right pane for Bookmarks. I mostly don't use the panes, so I use the GUI to close them.I routinely open multiple files in succession, however, so I end up mousing around to close both panes for each and every document. It turns a simple task of inspecting many documents into an error-prone tedium. Is there a hot key that I can use to close the two panes? Additionally, is it possible to open PDF documents with the panes closed by default?
Hello Adobe, I bought your PDF export programme over a year ago, it's never been accessible to me (I need it to be simple ie. I buy = it's usable without going through lots of processes). It is coming up for renewal 12th Sept, I also can't find how to cancel the subscripion. Please can you look into this for me and sort out one way or the other. Thank you.
Have tried multiple times to install Acrobat DC. it seems to complete, but will not open. Some of the time the Chrome extension works. Have tried the cleaner, but not to sure what cleaner to uses. Have Win7 on a PC and Acrobat just stopped working awhile ago, and have tried to download DC with no success.Should I delete all the references to Adobe and Arcobat in the registers? Am at my wits end. HELP!!!!!
Hi, We have been receiving this error and from researching, there seems to be quite a few posts about it but not much of a fix although this is an issue with Adobe so I'm hoping someone can help. We recieve this error when trying to open some PDF's for example, when opening a PDF from a USB or one downloaded from OneDrive (A full copy downloaded, not a sync'd version) If we try to open these same files with a different PDF reader, it works without issue. In the case of the USB, if we move the files to the PC/Laptop then it works so I'm assuming this is some sort of security option within Adobe to not open files from unknown sources maybe? Either way, the files are not corrupt and are definitely PDF's as they work in other readers. Is there any advice or fix for this?
I am trying to make a custom stamp but when I select the .jpg or .tif file the viewer shows nothing. I can't select OK because it is grayed out. Please Help.
Hello!I have a simple document text.docx created in the Word 2019, with two fonts - Cambria and Cambria Bold. I've saved it into PDF (File->Save As .pdf): text.pdf.When I open it in the Adobe Reader (currently, I'm using the latest version 2023.003.20244), and then click View->Tools->Comments->Open I get the error:Sometimes (3 attempts from 10) this error isn't shown.Note: to see the error again, you need to close the PDF and exit from the Adobe Reader. Why does this error occur? Adobe Acrobat Preflight checking doesn't find any issues with fonts:
I recently updated to Windows 11 and can no longer "combine files" in file explorer as I could in Windows 11. While checking for updates to see if that resolved the problem, I received Error 111100 - "An error occurred. Please check for updates again later." There is no recent information on what this error is or how to resolve it. Please help.
Hi,We have a pdf with over 60 custom stamps which we can import into Acrobat Pro X, but is there a way to import these stamps into Acrobat Reader DC in one go?I can see that there is an option to import each stamp individually but to save time I'd like to import them all in one go. Is this possible, or is it restricted to the paid version of acrobat?Regards,John
Hi We have issues with displaying thai font in Adobe reader, this occurs on at least 2 computerswe use the latest updated version of Adobe Reader which is 2023.xxxx The Thai font is not displaying correctly, see screenshot below, on other apps such as chrome, the Thai letters are shown correclty. I found a font pack for these asian languages, however it's only available for 2022.xxx versions, when I tried installing it, of course it did not solve the problem as it's not the correct version.Do we have to use an older version of adobe for that ? Is there any other solution ?
I am using Windows 11 and Chrome. I have adobe reader installed. When I go to open a pdf file from a website it only gives me the option to 'save'. I have checked settings in Windows and Chrome. I have removed and reinstalled Adobe reader. This used to work fine. It also does this if I switch to the Edge browser.
We have adobe reader on a few PCs, all cannot print from Adobe to their allocated printers. The printer makes vary. I am able to print PDFS using different software it just appears to be Adobe Reader which is having an issue. I've tried a reinstall and carrying out updates. Has anyone else come across this issue?
i am in the u.k. and have changed the language and keyboard options, but this is a pain to convert ESPECIALLY AS INCHES SUBDIVIDE TO FRACTIONS not a decimal point. There are 12 inches in a foot, not 10! I was brought up on inches, but I have to cope with centimetres now. ☹
I am an office administrator. I want some of my co-workers to use Acrobat Reader without having to log into our Adobe account. If Acrobat Reader is free, as it has always been, why does Abobe require the user log into thier account?
Hi Adobe Support I work for a fairly large organization and with the update to Adobe Acrobat Reader 2020.005.30362 (classic track) we encountered an issue with verifiying signing certificates. Under EDIT>:Preferences>Signatures>Verification -> Click "More" At the bottom of this window is the Windows Integration section where you can set Reader to search the Windows Store for validating signatures. ->THIS FEATURE IS NOT WORKING WHEN PROTECTED MODE IS TURNED ON! This feature should still work with Protected Mode turned on. We had to manually import our trusted root certificate. We have major concerns if we start asking each user to do this. Questions: 1. I know there is a Known issue close to this but it is poorly worded on the Adobe Website . It reads : Problem: Unable to digitally sign a PDF in the browser when Protected Mode is enabled in Acrobat Reader on Windows 10 version 20H2. [4325829]Can more informat
I am being charged for Adobe Acro Pro and when I go into my account, there is no plan there for this. If there is no plan and I am being charged, how do I cancel the plan? Thanks! Jane

Problem: A blank screen is visible at the top of the Acrobat window. When using Mac OS, you might encounter a situation where a blank window overlays the Acrobat application window, preventing the closure of Acrobat. This problem seems to arise on Mac OS setups that include dual monitors, especially when one of these monitors is a retina display. Follow these instructions to address the issue: While the blank screen is in focus, press the "Esc" key. Detach the secondary monitor, then relaunch Acrobat. Additional information In a setup where you have two monitors, one of them being a Retina display (high-quality) and the other a regular display (non-High DPI), an issue arises with the appearance of Acrobat dialog boxes. These dialog boxes, where you perform actions like opening files or adjusting settings, become distorted on the regular display. As a result, us
This software is bloated. Trying to use the features advertised and it wants me to activate. Then tells me I am already activated, but still cannot use any features Every step of this program either throws you to the subscription page or useless help pages. Who designed this software. Siging in was a nightmare, forced me to change passwords, needed 3 verfication codes 2 from my main email and 1 from a backup.Brother in Christ this software is awful, do people actually pay for this run around?
