In the past several weeks, when receiving a pdf via email, I am requested to sign in to my acct. to access Adobe Reader to open the document. Why now, when it was always an automatic process prior to? It's an irritant to constantly have to do so..
I have tried everything. I can't quit the program, I can't restart my computer "because Acrobat Reader is running" and I can't delete the program since it is open. What are my options?

There is an attack surface reduction rule we wish to establish in our environment, that is meant to block Adobe Reader from creating child processes. This appears to be very easy in InTune, but InTune is not ready for production. Therefore, GPO is the choice. Is there an ADMX template I can use, or any guidance on how the policy might be created?
I would like to save more ink (more than 15% in my case). Are there any settings I could change to do it?
Hello,Since the update of Adobe Acrobat Reader DC to version 19.008.20071, I have troubles when I print my PDF (white corners of square appear everywhere in my documents). The trouble occurs only when I print the document, not when I open it.I have followed all the instructions that I found in this page : https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/troubleshoot-pdf-printing-acrobat-reader.html but it still doesn’t work. When I choose the option to “print as an image”, white squares disappear but the colours are awful so I’m obliged to adjust the parameters of my printer to try to be in keeping with the original as far as possible (and it’s never possible !).Then, I thought the problem occurred because my PDF contains rasterized images and vector images so I rasterized all the images of my file. After that, when I printed my document the “white squares” had disappeared but the colours of the new rasterized elements were bad. I just would like my old Acrobat Reader DC which was perfect for readin
After having updated Acrobat Reader DC (v 20035), if I try to print a pdf document, I now get a message saying "The document could not be printed " and when I click OK I get a new message saying "There was an error in printing the document"....no other information is provided. All other programmes are printing normally. (Excel, Word etc)I have Windows 7 OS and a FujiXerox CP115W and also an old Cannon MP250 printer on the system. Neither can print .pdf now.I updated the driver software on the CP115 but it made no difference.Any suggestions?
I understand that with using Adobe Acrobat Reader DC, I should have certain functions at my disposal such as the "combine pdfs" function "organise pages" function and such other functions, correct?. I only have the very basic functions available. Is it possible to obtain access to such functions? This is not my personal laptop but my work laptop.
I'm trying to open a file I've used many times in the past and printed out... but it's been probably 5-6 years sine the last time. It's now giving me this error: "Cannot extract the embedded font 'JNNCFD+CTHeiTiSF'. Some characters may not display or print correctly." I tried to go through some of the other similar posts in past discussion threads, but could not find a resolution to this that allowed me to view what's there. I understand the font may have been embedded incorrectly at some point, but a lot of people were previously able to open this, so I'm hoping there's a way to still do that somehow! Thanks! -J

I have been getting this issue off and on for the past month. Ive tried all the fixes ive seen on the forums, most of them saying to uninstall and reinstall the program. Ive gone into the registry to fully delete every bit of it I can, ive tried messing with the default printer and other things as well. I am simply out of ideas and I need help.

Hello, I have around threehundred of users who will use a qualified timestamping server in Adobe Reader. I successfully set up some registry values in Group Policy, so I'm able now to send the required server parameters to the group member users. Is there any way to set this server to the "Default" timestamping server also with Windows registry or with something else but not manually one-by-one? What I use now: [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Adobe\Acrobat Reader\DC\Security\cPPKHandler\cTimeStampServers\c0]"bAuthRequired"=dword:00000001"tLockboxId"="encrypted_blahblah""tName"="justaname""tServer"="justaserver"Source: https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/PrefRef/Windows/Security.html Thank you.
We cannot verify digital sign in Acrobat Reader, because of Internet restrictions in our organization.Which domain, ip and ports should we unblock on UTM firewall? When Internet is in full access everything is ok. greetsDarek
Back in 2014 we I disabled sharepointservices in Acrobat Reader for all users via GPO.Using this reg entry: [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Adobe\Acrobat Reader\11.0\FeatureLockDown\cSharePoint]"bDisableSharePointFeatures"=dword:00000001 Even though the reg is for version 11 of Acrobat Reader the change carried over to DC with no change to the reg in GPO.Now when I need to enable sharepoint services again I can't.Deleting the reg entry on the local mashince does not change anything.Changing the 1 to a 0 in "bDisableSharePointFeatures" does nothing. Is this setting no longer changeable in the registry once it has been set?
I am using the Free Version of the Adobe Reader.I have a fillable PDF document. After i fill it out i want to signature it and save it read only. On the computer thats workling without a problem. But i need the same function on an Android Tablet. After signature i get the message, that the document ist readonly after saving it. I have a paid subscription that includes Adobe Acrobat DC Pro. I am on the desktop app and do not have access to the "Prepare Form" tool. Overall, these are the only tools I have:
I created a form and wanted to set up an email button in the form that would open the email address and the form with attachment as an email. This only works with Adobe Reader 32 bit and Adobe Reader 64bit does not work since the last update. Can you look at this, it affects all users. This is more of an update issue with 64 bit as it works fine with 32 bit with latest update.
I have a user that every time he reboot i get this message :adobe acrobat could not open "send toOneNot.link.isxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx because it is either not supported file type etc....not sure why Thanks
