Acrobat Reader

I created my digital ID using Adobe Reader and it was stored in Window's trusted location (in 'Personal' folder). I can sign a PDF form, sent to me from a third pary, by using Adobe Reader. My digital ID with date and time is printed in the designated box when I sign my digital ID by using my private password.But when I attach the signed form/document to an email to that third party, they inform that they can't verify my digital signature. My question: Is it possible to digitally sign a PDF document by using Adobe Reader?Your response would be much appreciated. Hello together, we do have an operating manual and in this documents there are some links to other pdf-files in other folder. By clicking the link, the link pathway is showing up and it is asked if the linked document is trustful. After the confirming nothing happens anymore. So in the end the linked file is not opening up. All documents are opening up by opening in the normal way. Do you have any idea, what could be the problem. This problem just showed up since 2 months, before it worked well. Best regards,Dominik

 Hi, I am receiving this error message when trying to install Adobe Acrobat DC on my Mac Monterey. As suggested in other threads, I have tried to both reboot and power down my machine but it still will not install. Some help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

A client is making changes to a report where three authors have added their opinions on making changes - these appear ok in the comments pane on the right. In some cases, my client has read threough and decided no chnage is required. However, when she deletes the comment thread for it, it disappears in the pane but the yellow highlight remains on the page itself. She has tried deleting on the page but it won't budge. So it's making it a little messy to know what is needed when highlights appear but no instructions! She has resorted to adding 'No action' on each but it would be useful to know how to clear the comment highlight. I use Acrobat Pro my end but the same issue is there - I can't take off the highlight either. Any help much appreciated.

Hello,I use Adobe X for simple booking forms and i save them as Reader Enabled to allow the user to save the completed form. Suddenly, I can't save any of the forms as Reader Enabled.All worked fine before. Now none of them do, all give the same message "This document could not be Reader Enabled" but no clue why. I've tried reinstalling Adobe, and tried it on a different PC. Nothing seems to make any difference.

After downloading a file, no comments are showing, but only for me. Others in the company can download the same file, the exact same way and comments are showing. When I pull up another saved pdf previously used, it shows comments so I don't believe it's in my Adobe confiuration. 

I am creating a family book with Stroyworth. I have many,many pictures. They have suggested that I use a software like yours which I have on my computer, to help me to arrange the photos on the page. If I do this, how do I get the Acrobat product over on the Storyworth wbsite?Ann

I have both Adobe Reader and Acrobat Pro on my PC. I prefer opening pdfs with the Reader, as the Pro asks me to log into my account every single time I open it, which is highly annoying, so I only use it when I really need it.However, recently Adobe Reader "stopped working" in that any time I try and open a pdf with the reader, it instead opens in Pro. I have set Adobe Reader as the default program for pdfs, but that didn't help. Even if I right-klick and specifically select "open with -> Adobe Reader", it instead opens in Adobe Pro.What else can I try???

I had a trial of Adobe Pro which was way too expensive for our limited needs. Now I cannot use Adobe Reader as I used before getting involved with Adobe Pro. Always as a default, my Mac opens the Pro version which prompts to upgrade.I really regret having tried Adobe Pro; it's really annoying.Is there a way to get completely rid of Adobe? I promise never to try Pro version again.

We are working on automating the reading and extraction of information from some forms in ".pdf". But we have encountered a limitation: when they are signed and printed as PDF (from the Print > Printer: Microsoft Print to PDF option), the fields are blocked and their content cannot be accessed. Is there a way to unlock these fields with a Pro or Advance license? Or to reverse that effect caused by printing as PDF?

I can open a number of pdf files, except secured. If I attempt to open a secured pdf, (specifically, the paystub I downloaded from my employer),Some of it renders, then a blue bubble appears mid screen (no text - maybe it's supposed to be an error message?) and seconds later, the whole app closes without explanation. All tabs, everything. Poof, closed. How do I fix this?

I have a Porblem using Adobe Reader. The case is, while opening a PDF first time in Adobe Reader Webbrowser Plugin the Message: "Test Writable APPDATA "Schriebzugriff verboten Anwendung kann nicht ausgeführt werden" occurs. Adobe will not close. The Reader window is frozen and preventing me from closing my Mac 

I used the free Fill & Sign feature of the free Acrobat Reader DC to sign an agreement and send a read-only link to someone else to read the signed agreement.  Now the agreement is accessible via this Adobe website for anyone with the link.  I don't want that document to be available anymore. I want to delete it completely from Adobe and the Internet.  How can I do that?  The only option is to "Hide" but that's not sufficient for me.  I don't want Adobe to continue to have a copy of the agreement, which contains sensitive information.  I've never signed up for Adobe Sign and I don't plan to.  So, I can't login to Adobe Sign.  This is agreement is only a result of the free Fill & Sign feature of the free Acrobat Reader. Please help.  Thanks.

Hello, I would like to know why on some occasions after a while the PC starts up, the Adobe RdrCEF (32 bits) program runs in the background by itself without having started it, is it something common or is it an error?

this updathe been a DISASTER for me.  its a complete clusterfck. It updated & reformatted ALL of my PDFs before deleting all of them.so I had a classmate send me again, but they are all reformatted and have pretty much rendered the books completely unusable with any sort of efficiencyi have ADHD and the format is a nightmare for me.  I  cant organize, i cant color code my  highlights.... it’s a compl NIGHTMARE this is a school issued  ipad and adobe reader was already installed what I don’t understand  is why SOME of my classmates still have the old version and I’m in hell with the new version

hola, he instalado desde la region latinoamerica e instale el producto sin embargo me instalo en idioma ingles, y en dos equipos diferentes, despues instale de forma manual indicando idioma español e igualmente se instalo en ingles, desde el programa trate de cambiar el idioma y no me lo permite alguien sabe que puede ser=?

I upgraded my Mac OS to 13.0.1 and had to reinstall Reader. Now it's glitchy. There were some blank squares (solved) but my digital signature is nowhere to be found. I've tried unchecking the "modern" option but still I can't sign things.  Any ideas? It's Build: 22.3.20281.0

I have several pages of songs I have written, ach saved as a separate pdf file. I ma combining them into a portfolio. The problem I am having is with the page numbers. First, the numbers are not centered on the pages. Second, even though the numbers appear on each page on the screen they do not print. Please advise on how I can center and print tese page numbers. Thank you/Robert Ehinger

Beginner here, looking for assistance on an easy way to take text and images from one pdf to another. My employer has a form that requires information from another form for example "if b=c then add d from other form". They want an easier way to add d to the form. Rather than copying and pasting because the formatting is always off. Is there a way I can transfer the text as a clickable option on the form? So they don't have to always have both forms open? Like extract the parts needed from the document and add it so that it replaces the existing text? Omg i hope I made sense. Please help me, help me.

Anytime I print something from Adobe Acrobat Reader it prints double-sided.  How do I turn this off?  I feel like I've looked everywhere!

I have used the free adobe reader on my laptop (macbook air) for years without issues. Recently the app started freezing every time I open it even before I can open a PDF. I have tried to uninstall and reinstall on my laptop multiple times and the app continues to freeze every time and I have to force quit since it says "application not responding" and I cannot resolve this. Any suggestions/help?

I am using an email server to send PDFs. They open without issue for me, but a recipient at specific location keeps getting the error that the PDF cant be opened due to it either not being a supported file type or because the file has been damaged (for example the file was sent as an email attachment and wasn't correctly decoded). Can email servers cause this when sending or does this occur on the recipients end and can I do anything to fix it on my end? The recipient says it is sporadic but only happens when it comes from my email server. Thoughts?
