Acrobat Reader

Since installing Adobe Acrobat it installed a virus on my system called McAffee. This software constantly pops up and takes my computer resources to scan my computer and it sometimes randomly scares me in the bottom right into warning me that my computer is "unsafe" when this is not true. How can I uninstall this unwanted software? When I go to add+remove programes in windows 10 the uninstall button is disabled under McAffee. I googled and found a McAffee removal tool which ran for over an hour and claims to have removed it, but today I saw a window popup in the bottom right of my screen saying my computer is unsafe "by MacAffee". There is nothing I can see running in my system tray area.

We are having constant problems with PDFs printing too light. We have done the "print as image" as well as removing the save ink check mark. A quick background:We create CAD drawings in AutoCad and Revit, and then convert the drawings to pdfs to share with clients. We have been doing this for literally years. Now, when we open the pdf in Adobe and print from there, the pdf is so light it's barely legible. I thought maybe it was the CAD to PDF conversion, however, if we open from another program, it prints fine. The easy answer is to just print from the other program, but we don't all have the other software. Does anyone have any ideas? We are using PCs and the version of adobe is 2022.002.20212 - 64 bit, and there are no updates available.

When I try to print PDFs the program intermittently cannot print some files and the error message displayed on the printer screen is "Unable to print file. File is corrupt".  The issue is intermitent but has been persistent for months.  Please advise how to fix this issue.

Reader 2017.11.30080Win10x64, Build 1607Laptop is a Lenovo P50I was having what initially looked like a performance issue - any PDF I opened would take up to 20s or 30s to display the first page, and if I scrolled through the document, it would take another similar length of time to display the new page.Opening a PDF and immediately alt-tabbing away from and back to Reader worked, and this was the only way i found to get it to display more quickly - but you would have to do this any time you navigate a file within Reader.Tried all the usual preferences - page display, 3D handling etc. without luck.The only solution I've found is to go into the BIOS and change the graphics options. The laptop I am using has two graphics cards, an Intel one for low-power work, and an Nvidia Quadro for higher powered work. By default, the system works in 'hybrid' mode which means both are active.When I changed it to 'Discrete' mode - Nvidia only - the problem has gone away; so maybe there is some confusio

Every time a use Acrobat Reader, it asks me for the verification code that it send to an email account that is invalid.  How do I fix this?

As title, before upgrade we could easily send from within adobe using livemail. Have changed default mail application to Outlook and also protocol for 'mailto' unable to send however ?

I'm using Acrobat Reader DC 2022.002.20191.Usually I open many files and read or search through them.Because there are man open files, I use 'alt-W' key to listup files opened, but the file names are not fully shown and it shows only start and end of the document name. Very inconvenient.Is there a way to avoid this? Rather I want to direct this 'request' to Adobe but they don't provide an easy way for such a suggestion. (from today's short experience) Thanks!

how do you turn off highlighting so you can, for instance, copy text?

I have combined multiple writable PDF documents into a Portfolio. It works fine on a laptop or desktop with Adobe reader. However, when I open it on an iPad (with Adobe Reader and the latest IOS.), it comes up as ‘read only’.I have tried making it Reader Enabled, but it also does not work.I can fill in a standard writable PDF on an iPad, just not when that document is in a PDF Portfolio.Can anyone please assist me in getting this to work?

Hi, I had the trial subscription for Acrobat DC, but cancelled before the trial period was over.  Now, whenever I download Acrobat DC Reader, it automatically gives me Acrobat DC and frustrates me beyond belief because it's not what I downloaded at all. I tried deleting Acrobat DC, shutting my computer off, turning it on, and downloading Reader, but it still installed Acrobat DC. Why is this happening?  Does anyone know what I can do to stop it?

Hello,   I am facing a problem on the inability to verify if a pdf file reaching to me is truly genuine. So how can i detect if a pdf file is amended or manipulated? and how can i determine the manipulation?   

Scrolling through PDF file using Adobe reader on my MACBOOK pro is very slow and stuters. That is even for small files. MAC preview and Adobe pro do not have this issue. It is only Adobe ready.Please advice.

Hello, I need some help with my subscription that was cancelled in June, however I just noticed that I have continued to be charged every month. There is no way for me to contact adobe support and when I check my account details there are no recent invoices. Buenos días, tenemos constancia que desde día 3 de octubre de 2022 , todos los certificados digitales de persona física no pueden utilizarse para firmar en Adobe reader, si en otras aplicaciones, durante muchos años jamás hubo ningún problema en Adobe Reader, se ha probado con todas las versiones de Adobe Reader y en los certificados anteriores al 3 de octubre de 2022 no hay problema pero los posteriores impide firmar, es como si no reconociera el certificado.

Ich habe das Problem, dass der Acrobat Reader bei folgendem Ablauf immer abstürzt:Ich habe ein Anmeldeformular erstellt, auf dem man mehrere Felder eingeben kann. Das Formular wird per Mail versendet. Wenn man die Mail öffnet und dann das versendete Formular im Anhang mit dem Acrobat Reader öffnet, sieht noch alles okay aus.Jetzt das Problem:Wenn ich jetzt auf das Formular klicke, stürzt der Acrobat Reader ab.Was dann auch noch dazu kommt: Wenn ich das ursprüngliche Anmeldeformular öffne, um es noch einmal auszufüllen, öffnen sich die Eingabefelder nicht mehr.Zur besseren Erklärung ein kleines Videohttps://www.loom.com/share/66b3b13b2857430fbb48ebccd3213625

the reader shows not all polnish letter for expample Łódź   in my reader they shows only  ód.Installation is german. But when i open this document in Thunderbird with intergrated PDF reader is all ok .But in Thunderbird i cant select a  spezialy area (snapshot )  for printing

j ai un document enregistrer dans un fichier en mode PDF , lorsque je le visualise, il me parait foncé, serait il possible de modilier la luminosité avant impression directement dans ACROBAT READER et ainsi avoir une impression claire et lisible.
