Hi All, we have a need to automatically add digital signatures to documents, based on the current logged in windows user. Basically a batch script will complete some information in the PDF document and then we need to have it signed. We don't want the user to have to open the doc, sign it, save it, and then continue the process. There must be a way to add the digital signature without having to perform this manual step. Any help appreciated. mike

I have the latest continuous release of AdobeAcrobat Reader DC (2021.001.20135). I had enabled PDF thumbnails previews in File Explorer, but after that update, they did not show up. Only the default icon was showing. I tried turning it on and off copule of times, repaired the installation, and even installed it again; but the thumbnails are still not showing. What should I do now?
I have created a PDF form that also contains calculated fields. I have stored the calculations there in JavaScript. Now several people with iOS devices have the problem that after entering values in normal form fields, the associated calculated fields do not calculate and thus remain empty. To solve this, I tried to open the form in Acrobat Reader on the devices or to activate JavaScript in the settings. Unfortunately, this does not help. Can you help me?
Hello Community, I am using Acrobat Reader DC (Version 2021.001.20155) When I try to assign a graphic to my digital signature, I get to choose only .pdf files and not image files such as .png, .jpeg etc (See attached image). The signature image needs to have transparent background so that it does not hide the logo. Although I managed to create a pdf file of the signature image with a transparent background (long process), it would have been better if I had an option to choose .png file directly. Can we expect an update on this?
Today my computer will only open a pdf in edge. I have know idea why and I have tried everything to get it back to opening in Adobe reader but nothing works.
I've created a pdf file that I am emailing to clients to fill out and submit back to me. When I recive a response, I double click on the form received and I get a box to add to my response file. The location for the suggested response file is correct so I hit "OK" instead of "Browse. . ." But instead of adding the data to the response file, I get the following errors: - "Failed to open the response file: . Detailed error: Access denied."- If I click "OK" on the first error, I then get "Failed to add the returned form to the response file C:\[Correct response file locaion]." And again, the location indicated is correct. As a workaround, if I already have the response file open, or if I select "Browse . . ." to choose the exact same location intially suggested to add the response file after double clinking on the submitted form, I have no problem adding the data to my repsonse file. So why do I have the error indicated above when I simply hit OK to

DearHow to split assign page which I wang in adobe document included serveral pages, such as I would like 1,3 page to combine one adobe document? Is there free tool which can do it? Thanks a lot.
Has anyone been able to make this work on a Mac? I'm using MacOS 12.5.1 and Acrobat Reader DC 2022.022.20191. I've selected "Choose paper source by PDF page size", and verified that Reader sees some pages coded as letter (8.5" x 11") and some as legal (8.5" x 14"), but it will not correctly print them when mixed. It either puts all the pages on letter or all on legal. I thought maybe this has never worked, judging from what I've read in searches, but there was a thread last year (https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-reader-discussions/quot-choose-paper-source-by-pdf-page-size-quot-not-working/td-p/11819838) where an Adobe employee claimed it was working on Mac. This thread appears to be dead, with no responses to someone posting from last October, so I'm starting a new one and I'm interested in Mac only. It works on Windows. (It would be super bizarre if this didn't work on Mac and Adobe knew it, but for some reason they kept the nonfunctional option in the Mac version

Hey,We've got an issue on a 2008 R2 terminal server where signing documents using Adobe Reader is causing app lockups.I've found that disabling the "Modern User Interface" (in Preferences > Signatures > Creation & Appearance (More…) ) fixes the issue - however I have been unable to find a way to control this via group policy. I've tried running registry / file monitoring software to find the appropriate key / place to control this from with no luck.As per this blog post - Digital signatures simplified | Adobe Content Corner - it states this can be controlled via Group Policy.-----“From Preferences > Signatures > Creation & Appearance (More…) you can uncheck the “Use modern user interface…” option to turn off the new experience and return to the old one. This preference is active by default and can be controlled by means of Registry (Windows) and Plist (MacOS) preferences, so it is suitable for a custom configuration with automated deployments of Acrobat.”-----
I just installed Adobe Acrobat Reader onto a Mac running Catalina. When I looked in the Applications folder I see a folder called Adobe Creative Cloud. I've never seen the Adobe Creative Cloud folder installed in the past when installing the free Acrobat Reader. Is this something new? Has anyone else seen this?
I use the dynamic approved stamp with date on invoices. When I save the PDF the stamp is visible, when I open the PDF the stamp is visable. When I click on the envelope icon to email the PDF the dynamic stamp disappears. When the recipient receives the PDF there is no stamp on it.
