Hello,I know this question has been asked before and there are really great examples out there, however, I am new to writing scripts and am having trouble with getting leap years to be calculated between two dates. I am using the JavaScript Editor through Adobe from the Text Field Properties/Calculate/ Custom Calculation Script. I needed to determine the age between "Date of Filing" and "Date of Birth" and to auto-populate, in the "Age of Form Filing". I was successfully able to do so by using the following script below. However, it fails to take into account leap years. For instance, if I put in DOB as "01/01/2001" and the date of filing as "12/28/2022" It gives me the wrong age. I have looked at other examples but I think I am too much of a novice to understand and fill in missing areas in the examples I have found or have been provided. I would really appreciate assistance with this. //Custom calculation script to calculate age based on date of birth

Hello, I was wondering if there was any way to auto rename files when extracting them on Adobe Acrobat. I extract by going to "organize pages" and then I drag & drop from there into a folder on my desktop. It names itself "Untitled Extract Pages" and when I try to extract a new page, it asks me to replace, rather than just auto renaming itself. I would like it to be named the current file name (i.e. Invoices) and then add a number, if needed, from there (i.e. Invoices 1, Invoices 2, etc.) or something along those lines. I have to extract the pages and then upload them into our database, so that the individual invoices are connected to the ones that I have entered. This feature is on Preview but if possible, I would like to use Adobe Acrobat for it, so I don't have to switch back and forth between software I am on MacOS Catalina Version 10.15.7 Thank you!
For the past several days, every PDF I try to print shows the print size in multiples of 46.2MB, and half the time, I get a printer error. I recently reloaded Acrobat Reader DC because it wouldn't update (kept telling me I had the latest version when I didn't). The PDFs I'm trying to print are very small (low KBs). What could be the problem?
I open PDF file with fillable form fields, fill some of them, then send the file to someone else to fill the rest of them. This represents scenario where Human Resources pre-fill the form for an employee, and he has to fill the rest, sign and return. If I'm sending the document using Adobe Reader's email feature, when the recipient opens up the file he received from me, there are no longer any fillable form fields, so he can't fill them. This happens only when I'm using Reade's feature to send document by email (using default mail application/Outlook). If I save the file with partially-fllled fields and then attach it to the email like any other file, then it remains intact, and form fields remain available to the recipient. I wonder if this is by design, or perhaps something can be changed in Preferences, so the recipient can continue with form fields even if I sent the file from within Reader.
Hi, We recently updated to the latest version of Adobe Reader DC and get a lot of complaints about the pop-up about the 7-dat trial version, appearing when using the rotate button from the context menu.In the normal Adobe Reader DC we can point people to use View > Rotate > CW or CCW, or even place these buttons on the toolbar. But, when other software is using the Adobe Reader plug-in, these options are not available and people are bound to use ‘Rotate view to right’ from the context menu. This is very annoying, especially while Rotate left is missing, leaving people to sometimes click 3 times to get what they want. How can we get around this? Is there a way to edit the context menu? Is there a way to expand the ‘On mouse over’ menu and add buttons there? Please consider a patch or solution asap, since this is holding back production in important processes in hospital environment. TIA.
Considering a pdf file that includes a script to be printed : this.print(); The pdf file is 'opened' from an html page. The document doesn't open the print dialog and I don't get any error message. Html: <object id="pdf" type="application/pdf" data="URL to my pdf file" style="position: absolute;" width="1" height="1"></object> It was working with version 19.010.20099 and it stopped working since version 19.012.20034. I tried other versions including the latest one but the problem still exists. Excpected result: The pdf file is printed (sent to the printer)Observed : The pdf file is not printed (not sent to the printer)OS: Windows 10Adobe Acrobat Reader DC: 19.010.20099Browser: Firefox 52.0 ESR (Please not that the browser cannot be upgraded) The problem concern all the usersThanks for your help
Hello, since I had an issue with converting MS Word .docx file to .pdf using the basic exporting function Word -> File -> Save as -> .pdf (the PDF exported hasn't the internal links to headings, figures, tables...), I found out that Word should have an add-in called "PDF Maker" to export correctly .pdf files. But there isn't the PDF Maker plugin in Office applications, even if checking in File -> Options -> Add-ins -> Manage COM Add-ins -> Go... (see Picture 1)And also, there isn't the plugin in Adobe Reader DC menu Help -> About Adobe add-ins... (see Picture 2)I tried several things:1) repairing Adobe installation from Adobe menu2) uninstalling + reinstalling Adobe Reader DC after restaring Windows in minimal mode2) modifying Adobe installation from Control panel in Windowsbut the PDF Maker plugin still doesn't appear in Office and there isn't either in Adobe's installation folder (see Picture 3) I currently have Windows 10 Home 21H2 19044.1645Adobe R

I have Adobe Acrobat Reader DC 2200120117. I ran the update from the program and it installed Adobe Acrobat DC. Start menu and desktop shortcuts of Adobe Acrobat Reader DC.were replaced with Adobe Acrobat DC.

Hello. We had a problem in our company lately with signing pdf documents with electronic signature. When an employee tried to sign the document, the card with signature ID didn't pop up until they closed the file. Once they signed it like that, the signature was wrong. It happens to some every few weeks or months, and to some it happens every 2 days or so. The process that the signing should have would be to sign -> save file as -> enter security number for the certificate card -> positive signature on saved file. Instead it is "signing -> save file as -> app either crashes or you have to close it manually as it is unresponsive -> certificate card pop up for security number -> signature failed on the saved file.Uninstalling and installing the app again (we're installing the 2019 version as 2021 version sometimes doesn't work with signatures) solves the problem temporarily. It happens all over again the next day or 2 days later. We tried disabling updates for Adobe Rea
