Hello,I am creating PDFs in a separate program, which uses a DDE command to automatically open the PDF in Adobe Reader once the PDF is created. This command is not successfully opening the PDF, although manually opening the PDF works fine. I know that similar problems occurred for Acrobat/Reader versions 10 and 11. These problems were fixed by changing the "server" for the DDE command from "acroview" to "acroview{A|R}{Major Version}" where A is used for acrobat, R for reader, and "Major Version" is "10" or "11". What is the syntax that should be used for version DC? I have tried "acroviewRDC" and "acroviewRdc" without success.Any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated.
Hello! Why is there no information on the home page about Adobe Acrobat Reader 2020?Using Google, I can get to the pagehttps://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/ReleaseNotesDC/classic/dcclassic2020base.html#dc2020classic.Both Adobe Acrobat Reader DC and Adobe Acrobat Reader 2020 are free. Why is there only information about Adobe Acrobat Reader DC on the home page? Why are there no links from the Adobe home page and I have to search for it via Google? Why is Adobe hiding the 2020 version of Acrobat Reader? Why is it not easily accessible like Acrobat Reader DC?
In my application I use Adobe Reader through the COM / ActiveX interface, to display PDF documents within my application. This has been working fine for years. Now that I have updated my application to 64-bit mode, I notice the following problem on some computers: Adobe Reader gets stuck while displaying a message "Initializing" with a blue progress bar. See the screenshot below. It just stops working here. The funny thing is that this problem occurs only on some computers, not on all. Also when I run my application in 32-bit mode, it works without a problem. I have checked the preferences: "Run in AppContainer" and "Start in protected mode" are both unchecked. I would be really happy if someone knows a solution to this problem.
Hello, I bought my Acrobat Pro DC 2015 and now I changed my computer with windows 10, but I don`t know how to add the license.
I have Windows 10. After a recent Windows update, Adobe Acrobat Reader DC will no longer open when I click on the icon, nor open when I right click and run as administrator. If I click on a PDF file it will not open Reader either. I removed the Windows 10 update, and took my computer back to a restore point before Adobe Reader stopped working, but it still won't.I tried using a Adobe Reader repair tool, rebooting, reinstalling Adobe Reader; I tried simply uninstalling Adobe Reader myself and downloading it again and installing it, it still does not work.I checked and Adobe Reader is the default app to open PDF files.Under Windows Services, Adobe Acrobat Update Service is Running and set to Automatic. So are Adobe Genuine Monitor Service and Adobe Genuine Software Integrity Service. There is also an Adobe LM Service listed as Manual Startup type.Frustrated, I loaded a program called PDF Viewer Plus, and that works to open the PDF's. So I know they are
In MacUpdate Desktop, Adobe Acrobat Reader… states, Requires OS X 10.13. (I use OS X 10.13.6, with a FAST Solid State Drive.) But when _I_ try to open AcroRdrDC_2101120039_MUI.pkg I see, this: The current operating system is not supported. This software can only be installedon a machine with Mac OS X v10.14 or higher. So please change, Requires OS X 10.13 to Requires OS X 10.14. Thank you, one at Adobe.

I recently made a decision to buy a 2TB Samsung T7 in order to get actual long-term storage. I attempted to do so with two 1TB USB drives that I got over the course of 2 years before they each reached a certain limit, like 7-10% of their memory space, where I started experiencing some kind of error message, like a multi-volume error set message, a message that tells me that I can't open any new PDFs that I download, or some error message relating to corrupted files. Needless to say, I eventually found out that my problems were most likely because I was attempting to use a USB for long-term storage in both cases, and ones that weren't exactly from reputable brands either, when I should've been going for an SSD all along, since that type of hardware is far more suited for long-term storage.Regardless, I now have a 2TB Samsung SSD but I'm wondering if I should migrate my files from one of my USBs to my SSD. I'm trying to see if I can move my files to a hardware more suited for long-term s
I have been trying to download Acrobat Reader 9 without having a serial number. I have an old computer from 2001 and I am using XP still, can't afford a new computer. I don't want to use a third party, I want it from Adobe! Can anyone help?Thank you,Eddy
Opening a .pdx-file after upgrading to 2022 version triggers a repair installation. Eventviewer lists "%programfiles(x86)%\Adobe\Acrobat Reader DC\Reader\AcroCEF\libGLESv2.dll" as missing (and it is). The repair installation cannot fix this. After repair ran a acrocef_1 or acrocef_2 folder exists containing the file, but the next run will still trigger a repair. Reboot or removing the acrocef_x folder does not solve this.
Hello, we want to disable the option Signing with certificates in Acrobat Reader DC.There is a key provided by Adobe for disabling the feature in Services integration (adobe.com) The key is:bEnableCertificate But it seems that here is a limitation to Version 11. Is there any solution for DC? Can anyone help and know the solution for disabling only this function (Signing with Certificates via Registry Key)? RegardsA.
I've been getting charged $22.59 for the past couple months from adobe software and when I sign in to my account, it says I have no active plan in progress which is accurate because I don't subcscribing to a plan. Can someone assist me with this ?
Hello, I have Windows 10 Home with 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor. It is a Dell Inspiron Laptop with 8GB of RAM and Intel Core i7 processor. I have the install file AcroRdrDC2200120085_en_US.exe to install Adobe Acrobat Reader DC (the free version). My C: Drive is full, but my 😧 Drive has about 900 GB available. I have two physical drives. So I changed the destination folder for the install to an empty folder on the 😧 Drive. The install almost finishes but then gives the following error. "Error 1307: There is not enough disk space to install the file C:\Windows\Installer\b36414.msp Free some disk space and click Retry. Cancel to exit" This makes no sense. I have told it to install to an empty folder on the 😧 drive with over 900 GB of space. Any ideas of what is happening here? Thank you in advance.
I'm trying to solve a weird problem. There's a networked printer in a business environment. When printing PDF's in reader, sometimes it will print multiple pages from a document and not the rest. I have a 10 page document that I want to print all 10 pages of, but when I print it it will print the first 3 pages 10 times so I end up with 30 pages (3 pages repeated 10 times) instead of 10 pages of the whole document. It does not do this with word documents, only PDF's, and it doesn't do it with every PDF. I'm printing things PDF's made by someone else. Some documents will print completely properly and no one else seems to have the same issue, leading me to believe its the computer. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

I have Adobe Reader 64-bit installed. In my .NET applciation I have embedded the AcroPDF control to view PDF files. If I compile my .NET application for 64-bit (Any CPU) the control will not load the page, and just shows an Initializing bar. This is 64-bit Adobe, why does the AcroPDF not support 64-bit? Are there plans to support this is the future?

The last Adobe update (2021.007.20091) doesn't correctly open .FDF files through Windows 10 anymore. If you are running Adobe Acrobat Reader (have the application open) you can browse to and open an .FDF file and it will open successfully; however, if you are in Windows Explorer and you click on an FDF file (expecting Adobe Reader to launch and open), or if you are using a browser and attempt to open a link to an FDF file, Windows seems to think that Adobe isn't finished installing and puts up an installer dialogue box that says "Please wait while Windows configures Adobe Acrobat DC". It appears to be doing an automatic repair. This takes a while (10-30 seconds) and then eventually Adobe will launch and open the FDF file. The next time you try to open an FDF file, the behavior will repeat. The only 'solution' was to roll back Adobe to an earlier version.
I have a problem with the program. If I move the mouse pointer over the menubar, it will strangely disappear and the whole graphic will be damaged Reader. I have to turn off the menubar with the F9 key to fix the graphics. It goes wrong again each time you hover the mouse. I tried to uninstall and install the whole program. The problem still persists.
