We need help urgently about Adobe regarding an issue with Adobe Reader after a monthly Microsoft Patch.We are attaching a thread that describes the exact problem:https://community.adobe.com/questions-12/adobe-acrobat-reader-shows-a-grey-screen-after-installing-kb5074109-when-utilising-the-webbrowser-component-in-windows-1546977Since we understand that there are more people who have the same problem, we wonder what solution or workaround Adobe can provide?

When filling in the document, the program uses a font with the Greek alphabet, only when I use a Polish diacritic mark, the font changes to the correct one. Please help me because I have already searched half of the internet.  Adobe Reader DC 2021.005.20048Windows 10 x64

Hi all, hope you can help me!So I have this PDF signed with a EU qualified certificate. In my Mac, Reader will confirm the validity fine, but when I made an update on one of the PC:s it will not validate. It seems it wont even validate against EUTL anymore? Pic:                    The other PC is still fine, even after update. Both are about a year old and have the same settings as far as I can tell: What is wrong? I know the certificate is valid, why wont Reader validate agains EUTL all of a sudden? 😞

Hi all. I'm posting this in the hopes that it might help someone else out that may have the same symptom. Last week, my Adobe Reader stopped printing. Nothing I did produced any result. Not hitting the print icon. Not hitting CTRL+P. Not selecting "print" from the drop-down menu. There was no error message. No nothing. It was as if I hadn't clicked anything. I tried repairing the installation, no help. I've rebooted the computer many times over the last couple weeks. Here's what finally fixed it. On a whim, I went to Windows Explorer, right-clicked on the PDF file, and selected "print" from Explorers context menu. Adobe flashed open for a sec, and the document printed. Now, Adobe Reader prints as it always used to do. There must have been some little "glitch" or something going on.Problem solved. Hope this helps someone else.Artie

Hello everyone,, It's considered the premiere pdf software, but it has trouble just opening files, let alone more than one. Scrolling leads to system hangs. The program crashes periodically even when you're not really doing much that stresses it [Spam link removed by moderator.] Is the issue a simple bit of code that IT pros are familiar with, or is it just buggy for no good reason???

How do you print double sided from Adobe Reader?I have tried 'File >> Print' which brings up the print dialogue box.There are no options for double sided/duplex on the basic view. I have two options: 'Properties' and 'Advanced'. Properties also has an 'Advanced' option. The double sided/duplex option does not appear on any of these forms, even after I have expanded all the menus.I have been searching the internet for days and I can't find an answer to this (what I though would be very simple) question.My printer is capable of printing double sided so it is a setting in Adobe that is not showing up.

Does anyone have any help on this matter, i have done the registry edits, i have downloaded the new reader, i have went by their AI instructions as well as Adobe Support Instructions. i can clear remembered account info, there is no check box there for me to enable.

My client initiated a trial of Acrobat Pro, adding their credit details. They then wanted to cancel and revert to the free version. The app on re-install immediately starts “Upgrading key features” and cannot be opened again without logging into a licenced account. On start-up of the app it would prompt to open the browser to authenticate but didn’t do so.I have tried uninstalling with Revo uninstaller, Creative Cloud Cleaner tool, AcroCleaner, and running all 3 in different orders. Manually clearing all registry entries I could find. Deleting all possible files containing Acrobat or Adobe in the name via a file indexer. Logged back into his Adobe account in browser to see the trial had been re-enabled without his consent and was about to expire and start billing him. Cancelled the trial again, deactivated the device via account management, deleted all cookies/cache for Adobe websites, re-installed Chrome after clearing registry entries. Installed Windows 11 32 bit version Acrobat. Add

3-4 weeks ago, I got a glitch in my Adobe Acrobat Reader on my Windows 11. As it can be seen in the attached image, my opened PDF documents get duplicated. I open them, wait for a few seconds to pass while using another application, and when I return to Reader, everything is duplicated in the same order it was opened. If I try to close the duplicate, it will close the original tab. I have been using Reader for more than 10 years, and on this specific computer, I am using it for almost 2 years without any glitches ever. I tried updating both Windows and Reader, and it didn't help. I also tried fixing the installation, but it didn't work either. I hope I can get a solution to this. Thank You in advance.

MacOs. Adobe Reader Free Version 2025.001.21111.I try to open any PDF and the app opens a window asking me to login to Adobe. I click the X to close the window and the entire program crashes. The only workaround is to uninstall the program and reinstall it from scratch. Then it works for a few days or weeks, but the problem eventually comes back. Might be tied to auto-updating, but I’m not sure. This time I took a screen recording so you guys can see it for yourself. See attached file.The problem needs to be fixed, it’s been present since around June 2025 and I believe is affecting all MacOS users just trying to use the Free version of Adobe Reader.1 Attachment

Bonjour,Depuis une semaine j'ai installé Windows 11 et j'ai pu ouvrir les PDF mais aujourd'hui impossible de les ouvrir et Acrobat installé sur mon ordinateur n'ouvre pas non plus. J'ai fait désinstaller et réinstaller mais Acrobat n'ouvre pas. Je ne sais pas ce qui bloque. J'ai abonnement Adobe Creative Could pour Photoshop, Lightroom et la possiblité de télécharger Acrobat Pro mais je ne veux pas cette version payante et il n'est pas possible de la supprimer. Adobe Creative Cloud a été mise à jour ainsi que les cartes graphiques Nvidia et AMD.Merci pour votre aideCordialementBéatrice

With these 2 instruction statements>>Delete All: Just one click and you can clear the entire Recent files list. Select the “Clear Recent” button at the bottom of the page. Will these be deleted from my PC,  or just removed from the Reader page?

Hello, I tried modifying the PDF file, saving it, but to no avail. Adobe Reader doesn't remember the last viewed page. Here's the attached PDF file that causes problem. I'm using Adobe Reader v.2025.001.20756 64bit on Windows 11 (latest version applied). The setting under Acrobat>Edit>Preferences>Documents> Remember last view settings when reopening the file is properly checked. Any idea?

Hi there, I'm having trouble removing an invalid signature from my PDF document. I'm reusing a document I signed last year so the signature is mine, but I deleted my Adobe account before creating a new account. Because the account I used to sign is no longer active, the signature doesn't have a valid ID certificate and won't allow me to validate or delete the signature to resign the document. Since I'm using the free version of the app, is there a way I can delete the signature or validate it again?

I have requested a distribution license to be able to deploy the free Adobe Reader to users in my organization. I haven't received any communication yet about the license or where to get the installation package. Adobe chat support couldn't help and directed me to check here. Any assistance would be appreciated. 

Hello everyone, From today when trying to open a PDF file located in a network folder, acrobat reader gives me the following error: Error Security lock: Does not allow connection with ... (my route). I have looked at the security privileges and I have full control over the documents in this folder. If I try to open the documents from another PC it works without any error. I have reviewed the security options of the program and it seems that everything is fine. I've also relisted the software and it's still the same. Any idea what it could be? Thank you.

When I try to use e-signature service the box keeps closing half way through typing an e-mail, when I do manage to type it and it allows me to select where to place the signature, it just freezes and pops back up asking to type recipient details in again. I have tried on different PDFs this functions keeps faltering.  Any suggestions on this please would be very welcome!   Thanks, Katherine

Why is Adobe still attempting to maliciously infect customers computers? For years your own customers have been bringing up this giant problem and it STILL hasn't been fixedNo one wants the most fraudulent 'anti' virus infecting their systems. We had to force uninstall this product using Revo uninstaller, after it was removed we used a real Anti-virus and found over 20 infections, all that showed up right after fraudulent McAfee was installed. What a malicious thing for you to do to your own customers. Whenever I open an existing pdf document, by default Acrobat always includes the right-hand side "tools pane", which takes up about 1/3rd of the window pane.  To minimise it, I have to always go to >>View,>>Show/Hide,>>Tools Pane>> then toggle/click.  Or on my laptop shift+Fn Key+F4.How can I change this to not include the Tools Pane in full and just have it in its minimised form, like icons on the right-hand side, which is how it shows when I manually hide it.
