This "Ask AI Assistant" box has started popping up at the bottom of the window when viewing a PDF. It has an option to "hide for this session" but how do I turn off permanently? It's just another annoying dialog box filling up my viewing screen

Having a hell of a time figuring out which installer to use for a 64 bit adobe reader deployment via intune win32 app. I located a good process at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TVAADl2J65Y for the 32 bit version, but I cant find an offline 64 bit installer that will let me extract the MSI from it. Why is this so absurdly challenging?!
I have several PDF files that I used to be able to open, but now, they are asking for a password. I did not create a password for any of these files. Has anyone encountered this problem before? If so, how do I resolve it? Thank you.
Acrobat reading a PDF file. I pull up search, type something. It shows “No results found” before I press return! Then I press Return, and it shows me the search results. This is just plain wrong. If you haven’t searched, don’t tell me there are no results. AND if I don’t know about this behavior, I might actually believe that it searches as I type, and there really are no results. And I might not go ahead and press Return.
We deploy Acrobat with many registry keys from the Preference Reference page to disable features we do not want. Unfortunately, there doesn’t seem to be a way to disable these two features which advertise mobile apps to our users - which isn’t something we can have in our environment. This is on the latest version, 25.001.21184. The first option has a registry key, but it doesn’t seem to work. This is the “app center” at the top of the screen (https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/PrefRef/Windows/FeatureLockDown.html#idkeyname_1_11794). Setting the registry key here doesn't make a difference. The other ad is for the Acrobat mobile apps. We can disable this with an HKCU setting but there’s nothing lockable within HKLM which makes this difficult to package for our environment. Are there any methods to remove these from the interface? We can't deploy Acrobat without having these sorted.
I’ve searched everywhere online and in help - no answer yet. I created a form in Adobe InDesign on Mac. I created all the fillable fields within InDesign. Exported the file as an Interactive PDF. Tested it on my Mac in both Reader and Acrobat Pro. Everything worked great. Then I sent it to the client and everyone in their office has tried to open it in “Acrobat Pro” on their Windows computer, and none of the fields show up or can be clicked on to type data into. It essentially has NO FIELDS when opened on Acrobat Pro on their Windows computers in their office. I’ve tried adjusting their Acrobat prefrences to show the fields, but it already has “show fields”. If we click on Prepare form in their Windows Acrobat, it shows a few of my fields, but not all of them. Any ideas guys. This is driving me crazy as I have several clients on Windows that I’ve done PDF forms for, and all of theirs work just fine. Help!
I have the same issue as in the post. I have tried all the registry edit, default app and file type commands, etc. Apparently, I need support to help me 🙂My reply: I have the same problem running a Surface Pro 10 for Business, Core Ultra 7, running Windows 11 Pro 24H2. My device is managed, and I am the IT administrator with full access to make any changes. I've followed the procedures above and have completed steps 1 and 2, but the reg entries for step 3 don't match up. I've also performed several clean installs and no luck. Hi Community. Having a problem with Acrobat Reader. Just downloaded Acrobat Reader recently. The "Highlight selected text" tool does not work. Is it just me or has anyone else noticed this problem? Problem Description: I'm in "Single Page View," have "Enable Scrolling" unchecked in the View menu, but scrolling with the mousepad still jumps to the next page, unlike keyboard navigation. Steps to Reproduce:Open any PDF.Go to View > Page Display > Single Page View.Go to View > Page Display and ensure Enable Scrolling is UNCHECKED.Attempt to scroll down with the mousepad.Observe that it scrolls to the next page instead of remaining on the current page.Adobe Acrobat Version: Adobe Acrobat Reader DC | Continuous release | Version 2025.001.20467 | 64-bit.Also the "Use mouse wheel to scroll: Single page at a time" preference is no longer present in Edit > Preferences > Page Display in this version.

There's a user getting PDF files from a certain company and they open as blank, white pages. There's no message or anything and other PDF files open fine. I also tried opening the files in Edge, Chrome, and SumatraPDF with the same result. Our company is using version 18.011.20058 or the Reader. I tried installing a newer version of the Reader but it didn't help.The user has talked to the company that's sending these PDF files already. They told her the problem isn't with them and that other people had the same problem but their IT departments were able to fix it. I'm starting to wonder if the problem really is on their end because I haven't been able to find a fix.
When opening a pdf file in acrobat reader, it takes seconds till scrollbar is shown. It is very unconfortable to wait for it. It may be related to the new AI features. I use latest version, installed earlier this week.
When I attempt to login to Adobe to access my stored signature and initials (and other features) I can successfully navigate the login prompt in a browser, but when I return to the app it is in a frozen state. The only feedback is the error ping with every mouse click. Please assist.

Is it possible to get an official response from Adobe indicating whether, after the End of Life (EOL) of Adobe Reader Classic 2020, there will be a new version under the same category (Classic) with the same update cycle, and that doesn't depend on Adobe web services for which there isn't an active contract or for which an account isn't desired?
Hi,I need to mark multiple comments in a pdf as complete. To do this, I need to click on the 3 dots (menu) next to the comment> Set status> Completed. With over a 100 comments, this is tedious. What are the shortcut keys to do this. thanks

Hi all. I'm posting this in the hopes that it might help someone else out that may have the same symptom. Last week, my Adobe Reader stopped printing. Nothing I did produced any result. Not hitting the print icon. Not hitting CTRL+P. Not selecting "print" from the drop-down menu. There was no error message. No nothing. It was as if I hadn't clicked anything. I tried repairing the installation, no help. I've rebooted the computer many times over the last couple weeks. Here's what finally fixed it. On a whim, I went to Windows Explorer, right-clicked on the PDF file, and selected "print" from Explorers context menu. Adobe flashed open for a sec, and the document printed. Now, Adobe Reader prints as it always used to do. There must have been some little "glitch" or something going on.Problem solved. Hope this helps someone else.Artie

Hi,I have two accounts, one personal and one company account. Company account subscribe on Adobe Acrobat Reader Pro. With my personal account I started to subscribe on Lightroom yesterday.No problem til this morning. Now when I open Reader Pro I am logged in with my personal account which does’nt have a subscription on Reader Pro. Which leads to a popup window pops up right away with three options. Either you can choose to close the program, buy it, or start a trial period. I don’t want either of these, I just want to change account which is not possible before you act on some of the options in the popup window.How do I solve this problem? I want to be logged in on my personal account in Lightroom and my company account in Reader Pro on the same computer. Best regards,Therese
Guten TagIch habe jetzt mehrmals den Acrobat Reader heruntergeldanen und den dann entpackt. Dort sehe ich auch den MSI downloader. Dieser funkitioniert auch aber das problem ist das dieser noch über die ältere Version läuft. Dann habe ich einen anderen downloader probier. Der war von der neuen Version, da ist aber das problem, das er mir automatisch den PRO annimmt. Wenn ich das programm öffne heisst es dass ich mich anmelden muss und wenn ich das Fenster weg drücke schliest es mir alles. Woran könnte das liegen? Ich möchte ein Opsi Packet erstellen.Ich bitte um Lösungsvorschläge.
