After making comments in my own PDF, I shared that PDF (with my comments) for my colleagues to further edit in review mode. I'm able to resolve, edit, and delete new comments that were added after I shared it in Review Mode, but I'm not able to resolve, edit, or delete comments from the original PDF (added before I shared it). Those options are grayed out when I right click on those original comments. Is there a way for me to enable the "Resolve, Edit, Delete" option for comments from the orginal PDF so I can engage with both old and new comments while in Review Mode?
I had the free version of acrobat on my computer. My wife logged in to her Pro version on my computer, then logged out. Now I can't get into the free version (which is all I need) because it keeps saying to buy or start a free trial which I don't want to do. We have logged out, uninstalled and reinstalled the free version, rebooting the computer and clearing the casche. Any suggestions? I only need a reader for bills that come in for the non-profit I volunteer for. I do not want the paid version. Thanks.
Hi!I'm having trouble converting a PDF to Word (or any other format for that matter). It comes out with symbols and not letters. And the txt is not readable, the tables are empty. It seems there is something wrong with the format.Anyone? /Kjersti
Hi, this is my first time posting, and I'm having trouble with the Search function on Adobe Acrobat. You can see in the image below that when I use the Search function, it no longer highlights the text in blue; it "highlights" the text searched by only changing the font color to navy blue (please see the word "promotion" on the second line below and contrast it with the rest of the text). It's very difficult to find anything this way, and everything I've seen implies that the Search highlight feature is not customizable. I'd love some help with it if someone could offer advice. I'm using a MacBook Pro. Thanks in advance!
The select tool does not work properly, even though the document properties security settings include no limitations. This applies to text scanned documents (documents where Adobe has identified text). The cursor looks like a crosshair and when you try to select text you only get a rectangular shaped box of the content as a picture, not the actual scanned text.
There is a PDF form that includes fillable fields. I’m able to fill out and save the form without any issues. But when I send the form to others, they can see the filled details in a web browser version after waiting for a while, but not when they open it using Adobe Reader. The strange part is that the filled-in information appears in the file preview, but when they open the document, the content disappears and the form appears blank.
請問有24.003.20112的版本在 Windows 上使用適用於 Acrobat Reader 的 32/64 位元字型套件和拼字字典套件嗎最新只找到23.008.20421的版本
Hello Adobe Community,I run a print shop and have recently started experiencing an issue with Adobe Acrobat. For the past two weeks, whenever I open blueprint files from customers—most likely created in AutoCAD with comments added—Acrobat displays the comments as large black boxes all over the document. This problem only started recently. I have the latest version of Acrobat installed. I've tried disabling the “Show Comments” option in Preferences, but after restarting the computer, the setting resets and the option is enabled again. This issue is affecting my work, and I would really appreciate any help or guidance you can provide.Thank you in advance!
Just installed a new HP Envy 6152e printer on my MacBook Air Sequioa 15.5 computer. Black&White and Text scanning in Acrobat is fine. Color scanning always returns "The selected Color format is not supported." Only the ICA format can be used!Suggestions very welcome - Thanks - Jef
I upgraded to Adobe Acrobat Pro and I'm trying to install the upgrade but its taking forever. How long these usually take? I've already been waiting for 40 minutes and there is no sign of progress. There hasn't been any issues with other software installations.I have stable internet connection and a good pc.
When I try to print a document in pdf it will not print it will only save to file or save. I have set the print to pdf but nothing happens. this type of document is a Probate questionaire from a lawyer. I have tried everything I can think of, I tried to get help from Adobe but they say they only help paying customers not customers with free accounts.Im not real savvy when it comes to these type of things on a computer.

I have Adobe Acrobat Pro 2020 as well as Adobe Acrobat Reader (continuous release) installed on my comp. In both apps, the pdf form appears to get immediately corrupted and gives the error indicated. I am opening a downloaded file within Acrobat. I am being told by the pdf form creator that I could use Adobe Acrobat Reader 2020 release. But when I try to look for a download for this, I just reach the standard Acrobat Reader download page and it says I already have the app installed. Apparently Adobe Acrobat Standard, Adobe Acrobat Reader (Continuous Release), Adobe Acrobat pro, Adobe Acrobat pro dc are not Adobe products that would help me but I need to have the latest versions of Adobe Acrobat Reader. Where do I find this??

Adobe acobat reader measuring tool not able to performed proper measurement due to line "snap" function not working. The line "snap" function use to be working fine until I make some change on 2D measuring option. I click on " Use Orthographic Lines" option and the "snap" function just go haywire. De-select the option the problem still exist, try "Repaired Installation" from the "Help" also not working. It seem like there is a "bug" in the software. Below example 2 same point but the reading is different. If the line snap function is working, it will snap on the first line and follow by the next line. I want to use guided actions to batch optimize lots of pdfs for publishing to the web. I have created a custom action, and then created a cutsom command of save to local folder, designated the folder I want it saved to and then added that custom command to the custom action, and I STILL have to click where i want every single pdf to save, click ok, then click save. Is it possible to just automate the whole thing and just process and walk away, knowing that the 100 pdfs are happily optimizing and saving to my "Optimized" folder?
iPad iOS 18.Installed Acrobat Reader from the App Store. Acrobat Reader does not show the Certificates option in Tools. Is there a way to sign PDF documents with a certificate on an iPad? It works on a Windows PC. I searched but couldn't find anything. The procedure I found refers to this path Tools/Certificates, but I don't have it there. Please advise, thank you.
Hello On several workstations I have noticed that with ONLY the adobe reader version 25.6.1.0. it forces you to subscribe, unlocking the prenium functions for 7 days, but the most problematic thing is that if you don't subscribe, the software closes automatically... I've noticed this problem with many people, is this a change in Adobe policy? Is it a change in Adobe's policy? A bug that will be fixed in the next update? hotfixe ? see the picture. Thank

Hello,After last update of Adobe Reader DC (15.017.20050) we have big problems with open PDF files. Some language characters are not displayed (like ż or ł) and we have error: "Cannot extract the embedded font MPDFAA++DejaVuSansCondensed some characters may not display or print correctly". On older version everything was fine. ADOBE DEVELOPERS - please quick fix this problem... ;-(
Hey guys, I am trying to figure out if there is a setting where I can force Acrobat Reader to ALWAYS open PDFs in landscape orientation? They always open in portrait mode because that's the layout of the scanner bed, but our content is almost always in landscape orientation. Obviously I can simply rotate each PDF upon opening, but I open far too many every day to waste time changing the orientation of every single one, every single time it's opened. Work smarter not harder! Any ideas?TIA!
Have an acrobat form (work document) that i have saved on my MAC desktop. Have used it for ages with no issue. PDF. Have free version of adobe reader. Now it no longer lets me duplicate something from one box to another like it did, there's pages where you can do N/A on them but that doesn't appear correctly anymore or let me write on that page where I have the option of applicable or n/a. My colleague also works remotely from our usual workplace and at the same time had the same issue. Have tried uninstalling and re installing but with no change. Any advice is welcome thx.
