Acrobat Reader

I am scanning old handwritten manuscripts from about a hundred years ago, and I would like the handwritten letters changed into more readable regular font, like Times New Roman or Arial. How do I do this?

Hi all, I tried to download the latest version of Adobe Reader for Linux. Even though the download site offers versions for ancient proprietary operating systems, there is no choice for a modern Linux. Within the archive I found Reader 10 from 2013. Did Adobe disontinue support for modern operating systems? Best,Michael

PDF files on my macbook have always opened to the default application Adobe Acrobat Reader DC.  How can I change the default back to Adobe Acrobat Reader DC?

I need help with the following scenario:An excel file is exported as PDF, a director digitally sings it with a certificate. He sends the file to two managers and they have to countersign it. But the managers are unable to add their signs as the file is locked because of the first sign. How to multiple digital signatures without the file being fully locked?

Had been running Catlina when Adobe was not compatable any longer. Downloaded Big Sur have have uninstaled Adobe DC reinstalled but still can not print a PDF.

I am unable to scan or print after I deactivated Acrobat Pro. 

Hello,I received a medical receipt in PDF as an email attachment. I want to save the receipt on my laptop -Windows 10- so I can then attach it to my claim form for my insurance. I cannot seem to do save it - only print. Can someone help?    Thank you kindly. 

Hi Has anyone found issues with the latest App update for iPad Adobe Acrobat? We try an open a PDF from dropbox on the iPad and a different file opens. When we open the same PDF on the desktop Acrobat Reader we have no issues.  We can we open the PDF on the iPad App. Cameron

I  think that I need Adobe to open some documents that I receive on my PC. I only need ADOBE for my PC, and I use it only a few times a month.But it is expensive at $21.99 PER MONTH. Surely there is a cheaper rate?Or, can I get by ithout using it at all?I find it very difficult to change anything on the page - the only option seems to be t okeep paying. This is very expensive for me.

Dear comunity:It has been a long time since this happens, and it does in diferent browsers (firefox and chrome) and computers, but when i receive a .PDF in an email and i want to save it, there are 2 action butons on the icon of the file, one showing to save on the cloud (google drive) and another to download the file.Here is the strange situation:1st time after starting the computer, when i use the download buton on a pdf, it opens a normal file location selector window and it downloads it properly, and then, opens it in the acrobat reader, which has not been ordered.After that "1st time", always i use that icon, it does not download the file but opens it on acrobat, and you must use "save as" to save the file.And another disgusting thing...  When on acrobat reader you choose "save as" there is an in program file location selector window, and after you use it, another from windows appears.   Why this 2 step procedure?   I mean,... i can live with it, but.. so

olá, quando faço download de algum pdf, o adobe abre esse pdf, oq deixa o pc muito elnto e nem sempre quero abrir de imediato, so quero baixar o documento. Alguem sabe se tem como modificar isso? 

I have been using a series of PDFs for several years. These PDFs are generated out of Microsoft Access database. Today the data was updated -- new PDFs generated -- and suddenly they do not open correctly on my computer (Computer 1) in Adobe Acrobat Reader DC, Adobe Acrobat Pro 9, or Photoshop CS5. What should be Arial MT (True Type) font shows as Adobe Sans MM (Type 1). The Arial-Bold MT (True Type) is fine. Those are the only 2 fonts in the documents. Nothing is different about the files except the data in them -- fonts and structure are all the same.Computer 1 uploaded them to a web page, and from the Edge browser cannot open them at all. With Chrome, they open fine and the fonts are correct. Computer 2 is where the files were generated. They were transferred with a flash drive to Computer 1. On Computer 2, which uses the same operating system (Windows 10) and the same version of Acrobat Reader DC (2015.023.20070) as Computer 1, the files open just fine with Adobe Acrobat Reader DC.

Can we able to use the same installer package for installation which was created using admin console for another different organization?For example :Created a installer package from admin console using Organization A admin login and is it possible to use the same installer for installation in Organization B? or do we need to create separate package using Organization B admin login and then deploy that to Organization B?

I used self signed certificate to sign PDF documents. The recipient of the documents is asking for a PDF copy of the certificate. I have purchased Acrobat Premium on my android, but when i'm signed in from my pc with the same account, I did not have a Premium Subscription. Anyone have an answer?

Hi guys, I cannot change the properties of a PDF file, like author, title, subject, and keywords as all these fields are grayed out. Some of the PDF files I have are filled with information, and some are not. For both cases I am unable to change them. I have considered the possibility that these files are protected by their creators, but the files have no passwords, and I have even tried to create my own PDF using Microsoft Office Word Document and then saved it as a PDF, and even then, though I'm the creator of the file it shows the author with a name I have never seen before and I still cannot change that

I am trying to save properties within a PDF (see screenshots) and they won't. When I reopen the document it reverts back to "deafult" even though I have saved the document.

I have a ppt for 100 EMF images which of size 884 KB. When I convert this ppt to pdf via export options in ppt I observe pdf file size increased to 4.58 MB. Any specific reason on why size increases so much and any way on how can we get pdf with reduced size while converting if from ppt?

Is there a way to add custom icons to the toolbar? I would like to add a pushpin icon and then i can drop the pushpin on a section of the document.

Hi, I was able to install Adobe Reader DC for Mac in my MacBook Air 2020 (M1 Chip). The installer I downloaded and installed is for MacOS 10.x-11 for Intel processor since there's no option yet for M1 Chip.  But when I tried to copy&paste an image into my pdf file, the image is cut out, showing only a portion of the entire image that I wanted to display in the pdf. I tried to look for solutions online but to no avail. Thanks in advance for your assistance.

Anyone know how to fix that? Seems to be when items were downloaded and have not been saved local, calling up a local and saving as works fine. Not sure if that makes sense
