Acrobat Reader

I'm getting a problem with PDFs from many sources opening as blank grey pages with no errors popping up. Same files open in my old verion of Acrobat 9, and in the free Foxit Reader. Anyone else getting this? If so, I can recommend the Foxit Reader (free).

At my work we use the Adobe Acrobat Reader app to fill and sign docs through our google drive. I uploaded a PDF (same one) to several folders. One user on one device is able to edit it without issue. A different user on a different device gets the message "save a copy to edit". Does anyone know why this is? THANK YOU

Hi, for years I am using Outlook as mail program. Important Mail I wanted to archive I right clicked and converted them to PDF files. They are a compendium. Let's say, if there are three mails I wanted to save, these mails are inside a single PDF, where they are flagged. So I can chose every mail by clicking the flag. I didn't know, however, until today, that Flash Player is part of this as well. So I missed it today, when I wanted to look for a certain mail in one archive PDF-file, as I had deleted Flash Player on Monday. So there are some questions: How can I read my files, which I need badly? Do I need to install another program? If yes, what? How can I make new such PDF-files, not using Flash Player that is. Thanks in advance. Dominic

I try to sign in to my adobe acrobat reader dc. but when I click sign in, the sign-in page not allow me to click anything, and also Facebook account and apple account section all disappear. I try to reinstall the app still not working but I can log in online. my cell phone app also not allow me to log in.  I don't know what happens. just happen yesterday. before everything works well. 

Hi. I had to uninstall Adobe reader from my laptop coz it wouldn't open any pdf file and then I tried to re-install but it kept giving me this message although I couldn't find any adobe apps or files or whatsover on my laptop. I tried from a different browser, yet the same message appeared. Now I can't open any pdf file. Plz help me 😞 

My wife completed a fillable form on her iPhone and emailed it to me to view on my Windows 10 PC with Adobe Acrobat Reader.When I view the form in Adobe Acrobat Reader DC, it appears blank, but if I print it, the fields are populated.When I view it in Firefox, it shows the completed fields.When I view it in Microsoft Edge, it shows the completed fields.So, it is only a problem with Adobe Acrobat Reader.I tried some of the tricks posted on the forums such as adding a space or Cut-paste, but nothing works.From viewing these forums, it appears this issue has been reported for at least 8 years now.Will Adobe ever fix this problem?  I understand, Adobe wrote the spec on PDFs, but apparently everyone else is doing something different, so it seems Adobe needs to adapt.

I cannot get a fillable form, which works on a desktop and laptop, to work on an ipad.  The PDF downloads, but the fields that should be fillable, are not.  I have opened it in the adobe app.  I tried the Fill & Sign tool and got the following error "No supported document opened. I upgraded windows10 with outlook ....I updated Adobe reader to last version (2020.0013.20074) and as pdf reader run perfectly.But when I click envelope icon no recognize outlook program (wqhen ewvbery other software open outlook without any problem)I unistallated all adobe reader, rebooted pc, installated reader yet....done uptaded all upgrading request, untile 2020.0013.20074 version, and nothing.....no see the outlook.IF I choose another pdf reader, this run perfectly!!!So, please, there is some patch to use reader adobe or must to do other things????THANKS IN ADVANCE!

Hello All, I entered some text in few of the text fields in a fillable form in PDF Acrobat and saved the file and now I'm unable to make changes to that entered text. Is there a way to edit the text in the text fields? Thanks in advance!

Dear Community,hope this is in the correct forum. This regards the Adobe Acrobat and Adobe Reader Desktop app, which we are using in our corporate environment. Since we migrated data to Microsoft 365 (SharePoint / OneDrive), users would like to add these storage locations in Adobe application.While doing this for the Microsoft Cloud Storages, we receive this request for permission.     I know this effects an Azure AD app, which is required for the Adobe desktop app to connect to SharePoint / OneDrive on behalf of the user. But we have to analyze each of the three permission sets from a data privacy point of view.Permissions for "sign in and read Profile"   and   "Read and write user files"    make sense.But what is the reason for the app to require "Access the directory as the signed-in user"?  Already tried the usual Adobe support, but the couldn't help me with this very specific topic.Thanks a lot,Christoph

I'm trying to create a sort of virtual story book using PDFs and links that open new documents.  I want to add voice overs as part of this and while I can get it to play the audio for the voice over by having a link to the file Adobe Acrobat Reader makes you have to approve the file opening in an external program EVERY TIME YOU CLICK.  Can I make it so that you don't have to click to approve and it will just open?  Or maybe I only have to approve once and then it will automatically open for all the other files?

when i click on a PDF file Acrobat comes up with "There was an error opening this document. The file cannot be accessed by the system".Has anyone got any idea why this is happening?

Hi, I'm hoping someone may be able to help me..I am trying to download a document to pdf from Canva, when opened through Adobe Acrobat Reader (the latest version) the formatting is all off and the text pushed around. It doesn't happen in Preview, just Adobe and to my colleagues the same? Please see examples of funky text attached. Thank you for any help!

Hi,I am using windows 10 and can able to open a pdf file using adobe reader. But after update with the latest version of OS, I could not open any pdf files. I followed all the instructions in the website like repair, removed through abode cleaner and reinstalled and set as a default app etc. But nothing is working. How to troubleshoot or solve this issue?

Hi, I've set calculations to happen on the page however it seems the box doesn't perform calculations until I type something in another box. Hard to explain but seeht e images for a better understanding. As you see in example 1 & 2, I completed the calculation in example 1 however no subtotal triggered. As soon as I type in any box "Example 2" as you see I typed in a box below and all of a sudden the calculations populate for what was the first line...can anyone help?

So, in my old Laptop, I could save changes to Adobe PDF using the "Save" rather that "Save As" which directly saved changes without making me choose location again and againHowever, after I transferred all my data (including PDF) to my new Laptop, and redownloaded Adobe (Since the Adobe which was transferred wasn't working for some reason. So I reinstalled it), I can't "save" the changes now, without "save as"When I click File > Save it still brings up the "Save As" window and asks me to choose location. When I try to close without saving and it asks to save changes and I say "yes", it still opens the "Save As" windowEven "ctrl + s" is now popping up the "Save As" button rather than "Save"Basically its like my Save button has converted to Save As. PLEASE HELP!!!!I am using Adobe Acrobat DC

I am trying to save PDF attachments from emails and I am getting a whitedout save box and so am unable to save these.I have done everything suggested in all the posts I can find on here and this hasn't helped, can someone tell me what I need to do please?Thanks

Hi there! Faced a problem, when opening pdf files, I get an error with the inability to extract the embedded font. The fonts can be different, for example (ARBAA + ARIAL, Unicode MS). After that, the file does not open. I get the files in Outlook.The latest version of the program. 2020.013.20064. Reinstalling the program did not help. Same problem on another computer. What could be the problem, can you tell me?Thanks!

Bonjour,We have a handful of users in our Windows 10 environment that experience an issue, many times a day, where Internet Explorer will freeze when launching an embedded PDF to view within the IE browser.They get an error with acropdfimpl.dll in the event viewer.It happens since october and an Adobe Reader DC update with 2020.013.20064 version. We can use another browser because that's the only browser that works with company website.It appears to be inconsistent but be can repoduce the issue when opening 10 or 20 PDF.The 2020.013.20064 is related to pb with IE : https://borncity.com/win/2020/11/13/adobe-reader-dc-sicherheitsupdate-nov-2020-verursacht-probleme-unter-sap/Adobe Reader uses 30% of CPU => IE freeze and we have to kill Adobe Reader process in the Task Manager. When we reopen the PDF file that crashed, it is systematicaly correctly displayed in IE. We tried many things :Uninstall Adobe Reader and install an older version like&nbsp

ADOBE ACROBAT READER DC: Recently, it starts updating by itself, and closing my tabs and restarting my laptop without permission. I am right in the middle of annotating documents and it closes the tabs and does not let me save. When turns back on it says that a file is recovered, followed by an error message that it could not open the file. It is SOO Annoying. I have lost an annotation of a doc 3 times in a day. Can someone help me stop the automatic restarts and installation? I DO Not want to Stop the updates, I want the APP to ask for MY PERMISSION. I have even marked this option during installation, but clearly, I am ignored.

HiWhen printing both a local PDF file and with Internet Explorer plugin, Reader does not remember I've changed size to "Fit".I have to do this every time I print a PDF file./Kim

On Acrobat Reader and need the Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Font Pack (Continuous) - For Acrobat Reader DC version 19.x extension desperately. Was prompted to download the pack upon opening the file, the link works but the pack refuses to be downloaded even after clicking the download button. Please help.
