Acrobat Reader

Hi all,I have an PDF document with some functionality. But this just works if the marked (photo) setting is deactivated. Is there a way to deactivate this setting if I ( or anyone else) opens the PDF document?   Thank you for your help

Greetings everyone! Im facing a problem. I am trying an display an PDF File insider my electron application. The PDF can be displayed. Now i would like to disable every kind of button/toolbar/navigaton. I found an document about the opening parameters but im not sure if its outdated: https://www.adobe.com/content/dam/acom/en/devnet/acrobat/pdfs/pdf_open_parameters.pdf I am opening the PDF with the following Parameters:"#view=Fit&scrollbar=0&toolbar=0&navpanes=0&statusbar=0" "statsbar=0" and "view=Fit" are the only params that are working and im wondering why? Screenshots in the Attachment.As you can see there are still some buttons to change the zoom and the scrollbar appers aswell. I would expect no buttons and no scrollbar, due to the param im using to open the pdf. If anyone has some ideas or a hint, that would be awesome! Simon

How do I create a password for a new document in Acrobat Reader.

Hope someone can help. I just recently noticed after the latest Catalina 10.15.7 update, that I can no longer get access to my Document Cloud files and it's really frustrating.Initially I had a problem where I could save or open any files from Acrobat, as when I tried I just got a black window when I selcted "Save as" or "open". I read on a help forum, to get around this, you have to go to "Preferences" - "General" then untick "Show online storage when saving" & "Show online storage when opening". This gits rid of the black "save" "Open" window but now I have no access to Document Cloud"Has anyone else having the same problems and is there a solution??

Hi, when i send pdf's via email the recipient receives the following message when opening the file.. Adobe Acrobat Reader could not open '- 11-18-2020.pdf' because it is either not a supported file type or because the file has been damaged (for example, it was sent as an email attachment and wasn't correctly decoded). How can i try to fix this issue?RegardsJustin

On load of the PDF in IE browser, the forms donot show up populated with data and the user has to click or resize the content on the form fields to see the data. Kindly suggest if anyone facing similar issues. What is the solution or workaround we can have in this situation. ThanksDillip

I can't understand why this is so complicated. I can't figure out how to delete a text box in Acrobat. I've read other posts that suggest you have to go into form mode but I don't see anything there either. So how do you delete? This seems ridiculously complicated for a simple action.

I have the latest version of Adobe Reader installed on a small terminal server using Windows 2012 r2. When I highlight a few PDF files and select the right click and print, Adobe seems to crash each time. Wondering if there was a setting that would cause this issue. I've included the screen capture of the error.

I cannot print because I cannot get my Acrobat Reader to open or read anything.  It has a (14) at the end of the message.

Outlook address book freezes when sending file from Acrobat Reader DC. steps to reproduce the problem:1. Open a pdf file in Acrobat Reader DC (Chinese Traditional 20.013.20066)2. Click "Send file by email" in Acrobat Reader DC3. Outlook message window pops up, click "Address Book"4. Click "Cancel"5. Click "Address Book" again, now it freezes when I'm trying to type in the search box: It seems "Adobe Acrobat 64BitMAPIBroker.exe" is causing the problem becauseit appeared in windows task manger after I've ended task for reader dc and outlook.  Tested on Windows 10, Outlook 2013 and Outlook 2019

We have a fillable savable form created with Adobe Acrobat 8 Professional. Sometimes the form emailed back to our office and opened in Reader Version 9 and it the form appears initially to be blank unless you click into the field - you can then see the data. However, you can't print the form with the data displayed. If using Reader version 8, then if you click the highlight button it acts like a toggle switch to view the data in the fields; however you still can't print. Any ideas on what is causing this and how we can fix it?

Where is Reader DC msi file please?

After we updated the Adobe reader dc to 2001320064, it take about 30 seconds to get the PDF view in IE11, normally it is came up instantly, we reversed to the old version 2001220048, no such issue. Disable "Protected Mode" does not work.  Still can't fix the issue.

In Windows 10 File Explorer on the icon views, I would like to see the first page display for pdf files rather than the generic pdf icon. In Windows 10 folder options I have the checkbox for “Always show icons, never thumbnails” unchecked. On the Adobe Reader preferences general tab, I have “Enable PDF thumbnails previews in Windows Explorer” checked. With those settings, I see thumbnails for a few of my pdf files but still see the general Adobe pdf icon for most of them. I have used Disk Cleanup to delete all my thumbnails to clear and rebuild the cache, but the problem persists. Do you have any idea why I’m still seeing icons instead of thumbnails for most of my pdf files?

I am trying to copy and paste the formulae from adobe acrobat reader dc to excel. on pasting some word or symbols are converted to english language from greek or original language, some subscript and superscript become normal. Do any one know how to copy and past such formulation correctly from adobe reader to excel perfectly. 

Hello everybodywe currently get some issue with ou Remote Desktop Server Windows 2016, when clicking on sharing tools in the top right of Acrobat Reader nothings happened, sometimes a blank menu is displayed or an error message appear, we try a full uninstall/reinstall, cleaning with Adobe Acrobat Cleaning Tool, %appdata%\Adobe removal, reconfiguration of mail client settings in Preferences, nothing seems to work.Thank you for your help

Hi We are receiving PDFs that require the Extended Asian Font Pack to be installed. When we get to the page to download, click on the download page and nothing happens. The page just refreshes and we cannot download.We are running this version of Adobe Acrobat.When we try to open a PDF that requires the font pack it directs us to this page https://supportdownloads.adobe.com/thankyou.jsp?ftpID=5508&fileID=5521 but the download does nothing.How can we get this to work. Have tried clearing the browser cache, used a brand new laptop, still unable to download, nothing happens. 

I got a pop-up message from adobe that the adobe reader will end on 12/31/2020, and asked to uninstall it now or later, anyone has gotten this message on your monitor? I contact customer service and they are not aware of it.

Hi, my pdf documents with a specific Celtic font Unical Antiqua is fine on Google Drive but when I upload them to my Memberpress Elementor website they can to another basic font which does not match the rest of my Course material. Weirdly when someone downloads them they return to the original font also went printed. The only change I can think of is that I signed up for Adobe DC since I created documents previously that were fine. Any ideas? 

Hi, I have the following problem with adobe reader. Namely, after signing the file with qualified signatures (2 representing people), I have information that one signature is incorrect Message content document has been altered or damaged since the last signature. The signer's identity is valid Interestingly, other pdf viewers do not show this error, and applications for creating qualified signatures also do not indicate the error. Please support what is wrong with adobe
