Acrobat Reader

Every time I try to launch Acrobat reader from the start menu I get this message:When I browse to the folder and double click on the AcroRD32.exe icon - I get the same messageWhen try to open a .pdf file by double clicking on it - I get the message that the file can't be found - even though I can open these files within a browserAgain - I can open these pdf files (with or without acrobat?) in my browser but it doesn't seem to work independent of an HTML browserI have uninstalled and reinstalled Acrobat Reader - please don't tell me to do that and let you know how it worked - it didn'tThanksNatasha

Servus das seit dem letzten Update neu entstandene Fenster "alle Tools" auf der linken Seite nervt. Man muss es bei jedem Dokument manuell schließen. Wo ist die zentrale Einstellung zum permanenten Ausblenden dieses Fensters (analog dem Werkzeugfenster)? Merci schon mal.

Yesterday I was playing around with adobe, right clicked a downloaded file, and checked a box that said something like "open all pdfs in acrobat reader". I soon realized this made all files open outside of chrome in adobe itself rather than the chrome extension. How do I reverse this? Its extremely inconvenient at the moment.thanks

Hello,Does anyone by chance know how to view two seperate pdf files on seperate monitors. I am trying to put each pdf in full screen mode on seperate monitors. When i try placing each on the seperate monitor and do full screen, one jumps to the other screen covering the other file already in full screen mode.   Hopefully that makes sense. 

I am running Adobe ACrobat Pro version 2025.001.20438 on Mac OS Sequoia 15.3.2.  When I try to add eSignatures ai M aable to fill out the receipents, including their names but when I go to place the fields the cursor remains a cross.  I am able to successfully add signatures to other files withoput problems.  I tried saving the file using Save As Other to a reduced size just to see if making some filel change would change the way eSignature was working, but no luck.  Suggestions?

I implore users to check their Chrome extensions as Adobe has been at it again with their auto install of their PDF reader Chrome extension. This happened back in 2017 much to the chagrin of many users and this motherf?cker of a company has started it again. A wireshark check shows the extension does track personal data. Not only does Adobe Reader auto updates itself without asking, it now adds the Chrome extension during the update. Adobe, you piece of scum, I hope you rot in hell! I will continue to post these warning in as many places I can think of because the more people know about this scum company, the better.

I navigate to an outlook email and open the PDF attachment sent. By default the document opens to Adobe. When in Adobe I select the highlighted printer button on the top right hand corner to print. The print preview window will open. On the print preview window when I select print on the bottom right hand corner the select a printer dropdown menu opens even though a default printer is set. Even if a printer is selected if I navigate to the print button on the bottom left hand corner the printer dropdown menu continues to expand once again. Each time the print button is selected it will expand the printer dropdown menu and not print the document. We have used numerous network printers and print to PDF and we get the same behavior. This is happening in integrated programs as well when trying to print a PDF. The only way to currently print a PDF is to save the PDF locally to desktop, downloads, etc. following the same steps navigating to the printer button and selecting print on the print

When printing a PDF using Acrobat Reader through "Adobe PDF" or "Network Printer," the text becomes garbled after a few printing pages.  Please provide me a solution to fix this problem

When I try to print an email to adoble, I receive the message:  The instruction at 0x000000005B6O8E6D referenced memory at 0.00000000000018.  The memory could not be read.How do I fix this? 

Hi Adobe Community, I’m currently managing a website where some users have reported issues opening or downloading PDF files directly from the site. The files are hosted properly, but on certain browsers or devices, clicking the PDF link either does nothing or shows an error. I’ve tested different embed methods, iframe options, and direct download links, but still facing inconsistency. as per the title i encounter this problem only on the desktop. if i copy the file into a folder the classic adobe icon returns. how is it explained and above all how is it solved? thanks

I've downloaded a PDF of an old magazine from the Internet Archive. Some of the pages are double page scans not scans of individual pages. I can't find a way to edit the pdf to split these double pages into individual pages using free tools on and offline. First world problem I know but I find it annoying. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I am using a Windows 11 Pro desktop and want to install Acrobat Reader 64 bit.  However, it always becomes Acrobat Reader 32 bit. How can I fix the problem?  What have I done wrong?

we are using adobe reader version 2025.001.20432 for our servers with RD Session role installed on server 2025.in this version, when I try to select any area in the pdf with the mouse, the page automatically turns to the right or left. do you have a solution for this problem?

Hi Everyone,We have an application that produces PDF reports of data, which are essentially just basic excel spreadsheets with a header section, then a table with column headers & ~10 columns. Our finance team receives these reports, and then copies each column to another external location as part of their workflow. The problem is, some of the individual cells in the table are blank/no value, and when they copy (using a mouse to manually select the data in whole columns at a time), then paste, these cells are ignored. So in a very basic example, a 2x3 Grid, with X's denoting populated cells:X, XX,X, X Copying the data from column 2 top down and pasting into excel should put an X in row 1, and 3, leaving row 2 blank. The issue is that the blank cell is being skipped and the data from row 3 windws up in row 2, which obviously throws off the destination sheet. Hence my question, is there a way to get Adobe to select the "empty" cells so the pasting function is a true representati

I am using MacBook Pro (updated) and Adobe Acrobat Reader DC and standard inkjet printer at home.I've noticed that my printer keeps printing the first page double-sided with a blank page because it prints the first page firstly. Normally, page 1 and page 2 will be printed double-sided together, but my page 2 goes with page 3, and page 4 with page 5, and so on, leaving page 1 alone. I have left the "reverse pages" unselected. It happens only when I use Adobe Acrobat Reader DC built-in print feature. How can I solve it?

Why are my paid tools  like not getting installed even though I am trying to install it since last 4 days on my Mac? 

When adding shapes by default the fill color was blank/none/transparent, but after I selected any color I can't unselect it to change the fill back to 'none'.What is the primary way of changing the fill color to 'none'?

For over a week now I've been having an issue open files from Recent. They show up, I select one, and the side tool bar doesn't have an "open" option as it used to. I open two or more, the "open" option appears, but doesn't work. I have to go to my computer's Finder, search for the files there, and open them again. I like the convenience of having recently opened files ready to go. But the search doesn't always work either, I'll type in something I KNOW I just opened, and it won't show up.I am not a paid member and have no intention of becoming one, I don't need all the functions. I just want a good PDF reader. But Adobe has been going downhill in that department for a long time.I am on a MacBook Air M1, 2020 with macOS Sequoia 15.3.2. It worked up until a week or so ago, now it doesn't. And don't tell me to try it on multiple devices, I don't have the time for that. This is the device I use so I expect it to work. Not too much to expect, IMO. 

Dear all I am new to this community I have an issue, and looking for a work ground or permenent solution We use an ERP application where we integrate all our operations in. ERP can generate reports in Excel and PDF and we were using Adobe reader 9.3.0  initially after new versions of adobe reader released,  layered reports (reports have links to run another report) are not running in new versions or in Pro versions but it runs in adobe reader 9.3.0is there any way we can use latest versions of reader , to open layered reports ?
