Acrobat SDK

When a document is OCR'd, Acrobat DC places paragraphs -- or what appears to be paragraphs -- in each own bounding box. This "feature" prevents me from copying several paragraphs or pages to paste in another application (i.e., email message).  This is not an issue in Acrobat X. Hi,I create documents in Indesign and then export to PDF to be placed on the web, but I've been experiencing problems with documents the past week or so; specifically, if I create a document that is A4 landscape, Chrome only displays the first page, it will not scroll. Bizarrely, if I rotate the page it 'reveals' the rest of the document, and then allows me to scroll through it.I have tried various page sizes and orientations and oddly this ONLY affects A4 landscape.The PDF's display fine in all other browsers.To eliminate issues, the same problem occurs when I create a PDF from MS Word (so it's not an Indesign issue)and I DON'T have a problem when I create a PDF using a different PDF maker (so not a Chrome issue)When I inspect the code for a troublesome PDF, I see there's a div id called "sizer" which is only recognising the size of the first page, and not the whole document as it does on PDFs which scroll correctly.When I change the size within the div tag, the scrollbar appears, but

Hey guys! I have a query. I have 2 dates and a text box calclating working days excluding sat and sun. Everything is working well unless i enter start date as sat or sun, the calculation then starts adding that sat or sun also. Example: (format: mm/dd/yyyy) Begin date: 04/09/2023(sunday) - End Date: 04/17/2023(monday) so W.Days should be 6 excluding the start date sunday but unfortunately I'm getting 7 days. Same problem is occuring when i enter start and end date as sat and sun then the entire calculation is messing up. I'm attaching the file and I'm not good with js, please if anyone can help me with the script 

I have a Military CAC that I am trying to use to sign a PDF document with.  I created the document and have tried multiple signature fields.  I have my CAC connected via an ActivCard reader and my computer is correctly reading the card.  I have verified that the certificate is present in the computer and that Adobe Acrobat Pro can see the certificate.  I am not given the option to sign with the card.  Am I missing something?   Thanks, Alex

Does Acrobat DC have the ability to Imposition pages into printer spreads?I'm creating a 4-page brochure in InDesign. Each page has a full bleed (.125"). Using InDesign's Export to PDF function, I can have it print Spreads, which marries p2 to p3 (removing the bleeds between them), but it leaves p1 and p4 isolated.Can I use Acrobat DC to marry p1 to p4 and remove the bleeds between their common edge?

0I'm using javascript in a pdf form, I have a dropdown that references a location. When the user selects that location, the form is supposed to populate with information related to the location. I have two issues:The issue is that only some locations are populating with the information related to the location. I can't identify why. When I put the info into a javascript tester, it comes back with no errors.I need the form to, when the user clicks on a blank location (as in, no location), the form clears any other information that populated from before. For example: I selected the location: Jasper and it populates with the Jasper information. But that was an error and I want to not have any information show up, I want to click on a blank in the drop-down and the form does not populate any information. Thank you!Cindy

I'm making Matlab manual pdf accessible. There are matrices and mathematical expression in the pdf which the screen reader does not read correctly. My approach in making it accessible is to convert such expression as image and then insert alternate text in it. Though this procedure reads the alternate text but later on it also reads the originally incorrect one.Post this, I have three queries:-1. How to rectify the incorrect and correct reading one after the other?2. Is this the correct procedure for such kind of issues?3. We are on a shared online-only pro account for work mostly via Google Chrome, but this has happened enough times to raise some concerns. Comments are supposed to auto-save as you insert them via text highlight or strikethrough. Some of my colleagues have reported that when they are working on a pdf and inputting comments, if they've closed the document or it refreshed hours later for whatever reason (computer went on sleep mode and returned, or wifi went down) the comments would all COMPLETELY disappear. The first few times this happened (both on PC and MAC computers), I implored my colleagues to manually save as they go. One did so today while working on their PC computer, stepped away (which subsequently went to sleep). Returned hours later to finish but discovered all of their comments had disappeared even the ones from before they clicked save and now the comment dock just says GET STARTED as if nothing had never been input. Has this happened to anyone else? Is it possible to create a webform that can send to the email based on the selection made from a dropdown box. I have found several articles that look similar. I have created the dropdown box, added the email as the export value but I'm missing something or the syntax is incorrect. The export value is just the email correct? Or does mailto: need to proceed the email address. Thanks.

An author wants to use Minion Pro for his manuscript for a paperback book. I embedded the font in the Word file, but when saving as a pdf, the font won't embed and there are problems uploading it to the printing system. The only option it to rasterize it, which makes it blurry. I purchased a subscription to Creative Cloud and synced the Minion Pro font versions to my computer, but it STILL won't embed into the pdf. What do I do?

I'm new to doing anything in Adobe other than just reading a pdf.. so I apologize. I've searched this forum and I've been able to get close to what I want but something just isn't working and I think it's my dumbness... hahaOk here's what I'm trying to do. I'm making a form and I want to pick a town from the drop down and it populate a street address in a text field and populate an image of that address's signature at the bottom. Example: Selecting New York, NY in my drop down would auto fill 123 example st in the text field and my signature image will pop up... buthten if I select Los Angeles, Ca in the drop down the text box would change to 456 Hollywood Dr and my signature would hide and my friend's would become visible.  I've got it  up until I make a different selection and the now non selected signature doesn't return to hiding... so then I end up with both images visible... Help? please?
