Acrobat SDK

I've linked multiple PDF files within one PDF file, when I send it to someone in the office, the links won't open for them. I thought it may be that the end user has "Acrobat Reader" only but that isn't the case.

I have recently installed Adobe Acrobat XI (v 11.0.06) on my windows 10 pc.  Each time I open up a PDF, I get asked if I would like to have Acrobat be my default app, and after indicating affirmatively, I get this error message:Meanwhile, windows 10 wants to make Edge my PDF viewer, which I "do not want."  Ideas?thx!

Hello to all.In Adobe Acrobat PRO X, I have created an action wizard and the last step saves all PDF files in an existing folder.I would like to know if I can combine two PDF files into one if there is another file with the same filename, instead overwrite it.Thanks

I have adobe acrobat Pro 11 version 18 installed on my Windows 7 x64. Suddenly PDF is sporadically slow to open in Preview Pane.  I heavily rely on that to do my daily tasks. Any other files would open very quickly.  Adobe has been uninstall then reinstalled. I rolled back to previous version like 16 and 17 but none of these work. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this?

I have Adobe Acrobat 8.1.0 Standard. It has been working fine but the function to create PDF files from document files has suddenly stopped working. How can I fix this without buying a new prodict which seems to be the only option?

How do I set up a field on pg 1 of my form for the user to enter a name and then that information autofills in a "name" field on all susequent pages?  User cannot access the name field on any page except page 1 when they enter it.

When I try to sign with my certificated signature Adobe is blocking and I must close the application only from Task Manager. I tried from two computers and is same and application CERF is open and block Acrobat . I have nothing changed in configuration and I have signed with my digital certificate  few days ago

when I open Acrobat it doesn't launch a loading screen and the program never starts up...

The new GWG2015 PDF standard will become the standard profile for creating and checking PDF files in several (European) countries. But why is it still not available in Adobe applications? It stops with GWG2012. But GWG2012 has never been officially introduced in the market as standard, in contrast to GWG2015 which is an official standard. Why doesn't it show up in the Adobe presets? I'm especially interested in the GWG2015 Acrobat preflight. Creation settings I can obtain from the GWG site.Does Adobe has the intention to make the GWG2015 standard available? And when will that be?Thanks!

I am using Acrobat Pro XI Version 11.0.18 running under Windows 10.I have a PDF document with a button and a MouseUp action that creates a data object (via doc.createDataObject). The action works fine until I certify the document. With a certified document, I get the following error message:NotAllowedError: Security settings prevent access to this property or method.Doc.createDataObject:673:AcroForm:Button1:Annot1:MouseUp:Action1According to the documentation for createDataObject (column 4: Availability for this function is ‘D’) the document “requires file attachment rights”. How do I grant file attachment rights to a PDF document that is certified? - john

When I try to do this from Windows Explorer, an Adobe window opens and a progress bar appears.  Then after a bit, it disappears and the pdf is never created.

Hello, I have make a form with Adobe Pro XI. (The form is saved as a Reader extended pdf)  The users must fill in this form and at the end they must sign it with a digital signature. Because the user must send this form by e-mail, I have make a button (with the following options):Mouse Down: => Show/hide a field (I have selected (hide) the button field).  Mouse Up: => Submit a form  (to a standard email address, with standard sublect).Now my problem if I click on the button, the button removes (is not visible anymore) and outlook make a new e-mail message and placed the pdf form in the attachment of the  e-mail. This is exactly what I want, but after I have send the mail and open de pdf, the button is visible again Is there a solution that the button will remove (not shown) after use?  The users will use adobe reader.  I think it's only possible with a javascript. But I don't know how to write the script. Is there anybody that can help me with that?

Hi,We have used the PDF compare feature for about 5 years now, it has its issues but it has become a very important part of our signoff procedure with our clients.The problem is its always had a problem with generating false changes when comparing certain documents. This is frustrating but you could always manually delete out these unwanted comments..... until the latest update!This is a real issue as there seems to be no way to remove unwanted comments generated by the compare process, you can right click the comment but the delete is greyed out.I cannot start sending my clients PDF compare documents with incorrect comment markups!Am i missing something?Hope someone can help.

Recommendation please.Need to create a multi page interactive document with buttons etc, but for online use. Similar to an interactive PDF, but not to be downloaded.

I have created a PDF form, and submitting the data as html. The submission works but Acrobat / Reader would display an error "An error occurred during the submit process. Cannot process content of type text/html". The API is a cloud version and we cannot change the header type. I would like to add a simple popup/alert that tells the user ALL IS WELL. I'm making fillables and need a division formula. I use the simplified field notation twice in the fillable. In most of the fillables made till now is only one of the two division formulas working right. . Sometimes field "total target" with division formula "field2/field1" works  and sometimes field "total competences" with division formula "field4/field3".  If I use the preview and delete some data in by example the total target fields, there is sometimes an error "the value entered does not match the format of the field "total competences", while there is no relation between these formulas. What's going wrong?

Acrobat 9 pro does not recognize my canon mg 6620 so that I can scan wirelessly, how can I fix this or is it not fixable?

Did the same OCR with pro and got acurate text. Using same file using Acrobat DC and it recognizes the glyphs but word spaces in wrong location.This is what the PRO version a Acrobat returned."Manufactured from special alloy steel that is differentially heat treated to help toughness."

scanning using ADF with double-sided pages.BACK of EVERY page is upside-down.Never had or seen this before.  Using Epson XP-830 (and epson won't even address it).

HiWhen a password-protect a fillable PDF form on my desktop, then save it to document cloud, some form fields (like text fields and buttons) lose their functionality when I open them on my iPad. This does not happen when I do not password-protect the documents. I need my documents password-protected though. How do I overcome this issue?ThanksRyan
