I am unable to find how to count number of pages in a pdf document.Can anyone assist?

In past several weeks, acrobat X started kicking out error message when trying to combine word docs into pdf file by drag and drop.I can open the individual word doc, select the acrobat tab and select create pdf just fine. However if I try to drag the word doc into the "combine files into pdf" box I get "error during processing of file"  and  "encountered unidentified error" messages.  My IT dept uploaded XI and still has same issue.

Use Acrobat XI Pro to creat PDF.  Not sure if I push some button, the PDF image suddenly become very small.  It's around 1/10 of a A4 paper.  Image convert from Word 2007.   Function normally with Powerpoint.

After a Windows 10 update my Acrobat 8.1 requires phone activation, which is no longer supported.  Going to help, activation, the app says that it is already activated.  But Acrobat doesn't function beyond Reader capabilities.  HELP!

When I make a PDF and send it to my email, the program inserts the file number in the subject line of the email with Emailing before the file number (Emailing - 123456 ) How do I get rid of the word emailing so all I see is the file number (123456) The reason being when the pdf's are returned to me I want them to sort numerically. TIA

I have seen where the font in the source PDF is not the same as in the received PDF.

"save as PDF" results in an empty box. Help!

After upgrading a laptop from Win7 to Win10, each time I open Acrobat I get "Licensing for this product has stopped working.  You must uninstall and the reinstall....)  I no longer have the original CDs (too many years).  Is there a way to extract the license number before uninstalling so I can reuse it when reinstalling?

Using Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro  and it consistently crashes. The Mac I am using is OS X El Capitan, Version 10.11.6 (15G1004)Acrobat quit unexpectedly. Code type is XB6 (Native) and the exception type is: EXC_CRASH (SIGABRT)  the application specific information is "terminating with uncaught exception of type std::runtime_error: CMutexObj::CMutexObj init lock error - : No such file or directory"Any ideas folks?

Here was my scenario and solution. Acrobat installed in the past on our Terminal Server with no issues.  Over time and updates and multiple user profiles it had bloated to 8GB. I uninstalled all things Adobe and installed a sparkly fresh Acrobat XI Std. 'Print to PDF' was creating .pdf's that couldn't be deleted or renamed without the 'This file is opened in Acrobat' locked file messages. To clear I would have to open Task Manager and manually kill the Acrobat.exe process, thus releasing its lock on the file (not a workable solution for our non-administrator users).  The problem was this... Normal operation is to select 'print to pdf', name the file, and after clicking 'Save' Acrobat would create the .pdf file and lastly open the just created pdf on screen.  Its this last step that was causing the issues.I finally noticed that after creating the .pdf and its icon appearing on the screen, Acrobat didn't automatically open to display it (hung process).  You could doub

Using Windows 10, I installed Adobe Acrobat Pro DC. When I try to Print to Adobe PDF, the print dialog hangs up. What can the problem be?

I am using Windows Vista Buisness SP1.I have checbked the Acrobat DC website, and I cannot download it as Windows Vista is not supported. As far as I know, I can only download Adobe Reader 9. I have tried to search for the Adobe Reader 9 installation file, but all I get is UPDATE files. Can anyone tell me how to install Adobe Reader 9 or any Adobe PDF Reader compatible with Windows Vista Buisness SP1?

Using Lenovo laptops, Windows 10, Office 2016 and Adobe DC.  With a multi-page PDF open and displayed, the keyboard shortcut - Ctrl+Shift+Delete - to Delete Page does not work.  Granted, we can take hand off keyboard, grab the mouse, expand the left panel, click Thumbnails, right-click a page and select Delete. Much more cumbersome than simply pressing Ctrl+Shift+Del which has always worked in prior versions. Any suggestions regarding why the shortcut does not work when viewing the page to delete?

I have a licensed version of Adobe creative suite 5.5 master collection  ( cd format) running on mac book pro 2011 model. However if I try to install adobe acrobat x pro it gives me error - Exit code 6 at the end of the installation. All the other software can be reinstalled and it's only for acrobat that I seem to get an error.Tried uninstalling all adobe software and reinstalling but adobe acrobat seems to still give me this problemAny help is appreciated. When I create a PDF and ask to save it with a new file name, many times it is getting saved as a an already existing file. That is, instead of creating a new file, an older file somewhere on my PC is getting overwritten. This is happening almost always, not always.Does anybody have a solution to this?Thanks.

Hello all,I have 2 textboxes (T1 and T2) where values will be predefined in advance by reader. Is there any way to populate values of T1 and T2 depending on choice of a dropdown menu  to textbox T3? That means if reader chooses value T1 in dropbox menu , then value of textbox T1 should be populated in textbox T3  and vice versa.thanks in advance for your comments and ideas.Depending of dopbox menu choice, copy textfields values to another textbox

PC, Windows 10, the latest Acrobat Pro, updated.I tried saving a doc under a different name and the pop up window for "save as" did open, but all I was seeing was the "box" trying to load, without much success. Eventually I gave up, copied the doc, and renamed it, edited it and then saved it on top of its old self.But the fact remains that the "save as" does not work on my computer.Any help?

In Acrobat 9 you could right click on a select area in a PDF and get a menu that included "open as a table", I do not get this option using Adobe Acrobat DC. Has the functionality been removed?
