I  have purchased a new computer, but when I log in to my Adobe account it wants me to purchase again. Is this correct?

Using Adobe Acrobat 11 Pro, when I create a single PDF file from individual searchable PDF files, the consolidated PDF file is no longer searchable. Is there a setting in Acrobat 11 Pro that handles this?

I have a 2 page PDF with the second page having columns of numbers 1-240 with a field next to each for the manufacture date. The first page has a field for the "number of units" and one for the "manufacture date". I would like the date on the second page to autofill with the date entered on the first page but only for the "number of units" entered on the first page. Is this possible?  Any help would be great.

I want to install Acrobat ReaderDC. I go to Acrobat reader DC Installer, start the progress but it fails to install stating "Newer Version already installed". I cannot find Acrobat reader on the computer using Control Panel, Programs and Features, and cannot find any Acrobat Reader installed. The computer certainly doesn't open PDF's. What is wrong?

Hello folks,When opening a PDF portfolio, its cover page shows up for 4 seconds and then disappears. Is there any way to control the time during which the cover page appears on the screen, possibly with JS? The time is defined somewhere, I just can't figure out where it's defined.Thank you for your input in advance!

I'm interested in using the "send for comments" or another collaborate function of acrobate as an approval workflow.  If one of the members has additional content to add to the file, is there a way to "combine files"  without it becoming a new binder? (the new binder isn't what is already shared with everyone)Thank you!

I have DC Standard 2015. Trying to remove author identification from markup/comments. Adobe's help says to go to "Tools", then "Redact", but I don't have a "Redact" toolset. All I see are Create, Edit, Export, Comment, Organize Pages, Enhance Scans, Protect (which doesn't seem to have what I want), Fill & Sign, and Prepare Form.

When any pdf is opened the selection tool is enabled and does not allow the hand tool to be enabled.  As a result when the cursor clicks anywhere in the document it is selected and the selection will continue where ever the cursor is moved in the document.  In addition this also locks up Acrobat to the extent it has to be shutdown in the task manager.  This started several weeks ago and the only fix I found was to reimage the computer.  It worked fine for several days and then started doing this again after working normally for several days.  I would appreciate any suggestions on how to correct the problem so that I don't have to keep reimaging the computer.  I have done the following in an effort to correct the problem.Document:  Select "Restore last view settings..."General:  Select all three "Make Hand tool..." optionsAccessibility:  Deselect "Always display the keyboard selection cursor"The computer is running Windows 7 64bit Enterprise.

Hi,I have to reinstall my Adobe Acrobat after reinstalling my computer. I now tried 5 times to reinstall it, from the home page, from my adobe account as well as the trial version. Always I am be told there is a problem after roundabout 17 % of the download and it stops. What can I do?ThanksEva

I have multiple PNG image files to be combined as single Pdf. but when tried to combine say the above error. I tried to figure it out. this error and found it might be due to PNG 24 bit depth file type. I want to ask are there any customized setting to combine 24 bit depth PNGs as pdf. whether these files are supported files in Acrobat. Remember 32 bit depth PNGs have no problem to be combined as Pdf. Thanks.Its not on any Network but on my laptop 64 bit windows.

I have a column labeled "Number of Round Trips" for a monthly mileage report.  Each field is labeled Trips1 through Trips31.  I need to be able to calculate the number of days the vehicle is used.  It would be an easy calculation if there were 30 - round trips and only one - 1/2 trip.  How would one configure the JavaScript so that each 1/2 trip calculates as 1 day?   For example, how can I calculate 27- round trips and 4 - 1/2 trips to be 31 days and not 29 days?

Is there a way to combine Multiple PDF Files that contain Digital Signatures in Adobe Acrobat X? I am currently getting Errors when I try to combine these PDFs and then the PDFs won't get combined. Apparently the Portfolio Option is not an Option with Adobe Acrobat X Version.

I am not seeing a markup tool on my screen, nor does just selecting with the arrow (as suggested in another Q & A) show mark up. Am I missing something?Thanks!

I work for the Wisconsin State Journal. We subscribe to a service that archives past issues. We've found recently that many of these PDFs have a gray overlay, aren't as sharp as they used to be, and are giant files (21 MB versus 3 or 4 typically). I assume it has something to do with how they're scanned in, but is there a way, after the fact, that we can remove what appears to be a screen over the pages? When I rapidly re-size the files (Control+wheel), the gray disappears for half a second and I see clean black-and-white text, so it must be some sort of layer. We've tried working with the folks who scan the documents to see if the problem is being caused on their end, but in the meantime can we do something as the end users?Here are two snips: The first shows how the pages used to look, and should look; the second shows the gray overlay.

Since everyone has different numbers of schools to enter,  I would like it to only generate enough fields in the form to have all schools attended plus another form space.Thank you!

I am trying to convert a PDf Document into word, I use to be able to do it with no trouble but now every time i try it comes up with an error . " An Error Occurred while trying to access the service" I can not seem to get any help. I am running windows 10 if this helps and i have paid my Subscriptions. Any Suggestions.

HelloI am using the adobe acrobat pro version 8 on my Macbook pro. I think acrobat pro 8 is an old version but  it's been running quite ok for a long time.Only recently and probably after upgrading to El Capitan, Acrobat started to crash everytime I try to edit preferences on my docs, such as changing the comments properties.What should I do? should I upgrade to the most recent version? Which one? Should I run permissions repair? should I uninstall the application?Thank you!

Hi I tried to install the acrobat Pro DC Classic w/ serial number into my Mac OS X 10.10.5. Everytime at the last section, it showed "Installation Failed...." But the software has already been installed inside. Software is working but Only thing is when I click on "check for update" it will show screen "Update Failed... error 301"Before I install this new version, I have completely uninstalled my previous version of Acrobat Pro 9 and Acrobat Ready. Hi experts.I need to print a PDF document (a contract) : pages 1 to 5 for the client and pages 1 to 2 for the reseller, using a different layer to display some relevant infos.Regarding client's choices, sometimes I must print page 6 and/or page 7 too (technical sheets).This cause several print jobs to be sent to the printer, maximum in this case is 4.Usually this is not an issue, but…Resellers works for a company where you must insert a personal card in any printer (several on each floor) to get printed sheets.This cause 2 issues:- sometimes the user just get the first print job (5 pages on 3 sheets, as the printer's screen said) and forget following sheets… OK, it's a human bug, but it's an issue too since they are wasting time.- users print accounts increase their number of printing regarding the number of printed jobs (not regarding the number of sheets, but it make sense here): they are penalized.So my question is:Can I easily merge several print jobs into one before sending to the
