Acrobat SDK

I have this code and I want to add subfolder to the code so the output files will go in a subfolder named pdf. I have several thousand PDF files, most of them have OCR text embedded. I am using Acrobat 9 Pro and am not able to use the Save As or Export functions to save the text into a text file. I have done this in the past, but this set of PDF files has renderable text that won't export or save to a text file. Because I have over 5,000 files, I need to use the batch conversation, but I can't get the text to export. I am able to open an individual PDF file, select text and then copy the text to a notepad file, so I know that these files contain text. I'm just not able to export the text using the Save As or Export options. I appreciate any help!

I installed Adobe DC2015 on 10 new installed computer with windows 10 professional. They are attached at a domain-server. Now the problem: It doesn't matter which program i use (Word, Excel, Outlook, CAD) I alway get an error-massage when I print a document with the "Adobe PDF"-printer. In German the message is: Fehler beim Drucken an Adobe PDFThe pdf-file is created and I can open it without any problems with Adobe DC, but the error message deranged and the printer spooler isn't empty!Thank's for your help

After extensive searching I ended up here.I have PDF files of 3D mechanical models created in drafting software. Many elements of the models are not visible in the PDFs, but they are still in the file, resulting in very slow rendering and large files. How can I discard the invisible elements and merge the remaining elements into a single object. Photoshop has Merge Visible but I have not found an Acrobat function that does the same thing. The Flatten Page Javascript doesn't seem to do anything with these kinds of images.The only workaround I've found so far is to save the file as a raster image, but obviously the quality suffers quite a bit, so I much prefer keeping the original vector data.I am using Acrobat 7 Pro on WinXP SP-3. I know I'm living in the stone ages, but this is quite sufficient for what I'm doing.Thanks

I am updating a company form that was originally created in Livecycle Designer, by a user who has left the company, which had an attach image button.  The company purchased acrobat pro dc for me, thinking that I would be able to update the form, however it is not able to be edited and so I re-created the form in pro dc.I can have the user insert a PDF image using the javascriptevent.target.buttonImportIcon();However not being a javascript familiar, and still learning acrobat, this is as far as I can get in the previous forums before I get lost.The javascript works fine to get the image, however doesn't clear once the reset form or submit form buttons are used.Can anyone please give me simple and clear instructions on how to do this?P.S.  Adobe website does not mention anything about not being able to edit livecycle designer forms in other versions of acrobat, so I am already very frustrated.  Therefore please make replies newby friendly.

Under the Comments/Annotations/Stamps: What's the difference between Accounting Tickmarks and Previous Accounting Tickmarks? Is there a legend that explains what all of these tickmarks mean? Some are obvious, but some I can't figure out.

If this has been answered somewhere else in the forum I apologize in advance. Is it possible to create a PDF that checks a server for the latest version? Ex. It checks a server or DC to see if it the document opened has the same version number.  If it does, take no action. If not, pop up a message informing the user that it's been updated and would they like to update to the latest version.The issue I'm trying to solve is ensuring that readers have the latest version of a catalog or manual.Thanks for your help!

Since today the Adobe Acrobat Pro stopped printing PDF. Wednesday last week it was still possible to print open PDF documents to new documents.The Software Printer still successfully prints a test page but wether we try to print from Word, Outlook or Acrobat itself it seems to start printing but the printing que is empty.There a now errors in the event log. Running "as Administrator" doesn't help either.Any tips?

My client wants all personal information to be secured/encrypted once it's been entered by the applicant—there is a submit button and signature field on the PDF. My coding skills are limited—to say the least—and I'm not sure how to go about securing information that is being entered by another party and being forwarded on.Any help would be appreciated!Thanks!

I recently purchased a new computer because my old one crapped out.  Back in June I purchased and installed Acrobat Pro DC on my old computer.  I downloaded and installed the program on my new computer using the serial number I have from when I originally purchased it.  When I try to use the program, I keep getting an error saying "Your request could not be completed. Adobe Acrobat DC license has either expired or not been activated.".  What does this mean?

Acrobat Reader DC & Windows 10 Aniversary.After new version installed, have a problem with a different printers (Hp, Brother, Samsung).Existing a driver or other solution?

Acrobat Installer encountered an unexpected failure.  Please try again.  I have tried 3 times.

I just installed the new version of Adobe Acrobat Standard DC.  In my previous version, which was admittedly many years old, I was able to add a text box and it was opaque, meaning I could use it to effectively white out (cover up parts of documents) and type over with different text.  With this new version, every time I add text, it's transparent and when I want to type over text or graphics, they show through. I can't find any way to change the properties of the textbox, just the text.Is this no longer an option?Thanks!

I have Adobe DC and I'd like to create a form so that if an individual completing the form click yes in an answer to a question, a further section of the form opens up, but, if the individual completing clicks 'no' they will see no change.  Is this possible?

Does Adobe Export PDF allow the user to scan a document in, edit it and save on your computer?  Also, if Adobe Export PDF is purchased but does not meet our needs can we upgrade to Adobe PDF Pack and will we get a credit based on what we paid for Export PDF?

I keep getting "A number is out of range (Page 1) when trying to "Save as" a JPG.  I'm running Windows and there is only 1 page in my document.
