Recently received: a number of suspicious e-mails from following senders mail@info.adobesystems.com with e.g. Subject Chef Kaz relies on Acrobatinfo@adobe-direct.com with e.g. Subject: Acrobat makes your work look great (Reply-address: 2255240-85796z@adobe-direct.com)info@adobe-direct.com with Subject: Acrobat X: het versnellen van terugkerende taken (Reply-address: 1867871-12279z@adobe-direct.com; message identified as possible SCAM) Are mails from these addresses reliable, or must I consider them SCAM, SPAM, or other malware?

I accidentally purchased the Adobe Pack thinking I would have the regular features of Standard.   Returned that and ordered and installed the Adobe Acrobat Standard DC but I still cannot edit or make format changes and comments on any PDFs.  Everything is ghosted out when I click the 'Edit' button.   I had Reader installed and ended up uninstalling just in case that was the issue.   Also selected Standard as my 'default' in preferences....still no luck.  How do I get the features of Standard to work...this has been 4 days of continuous frustration.  I just want to insert pages and make notes on a PDF.   Any help appreciated...

I have just downloaded Acrobat DC as a free trial but I'm being asked to get a licence. How do I get rid of this message and get trial to work

In previous versions, I can just save the PDF after highlighting the content.Now every time I try to save, the "do you want to save your change" prompt appears and I have to choose the file location and confirm overwrite.How do I set it to save to the original file as default?

I noticed this was discussed last year and supposedly fixed in an update. Well I'm seeing it now, Acrobat DC is crashing when in output preview window and a color is hidden. Anyone else seeing this? Already tried to trash preferences and start from a clean slate, still crashes.The setup is brand new iMac 27" Retina 5K, OS X 10.11.3, the latest Acrobat DC through Creative Cloud and Pitstop Pro 13.

Hello,I have buy the Acrobat X Pro product and have an annoying problem.Sometimes, I can't save my PDF files becaus the file is corrupt !  I have the errors 117 and 109.I will upload some screenshots when the problem appears again.I'm on a Windows 10 computer and the version of Acrobat is 10.1.16Do you have any solutions to fix this issue ? Hi!Does fillable forms have word limit? I want to add a lot of text in an unchangeable template, because I don't want to change the design of the template. Does anyone know if that is possible in Acrobat, or if there is a better program I could use (which is not word).Thanks

Good morning, We are runing Adobe Acrobat 7.0 Professional and it suddenly stopped working for one of our computer after a month after windows 10 installation. Somebody had the same problem and resolved it?

When I "print" a Word document as a PDF the fonts are embedded.  I'm assuming by doing this then it is possible to make the file editable.  If I take a picture of my document and save it as a PDF then, obviously, the fonts are not embedded.  I want to have a PDF like the second one, but as the document is several hundred pages long I don't really want to take a picture of each page.  Is there another way take the saved PDF and take out the font embedding?Thanks!

Could someone direct me to the settings for redaction of private information such as Tax File Numbers in Adobe Acrobat Pro XI. In Australia the Tax File Numbers can be 123 456 789, 123456789, 12 345 678 or 12345678 and by law we are not allowed to image documents with these numbers visible.I know how to redact manually but on some documents it redacts all monetary information as well as Tax File Numbers

When I try to convert file, it says PDF maker files are absent.  What can be done?

I create large agenda packages and often have to go in and edit. When I try to save the edited version it prompts me with that file already exists do you want to save over it, I say yes and then I get this message "The file may be read-only, or another user may have it open. Please save the document with a different name or in a different folder". I am the only person in the office who works on these documents so I know that is not the issue. My work around is to save with the same name_1 and then go back later, delete the original and change the name on the edited version. Any ideas?

Why does Acrobat Pro X only edit certain PDF files and not others? I would think it would allow text editing on all documents I scan, but it does not. What are the restrictions on which documents one can edit text and which one cannot(assuming all are PDF files)

I am running Adobe Creative Suite 6 Design and Web Premium 6 on Windows 7 and I cannot get a pdf to print with out some sort of activation process. Any ideas on what is preventing me from creating a pdf? Thanks

What is the difference between Acrobat that I get through Creative Cloud and the one you offer for sale as a separate license? The one in Creative Cloud is Acrobat Pro DC and it lets me edit and manipulate PDFs. Right? So why would I need Acrobat Pro as a separate license if I get it through the cloud?

I have created a form that contains a javascript button so pictures can be added to my form. The reader app on my ipad will not allow me to add the picture. How do i get this to work?

Does the recipient need Acrobat Pro DC? Or am I sending the form the wrong way? Creating forms from Word etc is the easy part and I like it.

Hello there Adboe community, We have a issue with adobe signature not populating for normal users. Our environment is server 2012 r2, adobe acrobat xi. A simple form with signature filed is made. Admin users on that server can see the signature filed pop up when clicked. But this will not work if a normal user account opens the form and try's to sign it. UAC is completely disabled.

I need to print numbered gift certificates, how do I add the numbering field in adobe acrobat pro?

I have to copy and paste data from an Excel spreadsheet into a fillable .pdf form created by the government. I've noticed that when I copy and paste, it adds an extra space to each field in the .pdf form. That's not a problem except for one field on the form and that's the date. When I paste, it adds an extra space and the form states invalid date and won't accept unless I backspace to delete the extra space. That doesn't seem like much except for when you have 3000 entries then it's tiresome. Is there some way to fix this so it doesn't add the extra space to each field?

I want to know if anyone knows a way to merge a document to a PDF and attachit to an outlook E-mail...   with more than one recipient.I have created contact groups and can merge those to E-mail.. using Word..but when I use the Adobe plugin it says cannot insert e-mail address.

I have created digital signature fields, saved as Reader extended pdf. When opening in Reader X 10.1.0  the field is showing, hovering over it says unsigned Signature fieldm(Click to sign) but the Signature box will not pop up. I called a company that helps with application issues, they said to update to 2015.017. I download a new Acrobat DC from the Adobe website hoping this would give me the latest version but it does not. There are 12 updates that need to be applied from your site. Is there a way around downloading and installing each one of these individually.Thanks much.

I want to merge dozens of sheet music books into one master book with a table of contents and bookmarks to individual pages.  What is the easiest way to do this?  I know how to merge documents.  But can I automatically place bookmarks on each individual page? I assume that later I would have to edit each bookmark to create a table of contents, but it would save time if I could at least automatically place a bookmark on top of each page.  (Most of the music is just one page, and it wouldn't take too much effort to delete bookmarks in the instances where the music was multiple pages.)  Ideally, I would also like to have the ability to sort the music into categories, by using tags or additional bookmarks.  For example, the music will include different genres.  Is there something I can do that will allow me to sort into categories instantly (like can be done in an Excel spreadsheet)?

When saving a Word file as a PDF, the resulting PDF has weird boxes in some table cells (and words that aren't in the Word doc). Any ideas how to fix this? Another person saved the PDF from the same file and did not have this issue.See images below.
