I used the CustWiz1501620039_en_US_DC for creating an MST file for Acrobat DC installation and the registry settings I configured were not always deployed.Sometimes the key was not created, sometimes the key was created with the wrong value and sometimes the key that neded to be removed was not removed.Is this a known issue?

Hello! This morning I used my beloved Adobe Acrobat 9 to edit a work document to a contract that had a deadline of this evening. I went back to continue editing it this afternoon and Adobe Acrobat 9 no longer worked and sent me a message stating I must uninstall it and reinstall it. So, I did. When I try to reinstall it I get this message:The upgrade patch cannot be installed by the Windows Installer service because the program to be upgraded may be missing, or the upgrade patch may update a different version of the program. Verify that the program to be upgraded exists on your computer and that you have the correct upgrade patch.What's a patch? I just want my Adobe Acrobat 9 back just like it was this morning. It worked perfectly!

I would like to add meta tag on the pdf file.  It is grey out when I try.   I have all of my pdf numbered but now I want to add what the document contains.Also is there a way to view the pdf in window explorer instead pdf icon??

Hi, is it possible to print only the pages of a Form that have field data completed?  I know you can select the pages manually but is it possible for the software to recognise that a page has data filled in therefore print?  Thank you

Hey Guys,I'm using the current version of Adobe Acrobat Reader DC, the free, non-pro version. It's the latest version of the software (Ver: 2015-017-20053). I'm running Windows 7 Pro 64x. I have an account, and each day I see my name in the upper right-hand corner. When I click the pull-down triangle next to my name, it shows two options, My Account and Log Out. I'm reading a PDF Textbook that is password protected against copying. The only changes I'm making to the PDF are highlighting some text and adding sticky notes. I can easily save the changes (highlight passages as I read the book) locally to my hard drive. I am using Adobe Acrobat 9.0.0 Pro. When I try to "Save As" a document, I am unable to edit the Save In folder by typing or pasting in the path -- I can only get around by using the dropdown function. I am always changing save folders to remote places in my company's network, and it takes about 20+ clicks to get to the correct folder. Surely there is a way to edit the file path manually?Also, just to clarify -- I am not looking to change the default save folder, which is the only type of similar question I found with a Google search. I need to add 60 days to a date and then roll it forward to the next first of the month.  Date format is mm/dd/yyyy.  Original date field is "Hire Date".

How can I print  a number of copies of a document (Y) and add custom text at the bottom "Page X of Y" where X is the number of the copy printed 1, 2,...7.. etc.?

When I am printing a PDF plan drawing it prints off center. Creates a margin on the left which ends up cutting off the right side of the drawing.

For two straight days I have password protected a PDF to require a password to open the document.  Immediately after I set the password up I can close the file.  Then reopen it  . . .enter the password and the file opens.  The next day however when I go to open the file and the enter password prompt comes up.  I enter the password and I get the error.  Incorrect password.  It has nothing to do with caps on.  It just refuses to accept the password.  I never have experienced this problem until ADOBE DC.  It is creating a huge problem, particularly with older PDF that have been password protected.  That is why I tested with a new PDF file.  Anyone know why this happens or how to correct it?  Thanks Doug

Hello together,i´m wondering if my actual workflow is the right one.For example:I create all the layouts with InDesign.All images are included as cmyk file.I read some threats where some people recommend to keep images in rgb.They recommend to convert the images on pdf export menue.It would be great to know the right way for working with images.I will be very happy with some good solutions.Thanks

I have a large document that we are printing double sided.  Several pages needed to be rotated.  No problem.  Saved file.  Everything looks fine on the screen and print preview.  When I send it to the printer the pages that I have rotated print with the rotation as prior to changing/saving the file.  Tried multiple computers and multiple printers.  Also checked the print drivers.  Am now having trouble extracting pages, error: Bad parameter.  Afraid file is corrupt.  Will take hours to rebuild the file.

So I have this PDF form with several fields. The form I am working with is being used as a vehicle check-in sheet and the area in question is the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) section. When I combine pdf document “A” (10 pages) with pdf document “B” (50 pages) I get 1 of 2 warnings: either “expected a string object” or “bad parameters.” The resulting document “C” is (in this example) 59 pages with page 1 of document “B” missing.

i have an issue trying to print adobe documents> i always get a program not responding message> i have reloaded adobe a couple times and have the latest version. any ideas???

I am having problems printing email batches to PDF off of Microsoft Outlook.  When I attempt to do so, a window pops up saying I don't have the most up to date flash player.  However, downloading the most up to date flash player does not remedy the problem.  In the end, I only get the first page of the first email of the batch PDF'd.  I have had my IT guy look into the issue and he cannot figure it out.

Good Morning,I appreciate everyone taking the time in looking at this post. I am trying to calculate multiple fields in a PDF Form based on the imput of a user. The fields that are basic addition are calculating fine. The issue I am running into is when I try to subtotal multiple fields and divide by .35 to create the margin on the numbers. This division by .35 is not calculating. Can someone please let me know what I am doing wrong? I am using the "Simple Field Notation" to try and do this. I have tried adding a new field (didn't work) and just dividing the number by .35.  Please see screen shots.

I recently upgraded my operating system from 10.6.8 to 10.11.6.I've kept Acrobat 9.5, because I like the arrangement of tools much better than in later versions.However, with the later OS a new problem emerges. When I have the Properties Bar displayed and click on a text box or callout box, all the second row tools stay the same size but the opacity box becomes 10 times larger! The ribbon containing it increases as well. Even when there's no current selection, once the Opacity box balloons it stays gigantic throughout the work on that pdf. This causes the whole page to jump around while I wait for it to settle down. I know of three other people who have had this problem, so I'm hoping that others have found a solution. I've explored removing the opacity box but can't see how to do that; the properties bar seems on/off, no customization. Thanks for your help. Kirsten

I cant read sldpart files (solidworks), i get an error mesage number 19, what can i do?

I cannot get my Adobe Acrobat Pro 11 to update. Says it cannot connect to server. Says error 1042, cannot connect. Anyone else has the problem or know how to ensure my version is the latest? I am running Sierra as a beta but this problem was also occurring during the latest public version of El Capitan.
