With the Acrobat Sign September 2024 Release, Adobe is raising the bar for electronic signatures by providing one of the best-in-class document viewing experiences. On top of that, Adobe is changing the way agreements are authored and sent for signature to delight its users and make Acrobat Sign even more intuitive. Time for a change of technology When it comes to getting an agreement filled and signed, signers have been victim to technology limitations of the market. To be specific, what signers are presented with was simply an image of the document with different form fields on an additional layer to fill in information and sign the agreement. With these limitations in document rendering, users are exposed to accessibility disadvantages in the form of pixelation when zooming in and limited support for screen readers that could not access the content of the document, but only the information included in the form fields. Hi all, I'm looking into a solution for a specific case a client is requesting. This client wants the assistant to be able to sign on behalf of the director. When the director delegates the document to be signed by the assistant, the assitant can sign it but it will be signed in the name of the assistant. My client wants the assistant to be able to sign, but with the signature and the name of the director displayed and not that of the assistant. Is there a solution to this problem or another way that would be better? Or is this simply not possible? Thank you!
Hello, Question about adobe sign templates and the use of power automate with those templates. I am attempting to make dynamic signature gathering. (May have 5 signers but may have 4) Does the order number in power automate correspond to the participant number in adobe sign template? I have a dynamic flow that is able to change the order filter dynamically but doesn't seem to matter with the template. Order 1 and 3 seems to always go participant signature 1 and 2 ( I need it to go 1 and 3). Any ideas on how I can achieve this? Thanks,-T
Hello, I encounter an issue with workflows when a user needs to sign a document more than once. I was able to replicate the issue with the user and what appears to happen is the following: Signer 1, Initial signature works fine and the document gets passed to the next person, this is updated on the Adobe Acrobat Sign "Manage" dashboard. Signer 2, Next person signs the document and now previous person needs to sign the document again, this is updated properly in the manage dashboard.Signer 1 and SIgner 2 can see that the document needs to be signed by Signer 1 again, but Signer 1 does not have the option to Sign the document via the Manage dashboard. Only way around this seems to be that the signature request email does appear to go out even though the Manage dashboard does not reflect this. If the user uses the link in the email then they are able to sucessfully sign the document and the workflow continues. Is there something I am doing wrong or something

Using Acrobat Pro desktop app. When I try to drag my signature into the document (which I have done MANY times) I'm getting a gray box istead. This feature is working in the online CC app, but I need to get it fixed in my desktop app. I have tried rebooting. Instead of my signature, this is what I see now. Any thoughts?
Is there a way in Adobe site to CC receipients after I sent the document for signature? It's currently in Out for Signature status. I couldn't find a place to do this under Manage Documents.
I've been struggling with Adobe Acrobat Sign (trouble started this week). When I try to add a signature field to my PDF, the desktop app crashes. I've attempted to uninstall/reinstall the app, restart my machine, and re-creating the PDF...nothing works. I was able to go to the online version and upload the PDF, then apply the field (it crashed the first time) bit worked on try #2 after a long wait period. I feel like something is buggy since the interface changed. Using the online version is OK but not the experience I want. I like the desktop interface much better. Any suggestions?
It worked up until about 20 minutes ago and now everytime I try to use fill & sign the entire program crashes. I made sure my settings are correct, that the program was up to date, etc. but nothing is making the program not crash.
Is an Adobe e-signed document saved on Adobe's servers? I have sensitive data and want to know that I can bypass having it saved by Adobe.
I recently updated to Acrobat Pro DC and I am unable to use Fill & Sign. When I try to request signatures I get Access Denied: You do not have access to this service. Please contact your IT Admin to get access. I've tried logging out and back on from Adobe Cloud and Acrobat without any luck. Any ideas?
What are the ownership rules around a web form? I am able to transfer it to a new person within my organization, however, that person does not have the option for additional ownership transfers. They can't even transfer it back to me. Instead they have to share the web form with me and then I can reasign myself as the owner. Once it's shared with me I can then reassign it to myself as the new owner. Does ownership always have to pass through the originator of the form or is there a way to transwer ownership more than onw owner away from the originator?
Hello Adobe community, my employer offers an enterprise adobe licence. Although when I try to request signatures for a document, a message pops ups that there is a maximum limit of 10 signature requests. Do you have any similar experience and possible solutions to this issue? Thank you in advance for your help.
Hello, We send out tenancy contracts via Adobe sign and we always add an ''initials'' box to each page for each person signing the agreement as they need to initial each page of the agreement and then an ''e-signature'' box anywhere that they need to sign. When the agreement is sent to tenants, they need to initial where prompted (each page) and sign where prompted (two of the pages). Recently, we are having issues with this whereby tenants are missing their initials on several or all of the pages. We ALWAYS add in the intial box on every page, we always have done but recently we are having issues and tenants are advising that they aren't necessarily prompted to initial every page (even though we have set it up so that they do). Can anyone shed any light on this or help at all? Is anyone having the same issues? KRSarah
I'm a web designer and one of my clients wants a signable form on their site. I can create the form and put a link on their site (no problem), however after it's signed and a copy is emailed to their signer, it shows MY email and contact. Is it possible to create a form and change settings so that only THEIR email address appears on the email copy sent to their signers?
A signed document passed the QuickSign retention policy however I need to recover the document and it's audit report for the electronic signature.
I am creating a document that needs to be signed by several individuals. I am able to, in Request E-signatures, drag the field requesting the signature into position so that only that individual can sign in that block. However, I need to have the individual also list the date before it gets sent on to the next signer. In the Signer Info fields, the only one of the fields that doesn't automatically require it be filled out is the date field. I can't find any option to force the date to be filled in. If I create all of the date fields before requesting E-signatures, then all of the date fields have to be filled in by the first signer before they can send it on. Is it possible to force the signed to enter the date before they send it on? Thanks.
I've got a template set up in Adobe Sing for Salesforce, and on the agreement template Recipients tab I click the "Add recipient from object or run-time variable." I click that and select "Runtime variable" in the dialog that pops up. What do I put in the Variable Name field? Where does that value get set?
We consistently get a "Unfortunately, we were not able to save your edits" error when sending agreement for signature via Adobe Sign in Acrobat Pro via the 'Request E-Signatures' button. Other documents work fine, but this particular PDF is giving us issues, but we can't figure out why.Has anyone else found a solution to this problem? Contacting Sign support also seems impossible, I haven't found a way to submit an actual ticket yet.
Dear allWe've recently rolled out e-Sign for 10 users, all with Acrobat Pro DC. Everyone is working fine apart from 1 user who cannot ad a saved image in the signature box. When he tries to add this it shows "Your image could not be processed. Create you image using another method or try again". Troubleshooting results thus far as follows:The image works fine on my install - no errors at allA new image created as PDF, JPG & PNG has been tried on the users setup and gets the same error.Adobe Pro DC has been re-installed and the issue persistsDoes anyone have any idea what this could be and how to get around it ?Any help much appreciated.RegardsMark
