Adobe Learning Manager

Currently, when viewing your master list of 'courses' as an admin and/or author, the course names are truncated after ~48 characters. This is problematic as we have many 'courses' which have much longer titles (quite a few exceeding 100+ characters). Additionally, it makes finding the correct section of a course, even when sorting alphabetically, an unnecessarily tedious process (more so before I cleaned up all of the display names in our system to follow a standard convention. . .) And no, simply changing or shortening our course names is NOT an option. Perhaps if a custom short name or code could be used internally, but the full name is displayed everywhere!Simple 'alt text' containing the full course name when hovering the mouse would work in the short term, but ideally the full course names would be displayed without any truncation whatsoever from the admin / author views. Additionally, the course names are truncated within the header of each course from the 'learner' view after ~6

I am logged in as Author.I go to the content library tab. I want to delete content that I do not need anymore.I cannot find a way to do this. There is surprising no delete option.Help

The fact that you still cannot delete a module shows how horrible this product is.  Stop saying it's 'on the roadmap' and add it to the product already! How do you allow users to create items without allowing them to delete items?  Especially when you don't warn users of the inability to delete those items.Deleting Modules should not be a 'feature', but rather a fundamental part of the product itself!  The fact that Adobe doesn't see this, shows just how short-sighted the product team is.Something I have come to realize is all too common for Adobe products, sadly.  Par for the course yet again!

Hi, External manager is getting "Enrollment Profile Disabled" when trying to login in to LMS. Anybody else experiencing the same problem? Any help would be much appreciated.

I have external peer accounts and am running into difficulties with sharing content that has automatically be given a deadline, since the external accounts can't create learning plans with content that has deadlines. What can i do to work around this issue?

How can I get a excel report that lists all of my users AND their manager? I need to delete some users who were managers so I need to assign a new manager first. How can I get a report of all of the employees and who is their manager in Captivate Prime?

I noticed when i logged into Prime through the App some of the courses are showing a due date and some show no deadline, why is this?I have not set a due date to any of the courses yet some have one. What am I doing differently with the ones that show no deadline and the ones that have a due date?How can I change these to no deadline?

We have an enterprise account with Lynda.com and with Prime LMS.  We have created the connector between Prime and Lynda.  What I can't figure out now, is how to get the Lynda content library to show up in our LMS. Has anyone tried this?Any help will be greatly appreciated.Yours,Jim

We have decided to migrate to Captivate Prime. Currently our database covers 300+ partners (resellers) with over 15,000 employees assigned to them. The bigger issues I wanted to discuss is the best way to structure them in CP. I know the concept of internal and external users but I have no idea how the mechanics of this different user types are and what does it mean later on for administration. In our database each reseller has one or more managers who are able to do some reporting, and we for sure want the same in CP - honestly we are just in front of a big question which we can not solve. Any help welcome.

I created a Quiz in Presenter, but am unable to publish the document to Captive Prime.  The instructions indicate Publish -> Adobe Captive Prime -> <select Prime Account> -> PublishThe problem is the list of Prime Accounts is blank.  Instructions indicate either a "Try Prime" or "Setup/Retrieve Account" should be present.If I try to publish, the pop-up wizard is blank and unresponsive.I am working with a trial copy of both Presenter and Captive Prime.  Is this a limitation of the trial functionality?   BTW - the Quiz works when published locally to PDF.Thanks,Scott

Hello! I'm developing my quizzes in Captivate 2017 and publishing directly to Captivate Prime. Several of my students have given me similar feedback regarding buggy quizzes. Things such as:A quiz is skipping certain questions and not letting them answer themA quiz isn't saving all of their answers - when they get to the end and review it says they didn't answer some of the questions that they actually did answerThe things that are confusing me:They are not reporting the problems for the same quizzes or quiz questions.  So a quiz may work for one person and then not for the next. Once I've been able to replicate the problem (it then disappeared again).  But usually I cannot duplicate their problem. This question is for Adobe Staffers that monitor this forum AND forum visitors.Since my company began using Adobe Captivate Prime in 2016 as the admin I've been in this forum regularly. Asking questions, answering questions, as much as I could--helping others in their Adobe Captivate Prime set-up and roll out.As far as I can tell, Adobe Captivate Prime admins do not have the same type of support network or exposure as instructional designers or eLearning creators using the Adobe Captivate authoring tool.Why?Because, Adobe has a new hub called elearning.adobe.com (launched, from what I read, in 2016).My question ... what is the difference between this forum for Adobe Captivate Prime and elearning.adobe.com? Anyone know why the content audit trail generates a    ModuleContent AddContent added to Moduleprior to eachCourseModule Content AddModule added to Course(Content Section)?In other words, every time I add a module to a course, the audit trail also shows a content add for that module even though I did not explicitly perform a content add.

Is there any way to include the powerpoint notes in Captivate Prime. I Know I can save them as a Job Aid. Is there any other way to get the notes into Prime?

What did you use internally to market Captivate Prime? We are implementing Prime next month and want to have our users excited about the availability of an eLearning platform.  How have you presented this to your group?  What courses did you promote initially?  What materials did you prepare?  Are you willing to share any emails you sent out the your organization to get them excited?Best,Pam

Does Captivate Prime have the capacity to track and report on a learner's interaction with a Job Aid?Specifically, can I track when a learner opens / downloads  a job aid?If this is not tracked (TODAY 1.24.18), is this on the developmental roadmap for future versions of Prime?

Does anyone know what the asterisk icon next to the module name in your course indicates? All my modules which are posted from Captivate 2017 has a "Cp" icon but 2 of them. These 2 modules with the asterisk icon are also not scoring correctly. Any ideas?

Hi! I'm new to Captivate and I'm trying to incorporate feedback from colleagues for a training I've created. My training has questions intersperced throughout. Is it possible for the learner to see the correct answer/s immediatly after getting a question wrong or partially correct in addition to or rather than seeing the correct answer after completing the entire quiz and reviewing?Thanks!

We are just getting started with Adobe Captivate Prime and wish to make use of the Multi-Tenancy capability touted on the marketing feature list. To quote:Multi-tenancyProvide your departments, divisions, or clients with their own instance of LMS, which they can customize, brand, administer, and manage while sharing seats, catalogs and reports.We can not find any documentation on this feature. Chat support directed us to the Peer Accounts setup, but that does not allow you to create the separate tenants (sites) or to share seats or catalogs, only to effectively loan some of your license seats to another existing site that has chosen to Peer with yours... Is anyone using this feature or know where to find the documentation?

hello,i need some Help with Adobe Prime.I did my frist training in Captivate 2017 and published the training in Adobe Prim, so far everything works wonderfully.But if i start the traing at any browser some basic functions do not work anymore.1: the CC text goes off by itself all time.2: the standart TOC button, which is at the top of the screenhas, is no longer displayed after i published the training.3: the training is not displayed correctl, you have to scroll up and down with the mouse to see everything
