Adobe Learning Manager

I have published 9 courses in Prime. I have named them chapters 1-9. When I try to compile these as a training Program I see all of the chapters except Ch 2 even though it appears in the standard catalog.

How can prior learner course grades and completions be imported into Adobe Captivate Prime when migrating from another LMS?

Hi everyoneI try to add tag to module during module creation process. When I write the tag, the following error message appears, "no matching records found". That means it accept only tags that are in the system.The question is how to create a new tag in the system?Can any one help solve the problem?Thanks sheikh

If one author creates a module and shares it, can another author edit it? I think the question if you can share with just specific people as authors was asked here before and the answer was no. Is the same true here? I would bet so since you would not want just anyone to be able to edit your module. In that case, it would be really nice to be able to give edit rights to certain people.Thanks!

Is there any news on the next release? We've been waiting patiently for a transcript feature to be added. It is mid July 2016 and my senior management team is starting to ask me about my decision to go with Adobe Captivate Prime again.I've been promising improvement any day now...

In order to test functionality and gain user feedback in my company, I created learning content using a trial version of Captivate 9 with a trial version of Captivate Prime. I now have paid subscription to both. But, when I go into my learning modules in Captivate Prime created using Captivate 9 I get an error saying "project expired".Is there a way to upgrade these modules WITHOUT, rebuilding them in the licensed version of Captivate 9 and republishing?

I recently uploaded a new CSV and now some of my learners no longer have access to their Manager roles. Are the roles determined by what is in the CSV itself or is there a way to assign those roles after the upload? Also, is anyone else seeing that chat support has been closed for about the last week? I was able to chat and get help just fine a couple weeks ago, but haven't been able to since 7/29/2016.

I have several modules for related courses that because of the way I solved some formatting issues, are now all uploading to the same module.I put all of the Captivate slides into one project to make sure they were formatted consistently, and then when I saved them as different projects, my "publish to Adobe Captivate Prime" link now thinks they are all the opening module.There must be a way to sever the previously established link.  Any advice?

I recently started a trial version of Captivate Prime. I am trying to upload files from Captivate 8 to Prime. The files are HTML5/SWF uploaded in .ZIP format. Upload initially appears to work followed by error " VC4 failed to be uploaded. Reason: The uploaded content is not supported.Please try again"- Duncan

I'm sure I'm saying this wrong, but before I start trying to learn/use Captivate, I'm wondering:Could I build a replica of an ID interface and then use Captivate to build a skills assessment that would judge if the student knows what menus to choose, click, etc.Also, could the skills test have a built in timer for different pages. So if you can't get the answer in a timely manner, it would be judged as wrong.And could the keyboard be used for prompting things. For instance it would be faster for the student to tap a key rather than click the toolbar. And that would help the student's timing.

I found this following statement in the FAQs about Learning Programs."Only self paced and activity type of courses can be added to learning programs. Even in case of blended courses, only self paced and activity type of courses can be added. Manager nominated and manager approved courses do not appear during course selection in learning programs."Can anyone explain why a course with that includes a Virtual Classroom or Classroom module is not allowed? It doesn't make sense to me why these would be excluded. I really want to make use of the Learning Program but this exclusion makes it impossible.Thanks for any insight.Best,Ash

I'm not seeing a way to structure reports for our needs. There doesn't seem to be a way to filter by Course Type (Published vs. Retired) nor have I found how to write a report that shows the course name AND the learner names to use to quickly see who is late with assignments.

Why can't we add a header to the report design so that when exported, we know what we are looking at? It would be nice to be able to add something from the filters used to pull the report.I have a number of quick reports to show who is enrolled in a course. When I download the course, I get the list of names I want but no way to see what I was filtering on so I don't know what course it was...Yes, we can edit the excel file manually but that just adds work because every time I produce the report or reports, I have to repeat that same manual edit.Thoughts anyone?

Hello Community,I am working in Captivate 9 and was wondering if there is any way I can publish to a non HTML5 format when publishing to captivate prime?The reason I ask is because my flv and swf files are not being displayed as interactive on the LMS(preview non HTML5 works fine, but publishing as HTML5 only displays first frame of animations and thus they become PIC rather than animation)I am not an animator so please try to refrain from telling me to just create HTML5 animations instead...Having difficulty doing that currently.Thanks for any tips.Sincerely,Sean

Is it possible to assign multiple managers to a single user in Captivate Prime?I have a user group, where I need 3 managers to have access to the same group of users (all 3 managers are client educators).I'm trying to find out if I can add three (comma separated) manager ID's into the CSV upload, or if I can perform this action in the Prime UI, once the users have been uploaded.Thanks in advance.

We all think training is important. When someone fails to complete an assignment is that information tracked in the LMS anywhere?We'd like to be able to generate a report of how many times a person has missed a deadline so that information can be discussed during an annual review.Of course, we'd also like to generate a report showing how many times a person MET a deadline so that can also be included in the annual review.Is that possible with Prime?

I am setting up a certification in Prime. When setting up reminders I see that the reminders I add include "No escalation" which implies I can set up escalation. I can't find anything in the documentation about escalation of notifications to any other person such as their manager or the training department. Is this possible or something coming in the future? Or am I completely misunderstanding escalation.

We have no experience yet with certifications but we are trying to look ahead to see how we might use certifications in Prime.I've reviewed the online help information about certifications but it doesn't mention any way to control the certifications beyond how a learner must complete a list of courses associated with the certification.Is it possible to revoke a certification later for non-academic reasons?We'd like to use the certification feature of Prime to manage our inspector authorizations and sometimes authorizations are revoked for various reasons. If we can't manually revoke (de-certify) someone, then we can't use Prime to help manage that process.Thoughts?

I have more than 60 modules in a course and I need to arrange them. Is it possible to customize how content of the course are displayed? I would need something like this..I would need something like this..

In my skills list, I can see that I have 13 learners assigned to a skill. When I select the option to Assign to Learners, only 1 user group is viewable (the user group only has 4 people assigned to it). How can I view the other 9 people assigned? How can I remove a learner from a skill?

can someone answer this questions?is ti possible for a student to submit an assignment to a teacher for correction and for the teacher to make the evaluation and send it to the student?Is it possible for a student to send a message to a teacher?thank you,Fabio

Is it normal for a retired course to generate notifications to someone who has started but not completed a course, before it was retired?It would seem desirable for a retired course to go completely silent and stop generating any notifications at all. After all, it was retired because it is no longer of value.Thoughts?

If I understand correctly, there are certain limitations to using external user accounts (the self-registration service too), when it comes  to tracking users' progress and performance across the LMS.As we are working with elderly test subjects who might not be very technologically inclined, we would prefer to make signing up and in as easy as possible, and so the Adobe ID is simply not ideal.Is there any alternative?

Does Prime provide for learner discussion forums, as is common in D2L, Moodle, etc.?
