I have a mac & am trying to convert a wmv file in media encoder, but doesn't recognize the file type. Any advice? Thank you!
Hey guys, it's getting really frustrating.I'm getting random export errors with the code:(media encoder)Component: H.264 of type ExporterSelector: 9Error code: 3I've been looking for a solution for months. And no, changing the renderer to "software only" is not a fix - don't get me started on that. These render errors are kinda random. I've tried exporting the same sequence several times and it sometimes succeeded and sometimes failed with that error code. I've checked where it failed, and the timestamps are really random, sometimes at the beginning, sometimes and the end or on clips where are there no effects applied.Has someone experienced the same? Can someone help me? Seems like in these threads they just tell you to use software encoding and that's not the solution. My specs:Win10 ProLatest premiere, 14.7Intel i9-10900kGeForce RTX Quadro 400064 GB RAMFootage files are on SSD, also tried exporting to HDD, moved the files to the HDD and exported to SSD.I've also i
Hello,I have the following problem. When I add a composition to the Adobe Media Encoder queue in After Effects and then encode it to H.264, the video has no sound. The setting to encode the sound is switched on, both programs are in version 2020, mp4 is selected and the video has sound in After Effects.Do you know what I can do to make the video sound after encoding?
hi, im a video editor. this thing has been happening to me for a couple of days: when i loop my video, my rendering (i use ame to render as you can tell) stops at one frame, which i think its weird since being the loop, that clip was already rendered in first place. i tried to change the clips and the transitions in ae but it doesnt work. does anybody know how it can be fixed?
i have been trying to export my project files from character animator via media encoder but it keeps asking me to install the app yet i already have media encoder. i went a head to try adding it to the rendering queue in media encoder directly but it popping up a message "could not open project file". i'm using Adobe Media Encoder 2019 .how can i solve this issue?
Yo ,,,,WHAT>>?!1!!? just freaking LOOK at this?!
H! Had this problem since January 1st cant render or export a project. pc works fine. Please help if there's any update from adobe that I need...
Adobe - I'm wanting to use ME with Auditon and it appears the only way I can use Audition to edit the audio files on videos I create on a Zoom Handy Video recorder is to buy the ENTIRE CREATIVE CLOUD PACKAGE??? Please tell me I'm missing something. Please. -K
So I go into media encoder and import my AE composition and choose my settings for the render, all good. I will start the render but it wont get past the Connecting to project at the start of the render. Ty for an suggestions in advance
Things that should take less than a second, like: Create New Preset, or clicking on the preset type for a clip take multiple minutes in Media Encoder 14.4. Every button I press sends the little wheel spinning, my PC fan starts cranking up and I have to wait. Anyone else seeing this? I'm on notebook with Windows 10, Core i7, 32G RAM, NVidia RTX card so it's not that I'm trying to use an ancient PC or something. thanks! Hoagy
In the 2019 version, files that took about 5 minutes to encode were updated to the 2020 version, which slowed down by 10 to 20 minutes. In the 2019 version, the computer's RAM goes up to 19 gigabytes, while in the 2020 version, it doesn't go up to 8 gigabytes, so is there a way to use it more? In addition to the Adobe program, the amount of RAM allocated within the program itself has been lowered to 3 gigabytes as much as possible.
Premiere Pro doesnt accept .mov and they can't be converted because Endocer does not read. the amount of money people pay this software should accept VHS. if anyone knows a work around other than downloading a non-adobe product to convert, please let me know. i refuse—adobe needs to take responsibility for this. y'all should be embarassed, adobe. some political BS w apple?
I am using Media Encoder to create some proxies before I start editing on Premier Pro. Unnexpectedly I am being asked “Encoding is in progress: Do you really want to quit?”. I didn’t have any intension to quit the prosess, and I wasn’t even using the aplication while it transcoded. I have continuesly pressed “No” but the message reappears less than a second after I’m asking it not to quit. The encoding continues while I’m seeing this message, but it doesn’t automatically move on to the next file. I have to monitor the transcoding in order to make any progress. Soon I do press “Yes”, and after restarting the aplication it works as it should, until the message reappears again.. I have restarted the computer several times, and have seen that the application is up to date. This bug/issue is driving me mad and hope it will be resolved.

I'm trying to encode videos to mp4 and the settings look like another MacBook Pro I was working with fine. When I preview in after effects it looks fine. But when I put it through the encoder, all files get the image below. I have a 2020 16" MacBook Pro. Thanks in advance.
install the media encoder on my desktop, and when I wanted to render my composition from After Effects to the Media Encoder, ,Media Encoder open but my file did not appear.
I have an wmv and I clicked the plus sign to add my file, however when I click the drop-down to chose my output I don't see mp4. Am I missing something? Is there another name for it?
My problem has just recently started and I don't quite understand as nothing has changed. I record and edit a game called Universim on YouTube and yesterday Media Encoder told me it would take 12 hours to encode my 35 minute video. This normally would take about 45 minutes to maybe an hour. The story gets even stranger as this seems to only be happening with the Universim gameplay videos. My GPU utilization is always at 100% which I have no problem with as I usuall do something else, but when the encoder is taking 12 hours I can only do something else for so long. I really need to get this fixed. It just started yesterday and makes no sense to me. Computer Specs:AMD Ryzen 9 3900X 12-Core Processor 3.8 GHz32 GB DDR5 MemoryR9 290x Radeon Graphics Card
Animate loads the animation fine, and I've used it hundresds of times before. But now suddenly Encoder keeps freezing when I try to export anything through it. Its not a large animation my any means, but its something I need to get exported soon for a project. Can someone help?
I tried to convert/export a bunch of MP3 files from an online course I purchased to AAC so that I could listen to the modules on my iPhone. However, as you can see from the attached screenshot, after conversion in AME the files show in Windows Exlorer as "ADTS Audio". They don't play or get recognised in iTunes even though the file extention is AAC. I then converted the MP3s using iTunes instead, and as you can see from the screenshot, they now show correctly as "MPEG-4 Audio". Can you please help me to understand what I am doing wrong in AME to get the same conversion? I have attached a screenshot of my Adobe Media Encoder Settings. Thanks.
Everytime I open Media Encoder, regardless of what I do, even I simply open it and then do nothing with it, it will crash within 1 min of it being open. I can render anything and it will start but about 1 min of the app being open it will crash. This is a brand new install of Media Encoder on a new built PC Everything is up to date, windows 10, CPU: 3990x GPU: 5500xt 256GB Ram I have Software Encoding Only Selected
