Sorry - simplistic Q. After choosing the preset and hitting start, is encoding the same thing as exporting?Or, after you encode, do you have to go through the normal export
I have been having this rather annoying issue for about 5 years now (probably longer - can't remember 😉 ) I use mouse wheel to navigate the options within Export Settings, but you are setting the focus on wherever the cursor is located - this results in, for example, ending up with changing Channels to 5.1 from Stereo rather than scrolling to the Bitrate where I want to get to. This is a bad UX... Please fix this! (Applies to all Mac OS (at least) and all AME versions from the beginning AFAIA.)
Media encoder 2020 is not opening from queing up a video from premiere or manually opining it. I can only open it once when I restart my pc. It seems media encoder has to be opened before premiere and if i open it after, media encoder gets stuck before it writes any audio. This is a tedious process do you guys have a fix?
Hi, after Update Media Encoder to Version 2020 the rendering performance seems to be very bad againt the Version 2019. In the past i can using my Mac for other works if he was rendering. Good afternoon, I have a problem importing files with the extension .MTS to do the encoding proxy the message you give me is this - the files cannot be imported. The file format is not supported.
Encoder is generating a NDF timecode from a DF source for mp4 transcodes and there is no parameter to effect a correct timecode generation? Try it. See what you get. Any help?
I know is a transition, but I need these transitions to work. Oh Boy, here we go again. I made the mistake of updating to the latest Media Encoder, After Effects, etc. and my Renders start freezing again. Please Adobe, finally have a look at this. Larger projects, including audio files, crash after a certain threshold. They simply stop rendering at a certain point and all there is left to do, is to forcefully shut down the Media Encoder. When I try to re-open/re-render, the Media Encoder wouldn't even connect to projects anymore ("Connecting to project..." spins but nothing happens). I have to restart the computer and start from the beginning only to find myself in a never ending loop (Freezes again). I assume it has something to do with RAM/cash management... I don't know, just fix it please, it's only wasting my time. Thank you
Today, we're releasing Adobe Media Encoder 14.6 which is available for download from the Creative Cloud desktop application. This is a bug-fix update and is recommended for all users. What's fixed? Failure to import some files on non-English version of Media Encoder on Windows. How do I update Media Encoder? Open the Creative Cloud desktop application and click the Updates tab on the top-left. Find Media Encoder in the list and click Update. What should I do if I don't see the update in my Creative Cloud desktop application? Click Help > Check for Updates from the Creative Cloud desktop application to refresh it.
Hi, I have specific problem with Adobe Encoder. I need to render 1h 47min podcast in 4k, 40 mbp/s. In Adobe Premiere this is like horror to make such render (over 52h of render - 1080p needs only about 9-10h). Apart from that half year ago similiar projects would render on mine PC in common time (one night render ;)) So I tried to render this project in Adobe Media Encoder, it render ways faster (in 3 hours!!!), first try was finished but Encoder render 1 hour and 37 minutes (after that time it wasn't playful), then second take rendered only 35 minutes (also very fast) - for example YouTube recognize only this durations, windows media player freeze and comeback to start after 1h 37min and then after 35min. I ruled out problems like not enough disk space and specific timeline errors. I have found out only one thread about that: https://community.adobe.com/t5/adobe-media-encoder/adobe-media-encoder-not-encoding-my-video-to-the-end-encodes-only-roughly-80-o
Really weird problem I've been having with Media Encoder. The interface is completely distorted/glitchy. I'm using a MSI P65 Creator with a 4K screen, as well as a Dell 4K monitor. I had an old monitor and Media Encoder would be glitchy on my 4K laptop screen, but not when I moved it onto the 1080p monitor. Now that both of them are 4K, there are big issues with the interface and how it is displayed. It still functions, as you can see it's converting right now, but I can't access all the buttons because some of them are completely glitched out. Any insight?
Hello,Recently i cant rendering from AME. Everything has to render in AE, after that I have to convert from mov to specific format.I have tried each fix that was mentioned here but notning work for me- Encoding Time: 00:01:3011/13/2020 01:47:00 PM : Encoding Failed------------------------------------------------------------Export ErrorError compiling movie.Accelerated Renderer ErrorUnable to produce frame.Writing with exporter: H.264Writing to file: \\?\D:\Carp Mojo\CARP MOJO 3_AME\!!! I encode about 10 hours of ProRes 422 LT 1080p30 video to H.265 files. Before the latest update, this was taking me about 10-12 minutes per hour of video to encode. After the latest update, my computer now takes 70+ minutes per hour. Is there a way to revert back to the old version? What can I do to help Adobe figure out the change? This type of performance is killing my productivity.
Do presets change the export? Ok, I have a H.265 file I want to export at 4096x1716 pixels. I usually select the 4k UHD preset from the drop down which is 3840x2160. Then I just change the pixel ratio to 4096x1716. But does this mean the file is just a 3840x2160 file upscaled or is it actually true 4096x1716. Because if I try to select a smaller size such as 480 sd or 1080p it will not let me upsize the ratio to 4096x1716. Of course there is no preset for 4096x1716, but im wondering if selecting the preset then changing it affects my end file in any way. Would it look better to just set it to a custom file at 4096x1716?
Hi, I've been using AME and AE since 2016 but never have I had this repeating problem until I got a new macbook. I've been trying to render my project for a while but the same error keeps showing up. I've tried the following: changing the location of the render, changing the cache files to a different folder, restarted my mac + the programs, changed the renderer engines (on both applications), removed effects that could be considered to overload the render, changed the possible effects from the composition to an adjusment layer (vice versa). I still cannot get it to render and it's very annoying, I also need the certain part of the project that it keeps failing at, If someone can help me I'd appreciate it a lot, thank you!!! Have anyone seen this beforeAfter updateting the adobe creative product to 2020i am having problem rendering Video in after effectOn the Right side, there is no issue for After effect to load the dataOn the left side Adobe Media Encoder can only see and a color templateand it will show the same Color template when installCurrent setupWindow 10 1909AE version 17.5.0AME Version 14.5Display card Nvidia1080 with Studio Driver 456.71
I've read multiple discussion posts and watched youtube videos about exporting after effects projects.Still not sure what I'm doing wrong. 8 second video takes nearly half an hour, I can't even see an estimated file size.Format is H.264, I'm using Match Source - Adaptive Medium Bitrate (instead of Match Source - High Bitrate)I'm worried because I have a major project coming up and if it takes half an hour to render an 8 second video, I'm screwed.
Boa noite!! Se eu coloco vários vídeos no Media Encoder e eu mexo num desses vídeos no preimere e salvo. Caso o vídeo ainda não esteja em processamento, ele vai ser exportado com essas atualizações? Ou eu teria que colocar novamentena fila? 🙂
I've seen a few posts about this issue and most have been solved by unchecking the native import box. I;ve tried this multiple times, restarting the application as well as the OS(High Sierra) Nothing works. Any MOGRT is use does not work when encoding with ME. I get the sense that maybe ME can't reference the original MOGRT in a specified location or something???? Can someone please help me with solving this problem ??? TA
Hi,can anybody help me to solve this problem with Media Encoder? It has the latest updates by Adobe. But it still does not work. Everytime when trying to open the programm, at the point it says "Load ExporterAVI.prm" it stops opening and won´t go on.We already tried to delete this ExporterAVI.prm but it only worked for 3 days. I am very happy to hear if someone knows this problem. Best regards,Romy
Hey Guys, When adobe rolled out GPU accelleration in 2019 I was able to process my videos within 7-10 mins depending on the length. It would average 30%GPU and 25-40% CPU instead of 100%. It was perfect. Now it only usese GPU and hardly any of the CPU. All drivers are up to date. I am running a 8 core processor and my GPU is the NVidia 1080.
Spent all day trying to export to 4k video from Premiere Pro 2020 using the Media Encoder. Fails at different places each time and now with 2 error codes at different times. Any solutions?
