Hi, Need some help please.I have been using adobe CS since CS4 and have been upgrading all the way to CS6.The amount of work I do and the value of our money (ZAR) it is not viable for me to go CC.Last month my edit machine's motherboard went and had to put a new machine together. The new machine is a 7820X with Win 10.I have loaded all my programmes and all works well but within Encore on my old machine in the library panel next to the "Toggle display of menu tab" is the "Toggle display of buttons" and so on.on my old system you could click on these tabs and you would have all the menu's and buttons ect, I have loaded the content disc and only have all the menu's.No Buttons, No images, No backgrounds and so on.what have I done wrong and where do I find these files? and how do I get them back? I used to build my own menu's now I cannot. Thanks in advance for your time and effort.Darren
Since upgrading to v12 Media Encoder has become pretty useless. I'm working on the same projects as before, nothing has changed in terms of plugins or hardware I'm using.... but the render time has gone up from several hours (60min piece) to 2days. I used to be able to export a whole version overnight. Not anymore since v12 unfortunately.
Since doing the most recent update my AME render times have increased by a factor of 7 to 10. I took a look at the CPU usage and it's running on all cores to start off but after a minute or so of rendering time it uses only one CPU.I found some discussion on this topic but it was all from 3+ years ago and it looks like it was never resolved. Can someone point me to a more recent solution to this problem? Thanks in advance, rgames
I just switched over to AME 2018 and tried a test encode. SImple compression-only H.264 transcode of a 24m clip of 4k input to 4k output. AME defaulted to adaptive high bitrate preset. Encoding was 54m vs. 18m encode time, 13.4GB vs. 1.9GB file size. Forgive the noob question, but what goodness does adaptive high bitrate offer to make it worth these costs?
In a prior discussion Re: Does Media Encoder support lossless JPEG 2000 MXF, or only lossy? the winning post was that it's lossless. But subsequently I've learned that there are two kinds of lossless files: mathematically lossless and visually lossless. For example this link discusses visually lossless compression https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3649057/ So my questions are:1. Is the jpeg2000 output mathematically lossless or visually lossless?2. If it's not proprietary information, what compression method is used in jpeg2000 encoded files?3. Why does the lossless metadata flag not appear in MediaIinfo, for example. This caused me to wonder if the prior answer that it is lossless was accurate. MediaInfo of another jpeg2000 file shows this but the AME created file does not:Compression mode : Lossless
Been having this issue ever since I upgraded to 5.5...Finish a video in Premiere, export to AME, click the play/start encode. In the encode status, it gets to "Processing: Reading XMP" and simply hangs there indefinitely (hours). Clicking to stop/pause the encode doesn't actually stop it, only way to do anything is to force-quit AME. Then it won't re-open until a restart. Only way I can export my final video from Premiere is the direct export, which works well enough when it's a single video basis, but when I want to do a batch of exports, or continue editing something else while exporting, this completely puts me at a stand-still.Any idea what's with AME just stalling out on me here?
Hello! After adding sound effects to a video project in After Effects, I have no problem hearing all of the sounds just fine. The problem is that only some of the sound effects are playing once the file is converted to the final MP4. I assume this is an issue in AME and not AE since they play fine in AE. What could be causing this problem and how do I go about fixing this??? Please help! Thank you in advance!
Hi there,Am I able to use Adobe Media Encoder if I have a photography subscribtion?I don't have a subscribtion already.Thank you for your answers!

I recorded a movie in the software, and when I watched it, I noticed to small leaps in the film, the picture blurred for a moment until it sharpened. I'd love to know what causes this problem?
I have never used AME and I'm assuming it does EVERYTHING. But I can't find the preset for these 2 common formats? I have a 1GB mov from istockphoto, and I need to convert to both mp4 and webm for a widget in Muse. Also, any advice on file size so it plays quickly/smoothly?
Transcoding RED EPIC RAW files to DNxHD using Prelude and AME. Some .RDC folders have multiple .R3D footage that is the same. Each is aprox 4gb. Its the same footage, Timecode etc. When I transcode through AME, the new files are much larger, depending on how many repeat files are in each folder. Usin AME Preset DNxHR HQ UHD 23.976 and Format DNxHR/DNxHD MXF OP1a.
Hi,we are using Aftereffects CC2015.3 and each time we want to upgrade to a new version we make some tests regarding our workflows and custom tools.Right now we need to install new workstations under windows 7 x64 with the AEP CC2015but in your creative cloud installer there is no access to the adobe media encoder CC2015.and, unfortunately, when i install AEP 2015, the adobe dynamic linq doesn't work with the mediaencoder CC2017...Can you help methanks
When transcoding MP4 video files into M2V files using Premiere Pro (CS6), the resulting video appears zoomed:Windows media player, VLC and Splayer all show the same zoom, which implies its not an issue with the media player. Any suggestions on how to solve this?
I had Lr, Ps, PPro and AME in German. I changed my cloud app to English (win10) and deinstalled and reinstalled all. Everything appeared in English, except AME, that stayed in German. What do I need to do to have AME in English?
Hello,I am trying to convert an HD ProRes HQ 1080p at 23.98 to DV24P (the orchestra studio in Europe where we record score to our film is still in the DV world...) but every attempt at setting Media Encoder to output DV with 23.98 yields a 29.97 file. This creates issues with the ProTools session and out-of-sync issues.Any ideas on why this happens and how to overcome it?
Hi, there is no more VBR or CBR options in media encoder cc2018 ?!There is just a box for limiting the data bit rate to what you want, but when analyzing the file, it is still vbr...One client still tell us that our new files aren't cbr.Is there a bug or a new place for this setting ?Can't seems to write directly to some support to Adobe, it keeps giving the options of forums or faq... doesn't help at all.
When trying to convert a video to H.265 this error pops up:A low-level exception occurred in: HEVC (H.265) (Exporter: 9)Export ErrorError compiling movie.Error code: 3Is there a way to fix it?Thanks in advance.
Premiere 2015 - Windows 10At some point I updated to 2017 then when back to 2015 versions of Pr, Ae and AME. However now when I try to queue from Premiere it doesn't recognise that AME is installed. I've got AME 2017 and CS6 in my program files - so is it just that I've got the wrong versions installed? Thanks for reading/commenting.
My mac lab runs Adobe CC. Recently I ran RemoteUpdateManager through ARD to update CC on these macs. Now users are getting the warning: User profiles are wiped upon logout, so this error pops up any time a subsequent user edits AVCHD footage or exports audio as Dolby Digital. Is there a dolby digital codec I can download/install? Or, am I stuck having to create a new user template for each workstation...

AME terminates a job stating: "YouTube - YouTube - File size upload limit is 64GB". The correct file size limit for youtube is 128GB.This should be fixed
Hey! This one's a bit of a specific problem. I'm currently using a Microsoft LiveCam Studio HD webcam on my Macbook Pro (specs below just in case). I'm trying to use Adobe Media Encoder to stream in HD but it absolutely REFUSES to recognise there's a webcam plugged in. I checked that perhaps the driver needed to be up to date but lo and behold, Microsoft doesn't want to provide drivers for Macs, so I tried using 'Webcam Settings' by Mactaris which was recommended online to act as a mediator as instructed and either I'm doing something wrong or it's not working either, Encoder continues to insist there's no webcam connected. Help?!Macbook specs: Macbook Pro, 13 inch, mid-2012, running High Sierra (10.13.1)2.5 GHz Intel Core i5Intel HD Graphics 4000 1536 MBThe webcam is the Microsoft LiveCam Studio (Microsoft Webcam: LifeCam Studio | Microsoft Accessories )I'm using Flash Media Live Encoder 3.2Ask me if you need any other details!
On trying to import video from the new iphone X 4K 60fps, I get error message the it is not a valid codec.any ideas of how to import video into Premiere Pro CC 2018
Running PC, Windows 7, Nvidia 670 (I think), 16gb RAM, AME/Premiere 2017AME quits encoding when I come to the same point in my timeline every time I try, according to the viewport. I used the crop effect with a small scale with two still images then moved in a third still image with a crop over the top of the first two. I get the "baa baa haa" sheep sound every time. I can tell my computer starts to work harder during the first two. It encodes the first two, then gets through most of the third still image then quits. I did something very similar for a project a few years ago in CC2015 and had no problems then.I used two other stills with a crop (no motion) earlier in the timeline and they rendered fine. I've used these stills from the same camera with the same resolution hundreds of times with no problems. This specific issue seems to be with the motion of the crops.I've seen a handful of suggestions over the past three years, but now one thing from Adobe providing a concrete response
