Hi! I always have to export in two diffent file formats. Mp4 and mxl. For that I have two presets, Would be nice if I could apply them at the same time.
Media encoder is not installed on my device and even upon reinstalling and uninstalling this popup will still appear at random even if Creative Cloud is completely closed and it is not in use at all. I have tried signing out, repairing creative cloud and installing the version it seems to be stuck on (v.26.4.4) but this issue persists even after completely restarting my computer. No matter which option i press it continues to reappear and open the entirety of Creative Clourd Desktop at random.
Is that true that after automatic Me update I lost all my custom presets I created before? If true, this is a serious bug that needs to be treated.
After updating my Premiere and Media Encoder, now when I send to Media Encoder to export, the captions disappear in Media Encoder. I have "Burn Captions" checked and everything and it still doesn't work.
Why is there an option to set a global output folder in the preferences of the media encoder, if that feature simply does'nt work?? Every time I add a new file to the queue, it sets the output path to the windows system document folder, not the one I specified in the preference. It would be much easier, if you let us set a local output folder in the presets. Instead, Adobe added lots of (barely useful) option to save to CC Cloud, Behance, Youtube, FTP, Twitter. Vimeo, Facebook aso. But there is absolutely no option to set a local harddrive folder?Anyone can tell me how to set an output folder in a way that will actually set an output folder?
I would like to see the folder structure that you can create in the Preset Browser window to translate to your local drive as well.Because everytime you re-install AME you lose the folders and groups you create in the Preset Browser window. It would be more efficient to have your presets setup in folders the way you like at a local level, so when you open AME the Preset Browser window looks the same/has the same folder structure as on your local machine. What Im asking for is currently how the User Presets panel work in AE. Hope this is a helpful feature request.
I made the mistake of activating HDR on my iPhone footage, went to export to Adobe Premiere Pro and had to make adjustments one by one to Rec 709. Is there any way to do this at once on multiple videos through Media Encoder?
I have Adobe Media Encoder installed on my system via Adobe Technical Communication Suite. My service desk has asked that I update it (due to a vulnerability being detected). I have tried updating through the TCS (Tech Comm Suite) installer, but it just re-installed the original version (22.6 Build 65), whereas apparently the product is now on a December 2024 release (v 25.1).Attempting to update through the application interface results in a "Updates have been disabled for this machine. Please contact your administrator." error - but all the other updates for TCS that I use (Captivate and RoboHelp) actively detect updates for the application (that the service desk installs for me, as I don't have admin on my work laptop). I do not know why I'd get the "updates disabled error" where everything else seems to allow updates (and nor does the service desk). I do NOT have a Creative Cloud subscription so can't update through that. Any guidance appreciated. Thank you

Please check if it has moved or been deleted. I've been having this issue for a few months. Everytime I try to render something from After Effects to AME it ALWAYS fails. Actually it doens't even start, it fails before starting to render anything. It happens with every single project, both in mp4 and quicktime (the two formats I usually use) and in general in every single situation. I'm basically not able to use AME ever. I always have to export through After Effects and it's extremely annoying since I am forced to stop working whenever I need to export. I was able to fix this issue in the past by changing "Mercury Playback Engine Software Only" but now it started not working again and I haven't cha
I keep getting this error message (amecommand Initilization error 1), when I try to render a video in Photoshop & Photoshop Beta, both the newest versions.I uninstalled and reinstalled Photoshop, Bridge & Media Encoder, but still doing the same thing. I restarted laptop (macbook pro), restarted the apps, uninistalled the apps then did a laptop restart before reinstalling, and still.. no luck. I tried to open Bridge to render through there, but Bridge keeps force quitting before it even fully loads the app, so that's of no use. Older versions of Photoshop and Bridge did not work either and produced the same out come (photoshop still gives error message when renderinig video and Bridge force quits when app is is loading up)An Adobe employee responded with this since I originally posted in the Photoshop forum: "When you work in Photoshop, it is just sending the file over the Media Encoder. As in the previous published ME version this fall, HDR export with native Canon Log3 in Rec2020 is still not working. It looks as if a LUT is missing, but the project in PP is w/o LUT as native import. This was working before until ME version 25.0.
Hola!
An adobe emplyee instrructed me to post this issue here because he believes its a Media Encoder issue:I keep getting this error message (amecommand Initilization error 1), when I try to render a video in Photoshop & Photoshop Beta, both the newest versions. Did Adobe end WebM Support for Media Encoder 2025.1? It worked for previous versions. When I try to import the preset, I get a message "Preset could not be imported. No exporter found for this project. Mac OS 14.6CC 2025
Hi guys,My media encoder fails to render lately. It doesn't matter to which codec I export, nor which project, nor which software I use (AE / Premiere Pro)I constantly get the message attached under here. I already deleted the cache files form all software, reinstalled media encoder, etc. etc... but nothing works. The weird thing is that the fail-message isn't right. It keeps referring to an old project. While I'm exporting to Prores it keeps talking about H.264Any ideas?Specs from my workstation:Media Encoder CC2019 v13.0.2MacPro mid 2013 6 core, os 10.14.4 Thanks a lot!Fail message:------------------------------------------------------------ - Encoding Time: 00:00:3004/02/2019 12:05:10 PM : Encoding Failed------------------------------------------------------------Export ErrorError compiling movie.Render ErrorRender returned error.Writing with exporter: QuickTimeWriting to file: /var/folders/dn/qgg854594d5_77w0b86b66040000gn/T/Untitled Project_AME/Comp 1.movAround timecode: 00:00:00:
Hi there, Here's what I'm doing: I have a 4k video of someone talking to camera, so to add variation, I zoom in and out to different fixed positions. (I.e. scale to 100%, to 120% and 140%). To make things easier for me, I set up different adjustment layers with a transform effect on them (on source) and scale to taste so I can then drop them on the timeline whenever I need to. I name them accordingly, "camera 1", "camera 2", etc... When I render via Premiere, things look all right: But when I render using Media Encoder, the issue appears: Media Encoder seems to be scaling from the upper corner of the videos instead of from the center of the videos... So I don't know if it's a bug nor what might be causing the issue. Do any of you have an idea why this might be happening? I'm using Windows 10, the version of Me is 25.1 (Build 65) and Pr is 25.1.0 (Build 73) Best,Mauro.
Hi, im using a mac and just got the Media Encoder today. My mac is kinda slow and rendering took over 6 hours. i didnt put any output file destinations and i can't find it anywhere! Where could it be?
In the Preset Browser, vertical scrolling works correctly (two-finger slide down to scroll up and vice versa), but bizarrely, horizontal scrolling is reversed (two finger slide left to scroll left and right to scroll right). Not difficult to figure out and use, but sort of embarrassing for the UI guys.
I do not often use Me and I had no idea this software is so ridiculously slow. Now that I'm looking at the elapsed and estimated times this gives me the impression that Media Encoder does not ustilize CUDA or uses the e-cores of my Intel CPU alone. This is my 48 minutes long project and after I started rendering the video, shows there's 10 (TEN!) hours left to finish. What is wrong with this software? The CUDA is activated, I tried making Me window active - the estimated time does not change at all. My CPU is 50% loaded, my graphics card is barely loaded though I'm rendering out into HEVC-h265.In comparison Premiere Pro rendered the same project out in ONE HOUR yesterday, though it's window was not active - I was watching Youtube during the whole rendering process. I think there's a bug in it... Adobe, please see to it.Win10 updated, RTX 4080 with 551.61 and an NVIDIA fix driver, i7 13700 KF, 64 Gb, SSD.Premiere Pro 24.2.1, Media Encoder 24.2.1
Hey guys! I'm trying to render a .mp4 of a 18944 x 40 LED video. Media encoder is automatically changing the dimensions to 16384x34 when rendering.I've tried just about everything.Within Media Encoder's export settings, clicking 'match sequence' doesn't work. The video exportrs fine as a .mov, but that is not the spec the client needs. I've tried bringing the mov into AE and rendering that as a .mp4 and no luck there either. Any suggestions!???

Is this possible? -AME watches a folder (that is a SD card)-When new files appear, it combines (stitches) all of the videos it finds-It encodes the videos using a profile (which adds a watermark image and saves it as a HEVC 5mbps file)-It deletes the original files from SD card
