After updating both my Mac OS and AE and AME, When I try to open "Export Settings" in AME, I get a lot of spinning beach balls - after every button I push. Very slow and sluggish. Previously responded instantly. Anyone else experiencing this, or know of a fix? Hi Guys. I'm looking for some insight on the following scenario. My edit team creates some slideshow type videos with regularity. They're about 60 seconds long and are fairly standardized / repetitive in their structure. I'm wonder if there is a way to automatically pull still images from the videos at certain intervals. For example, I want to pull a still image at 15, 25, 35, and 45 seconds into the video. Is it possible to create a watch folder that is looking for the finished video itself and when a new video is added it takes it and then grabs the 4 still images? Thank you!
Hi! I recently received this error when trying to render a project from After Effects CC 2018 in Adobe Media Encoder. I've tried a few times and also with the built in After Effects Render Queue but no results. Some have suggested on other posts (with different error codes) to turn off GPU Acceleration or change the codec. Im gonna try those later, but for now do you have any other suggestions? - Encoding Time: 00:18:1311/01/2017 02:32:22 AM : Encoding Failed------------------------------------------------------------Export ErrorError compiling movie.Render ErrorRender returned error.Writing with exporter: H.264Writing to file: \\?\D:\hradi\Videos\Trabajos\Aurum Studio\Galería Monumental\Renders\Locales Participantes (Ver. 2).mp4Writing file type: H264Around timecode: 00:00:28:01Rendering at offset: 27.361 secondsComponent: H.264 of type ExporterSelector: 9Error code: -1609629695------------------------------------------------------------
I have an AVI file (see MediaInfo report copied below) I'm trying to open with media encoder because I need to be able to get it into Premiere Pro for editing (and audio editing in Audition eventually too). Codec is H264, audio is Mpeg-1. As I understand it, Media Encoder (and the other adobe products) isn't very agreeable with these types of codecs and/or wrappers. So two questions - how do I go about getting it into Media Encoder so I can convert the file to something more useful? Once it's actually in there, what should I convert the format to, so it works smoothly in both PP and Audition? Is this even possible without separating video from audio? I don't have much hope with an mpeg-1 audio encoding...Running Windows 10, ME 2017 was gotten through Creative Cloud.MediaInfo GeneralComplete name : G:\Quail\Videos\Demaso727.avi
We are upgrading our editing suites here and I am trying to find informaiton about how many cores Encoder can use. For example, if we upgrade to a 12 core + hyperthreaded behemoth can / will Encoder 19 use all those cores or will it max out at some lower number? Also if anyone can point me to a forum / spec sheet / whatever that explains how Encoder uses a computers resources I would be very grateful. What I really want to know is if I throw a supercomputer at Encoder and try to render some 4k mov files to mp4, will it utilize all the resources or does it stop seeing resources after a certain point? If we get an i9 9920 plus RTX 2070 will Encoder still max out the CPU whlie rendering? Thanks.
In AME, I'm rendering out an AfterEffects 4k video in the HEVC h.265 codec. However, when I check the High Dynamic Range checkbox, the video comes out underexposed and dingy. I've tried compensating in AfterEffects, but all I end up with is something that looks like a dim overexposed video. Is there a way to compensate for the lower brightness/lower contrast that the HDR setting brings, so it looks closer to the pre-rendered file?
I am trying to automate the rendering process using templates, extend-script, and apple-script.While running the command: app.project.renderQueue.queueInAME(true); My project gets transferred to Adobe Media Encoder from After Effects and the rendering process starts with the same configuration as the last render. The render time may vary depending upon the complexity of the render. The function queueInAME( ) returns nothing back. Is there any way to know when the rendering task has finished or if there came any errors in the process? Is there a callback method which might enable this?
Hi, I have recently switched to One App Plan on Adobe because I'm only using Premiere Pro. Will I be able to use Media Encoder with my current plan?
Greetings, I'm trying to upload a Film to Amazon Prime. I'd like to give Amazon ProRes 422 HQ along with 5.1 Dolby Sound. I see that AME CC only generates Stereo within the .mov file... Any idea how to go about this? Thanks in advance for your help.Regards,Rajnesh
I just finished my first project shot entirely with ProResLT as the acquisition and editing Codec. Now it is time to Backup my project and I decided I didn't want to backup 350GBs of data for this complete project. However I do like to save my unedited project files for future use in other projects. So I decided to Transcode all of the footage to H.264 at a lower BitRate to still have the footage in a usable format but not take up so much space. I brought all of the files into AME and selected the "High Quality 2160 4K" setting. I then customized it by bumping up the VBR rate to 100Mbps Target and 200Mbps max. Hit go and walked away for a couple of hours. Now I just looked at the Finished files and found that they exported at "2720x1530" Resolution. There isn't even a 2.7K Preset, AND that isn't even really 2.7K, so what the heck happened here? I just wasted about 2.5 Hours of Transcode time that I have to do all over again, whe
I need to encode a music file from itunes to a workable format to use in audition. How do I use encoder to do so? Can I remove vocals in audition?
I use Encoder exclusively for compressing multiple clips/sequences at a time directly from Premiere. But when you queue multiple clips from Premiere rather than importing them directly into Encoder, it ignores the default output destination and sends them to whatever folder Premiere last exported a single clip to (a very odd default). I can't seem to find any way around this. So if I want to export 20 new sequences to a new folder with today's date, I have to queue them and then go through and change each location individually in Encoder since there is STILL no way to change multiple item destinations at once. I would be content to have them always render to a default outputs folder and then move them manually to the new folder but as it stands I have to go find whichever folder it happens to have rendered them to since it is ignoring the default. Has anyone figured out a workaround for this or is there some setting I'm unaware of?
Hi there! We have a slight problem at work. We rendered some compositions to ProRes 422 HQ last week, and today we opened up the same project to render some more compositions. When the renders was done we realized that the gamma of the new renders seemed off compared to the old ones. When we look at the old renders they are reported as: ProRes 442 HQ HDTV (Rec.709) Y CbCr.And the new renders are reported as: ProRes 442 HQ Rec.709 Gamma 2.4 Y CbCr. Both renders where rendered from the frame After Effects project, using the default ProRes 422 HQ preset in Media Encoder. I and my colleagues have looked through the settings in AE and Media Encoder numerus times, but we can't find any differences between then and now. What we have tried so far:-Render it on different computers(Win 10 x64 Ryzen 1900X RTX 2080 TI, Win10 x64 i7 6800k GTX 1080 TI and a Mac Pro 2016 with latest MacOS.-Render with and without GPU acceleration-Render with and without "Render

I keep getting this export error message when I export on Media Encoder but when I export directly from Premiere Pro everything exports fine"Accelerated Renderer ErrorUnable to produce frame....Around timecode: 00:20:46:14 - 00:20:46:23Error code: -1609629690" Why does it work on Premiere Pro and not Media Encoder? My drivers are updated and I mean if it works on Premiere Pro why wouldn't it work on Media Encoder?

After allowing my PC to update last night, both windows and a few drivers as well, Media Encoder no longer recognises my GTX 1060 as a Hardware Encoder. It's locked to Software. The renderer option still lets me set it to CUDA and after effects still uses the GPU without issue but I can't render through Media Encoder with it. Which breaks several effects if I let it render with CPU only.Just wondering if anyone knows a fix for this or if it will likely just go away when my RTX 2080ti arrives in the next few days. Thanks in advance. And for anyone questioning why I would be upgrading from a 1060 to a 2080ti rather than any other card... I sold my 1080ti to buy it. I've been stuck on a 1060 for a month now. I wasn't exactly expecting a 3 week delay when I ordered one.
Hello all, I wanted to ask if there's a way of defining when a watermark appears. For many projects clients want a watermark for a period of time but not right until the end. Is there a way of defining in and out points? Many thanksSimon
Hi How does one go about exporting with GoPro CineForm codec, but still have the same colors I have in After Effects? Whenever I export the colors are a bit saturated.
I'm trying to use Media Encoder CC 2018 (version12.1.2) to export my AVCHD clips to Pro Res 422 for editing in Premiere. Unfortunately there are no Pro Res presets under Quicktime. I had just updated my Creative Cloud apps to the most updated versions of Media Encoder and Premiere for my system (I'm on an older macbook pro). I also tried selecting CUSTOM, then selecting Pro Res options under VIDEO, but nothing will export. Are there bug/fixes or pro res presets I can download? Thanks!
Dear Adobe, You really need to support BM raw in Premiere, Encoder and AFX. Enclosed is a screengrab from your own website. Thanks,Markus Strömqvist
Hii don't find the possibility to choose the LZW Compression by exporting a Tiff sequence. The files are to Big (Pro frame about 8 MB)Where is it? It is hidden?

Is it possible to edit the time between checks? I think its 30 seconds now. So for instance it could check the watch folder every 5 seconds?Title was edited by: Mod
