Hi,I've noticed that footage files in my Adobe After effects projects (such as a video file) that is included on the composition I send to the AME to render, is locked until I then close AME.I can understand that AME needs to lock the file while it renders. But once the render is complete, this lock should be released. This can be reproduced by creating a new After effects project, adding a composition from footage and choose a video. Render that composition in AME and once it is completed, attempt to rename the video in windows explorer. You can't, not until you close AME.Anyone got any ideas about this? Thanks
I have QuickTime 7.7.9 installed on a Windows 10 Professional x64 machine. Back in the the Media Encoder 2017 version, QuickTime Animation worked just fine. We never witnessed an error or issue.I checked release notes prior to upgrading the systems at work and it specifically stated, "Professional codecs typically found in QuickTime movie files, such as ProRes, DNxHD, and Animation, are not affected by this change."Supposedly Animation and Uncompressed are supposed to be valid options for Export within Media Encoder. However, that does not appear to be the case. With QuickTime selected as the Format, I'm now missing Uncompressed, Animation and DNxHD as options. Where did these options go and why can I no longer utilize them with the QuickTime Format for Export? Despite the release notes claiming otherwise? The following are the only codecs still available on Media Encoder 2018. Our company has progressively departed from MacOSX machines in lieu of more potent, cost effective Windows mach

Hi there!I am using Adobe Media Encoder 12.1.1 with the latest version of Premiere on Windows 10.My PC is:Intel i7-7820X 3.60 GHZRAM 32 GBGPU GTX970For a while now, I am having serious problems rendering multiple files in Adobe Media Encoder. I am getting error messages like these:Schreiben mit Exporter: H.264Schreiben in Datei: \\?\F:\Projekte\0033_Public Eye_Bettel-Aktion\Renderings\Delivery\2018-06-07\Vaude-Technische-Videos-UV-Schutz-DT-DR-01.mp4Dateityp wird geschrieben: H264Um Timecode: 00:00:04:15 - 00:00:05:22Rendering bei Offset: 4,600 SekundenKomponente: H.264 vom Typ ExporterSelektor: 9Fehlercode: -1609629695Sorry for the German error message. This weird in itself, as all my other Adobe apps are installed in English...Rendering directly from Premiere works better, but isn't 100% foolproof neither. The issue seems to occur more often, when I am using the computer for something else (browsing the web, writing emails) while rendering. Could this be RAM related? Any ideas what t
I'm trying to export a video that is 6400x6402 using the HVC codec for a project and it seems I cannot create a custom size in the output settings. When changing the width the height also changes regardless of the -keep aspect radio- setting. Can AME do custom resolutions in this codec?
Hello!I have a problem with AME that I saw many people with, it doesn't start, and doesn't show any error. I tried to remove the file in Common Files, didn't work, tried to execute as administrator, re-install. You will be thanks to help me.
My version of AME 2015.3 became corrupted and I need to re-install to encode from projects in Premiere Pro CC 2015.3. But AME 2015.3 does not appear in the "Other Versions" menu in Creative Cloud. How can I get AME 2015.3 to re-install? Thanks.
Can't seem to post to a different privacy setting other than public. Maybe in my PERSONAL Facebook page i could set as "friends only", but I want to upload to Facebook Pages as draft and then schedule the videos from there. Or is this feature not available yet?
I can use "match source H.264" audio is fine. I've cleared cache and preferences.Any tips?
Hi all. I am trying to create proxies from some .mov files in media encoder and when i drag or import them to my queue it does not register any video file, only the audio track (which is blank anyway)I'm so stuck please help
- Can AME act as a centralized rendering/transcoding server for Premiere Pro and After Effects using multiple GPUs ?- Can multiple AME be run in a VM environment with GPU passthru ?- If the above is possible ,can multiple AME servers be control by a render-manager for job dispatch and prioritizing ?
I want the WAV lines removed. but It's quite tedious to select them one by one
We are using Media Encoder to convert Cineform files to H264. We are seeing intermittent requests return "Rejected". It doesn't happen all of the time, but a very good portion of the time. Here's a sample request:<manifest version="1.0"><SourceFilePath>D:\mypath\6b964325-75cd-40d9-8f5d-c4c60b3816ab.avi</SourceFilePath><DestinationPath>D:\mypath\6b964325-75cd-40d9-8f5d-c4c60b3816ab.mp4</DestinationPath><SourcePresetPath>C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Media Encoder CC 2018\MediaIO\systempresets\4E49434B_48323634\01 - Match Source - High Bitrate.epr</SourcePresetPath></manifest>Here's a sample response:<!DOCTYPE payload><payload version="1.0"><SubmitResult>Rejected</SubmitResult><ServerStatus>Online</ServerStatus><JobStatus>Not Found</JobStatus><JobId>dfe5aa43-3928-4718-bd31-75bcb64805d2</JobId><JobProgress></JobProgress><Details></Details></payload>We are
Adobe Media Encoder CC Version 12.1.2 (Build 69) doesn't launch as a stand alone program. When I try to open the program nothing happens. No error message. Just nothing changes. I can launch AME through Premiere Pro by rendering a project, but wont launch as a stand alone program as I said. I read various forums and people talking about this problem and the only solution that I found which works for me on a PC running WIndows 10 is by going into the C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\SLCache directory and opening up a file called X19zbGNfZmVhdHVyZXNfXw==.slc in Notepad. I then delete the contents of the file, save, and AME will open on the following attempt. The problem is that this solution doesn't work as a one-time, permanent fix. Each time I want to launch AME I have to first go into this file again, delete the contents again, and then save again. I have even tried making the X19zbGNfZmVhdHVyZXNfXw==.slc file "Read Only", but it doesn't help to fix the problem permanen
Hello Everyone,I usually set a large batch of renders before I leave work at night, but every morning for the last week I've been coming in to my computer having crashed part way through the render queue and being completely turned off. It booted up fine, I read the crash reports, and ran several tests showing no consistency in duration before crash or preset use; based on another thread I reverted to the last version of AME (12.1.1 Build 12) yesterday. My machine did not crash last night but it locked up all other applications as well as AME due to lack of memory; freezing the queue after about 7 of 52 renders. Based on several other threads it appears that it is not terminating old PProHeadless processes which eats all of the ram - I'm not sure whether or not this is the culprit, it does look that way (I'm including a screen shot showing the PProHeadless processes on Activity Monitor). It is worth noting: I am able to render when I am active on the computer (ie: actually at my desk). I
I am rendering a project from after effects into AME. Initially i was getting crashes on a certain stock image so i reduced the size by 50% in photoshop, then replaced it. It went through that section but failed at another image. I did the same thing and it went through fine. Then, it started crashing at the start of a 1920x1080 stock footage clip. I only have time warp on the clip. Settings changed are, Speed: 67.00 Vector Detail: 50.00 Smoothing Iterations: 50.00 Block Size: 4. I've used these settings elsewhere in the past and it rendered fine. I tried using an older user to render it out. With the collected files it renders on the newest user (which the crashes occur on), for 2 min and 50 sec and then at the same frame each time it crashes. Rendering on the old user (no crashes), it would take 20 min to get to the same exact frame in the project, but it wouldn't crash. It would go right through where it would fail. I would just render through this but 25 min on a

Hello, I've a problem rendering a 3D bended layer in AME.i try to set my comp in AE in ray-traced or C4D mode and try every option of rendering in AME and here is what i get : here are my settings in AE and AME : and here is my expected result (what i see in AE)Does anyone have a clue for rendering my bended layer in AME ? or i only can to that in AE render queue ?Thanks.C.
[moved post from the After Effects Forum]Hi guys, just having a nightmare here. All started when I had to convert in Adobe Encoder a HVEC encoded Mov (Drone footages...). Encoder asked me to download the HVEC codecs, I hit "ok" and it allowed me to start the encoding. Nice on that!Well, after that... all footages that I have using Prores 444 or ProRes 444xq won't be readable by encoder or, even worst: After Fx.In After Fx I get this pop up message when opening a project containing a ProRes 444 file:"After Effects warning: There is a problem accessing the audio or video data in 1 files since you last saved this project. Reload Footage or Replace Footage as needed.filename.mov"Even more: when creating a new project, and importing a 444 mov, it comes with audio but no video.I've managed a workaround for on the clock demands, like today, but i desperately need some help here. The workaround: managed to export again the footage using 422HQ. Finder preview: ok.FinalCut X: ok.QuickTime Player: o
Everytime I render out a batch of videos in AME, the entire system freezes and I have to do a hard shutdown. I've let it render over night and the next morning it is still frozen. My sequences have dynamic linked After Effects comps in most which seems to make it freeze. I can render other sequences without dynamic links fine.Below are the sequence settings. The source footage is 4k green screen keyed out. If I render the same sequence out at 720p at 8Mbps, it usually doesn't freeze. It does it with both OpenCL and Metal. It does not freeze if I render one video at a time through Premiere which is not feasible when I have to render out 20 some videos at once and then work on another project. Just a time waster. Further below are my computer specs. This same exact setup does not happen on the older 2013 iMac Pro that I used to use. Let me know what other information is needed to help with this problem.AME Version 12.1.2 (Build 69)
why media encoder make white to #FBFBFB while export to gif. that is not good. does any body have any solution?
This is not another "rendering is slow" thread. I'm having an issue getting to settings menu. Whether I'm editing a new project or just dragging clips into AME to convert and upload to social media (using presets), clicking on a preset (not the dropdown menu but the actual preset link) takes anywhere from a minute and forty-five seconds to two minutes for the "Export Settings" screen to pop up. Once it's up I can add in the title and description for the clip and close it. But when I try to open the next one or go back into it to edit I have to wait another 1:45 - 2:00 for the Export settings to open up. In premiere when I press CTRL-M or changing presets using the dropdown menu from the Esport Settings window has a two minute wait, In AME it just takes two minutes to open the export settings screen. After I hit Play in AME It does seem to take about 1 - 2 minutes for AME to begin rendering the first file and then instantly goes onto the next one. They render at the same normal fast spe
Our problem. Is that we use many mpeg2 files in the Premiere project and can not replace / convert them. In the Media Encoder random media offline these files (never in the premiere). If you're exporting from Premiere, then there is no problem. The "import sequences nativley" thing does not work. Delete Media Cache also not working. Run as administrator (Premiere and Encoder) also does not work.Unfortunately, this is a big problem because it takes a lot of time to export from day to day work.Any ideas?AME error log (maybe):Log file created: 2018. 08. 31. 15:17:01------------------------------------------Ticks = 610 <6280> <Wasapi initialization> <5> Time = 0.0165658secondTicks = 985 <6280> <DS> <5> GPUSniffer launching with test mask 254Ticks = 6969 <6280> <AMEApp> <0> Time taken to load MediaCore plugins: 3126.82 milliseconds.Ticks = 7828
