I just installed Media Encoder from the desktop CC program. It installed smoothly, but when I tried to open it, the splash screen flashed for half a second then disappeared. AME then proceeded to crash. I am on a MacBook with High Sierra 10.13.4.
I'm editing .mov in Premiere CC2018 and encoding with Media Encoder CC 2018. I've been getting random periods of black video on my H264 exports.....sometimes video will go black for a few minutes and then come back. Audio in unchanged.....Any idea what could be causing this......thanks, Claude
I'm currently running CC 2018 of both applications. I cannot get my projects to queue into the encoder. Media Encoder opens, but no files show up. And its always showing the queue tab.I am using a Macbook Air 2012. I have already tried uninstalling and re-installing both applications about three times. Nothing changed.I can't drag files into it either. It won't load the compositions. Please help! This just started after I updated! If anything, walk me through how to downgrade both apps to CC 2017?
When I export my Composition from After Effects into Media Encoder it connects to the dynamic server successfully, but then it displays a window that shows ALL THE DIFFERENT LAYERS of my composition from After Effects and each layer is separate as you can see in the screenshot below. The only layer, OUT OF ALL THOSE DIFFERENT LAYERS in the composition that I can click on and select is the underlying video that plays in the background in the composition. My composition is a Lamborghini Car Commercial so the underlying video that plays in the background is a Lamborghini Car driving around. As you can see in the screenshot below, when I select the layer titled "Lamborghini Ad" the accompanying "OK" button lights up so I can click on it but if I select any other layer in the composition that "OK" button is greyed out.THE QUESTION IS: If I select "Lamborghini Ad" and click OK and then export it in H.264 video format or any other video format, will the exported video include all of the effect
First a little about my system and my footage. I have an i7-7700k with a GTX 1050 and 16GB of Ram. The footage that I'm working in is in MKV Format the Codec exactly is (MPEG-H Part2/HEVC H.265). The resolution is 720x480 and the frame rate is 29.970628. It's 20 minutes long. When I put that file into Premiere, playback was very slow/sluggish/non-existent. It was unusable for editing. At first I thought that it was because Premiere doesn't accept MKV so i re-muxed it into MP4. However, the problem persisted and I found out that Premiere does accept MKV after all. Then I did some more research and found out that the most likely culprit for the sluggishness is the fact that the video is encoded in HVEC which is a highly compressed codec. That probably explains why the audio worked perfectly in playback but the video was completely broken. So it seems like I had two options. Transcode the file into h.264 using some converter I found on the internet. Now this "fixes" the problem in so that I c
I believe I know what the problem is, but want to know if there are solutions for it.I have a Canon T3 and shoot footage at 1280x720 29.97 and it encodes as MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 video with mono linear PCM audio in a MOV container. This was importing fine until the latest Media Encoder Update to 12.1.1.(build 12) on macOS 10.11.6 El Capitan.I believe I read something about discontinuing support for either the codec as it might be considered legacy now, or that it is not supported on the OS, as that might be considered legacy now. Either way, it does not import and errors with "source has no importable streams".It looks like they still support mov, but no longer with a H.264 encoding, only H.265, unless on a newer OS, 11.13. Which sounds slightly odd. Is this just to save install space by not having older codecs?File formats supported for import for Media Encoder Could someone tell me if this might be a bug, or rather a discontinued codec and/or wrapper combination?Either way, is there a way
So I downloaded Adobe Media Encoder CC but I am wondering if it comes with a trial. If it does come with a trial can adobe fix it and tell us it has a trial? Does it come with a trial?
Hi!Like the title explains you cannot select the hide from vimeo.com feature on media encoder in a preset publish settings. The reason I would like to do this is to publish a video to a website where it will be encoded without the video being searchable on vimeo.com. Is this a feature that adobe plans to add?any info would be helpful!
Strangely, Media Encoder 2018 does not list Miraizon DNxHD and Prores Codecs under Quicktime anymore. CC 2017 did not have this issue.Annoying that I have to export a master in 2018, and covert it to ProRes on 2017.Why Adobe? Why???
Hi,I am trying to change the work area using the setWorkArea function but I got the following error: TypeError: Bad argument. var fe = app.getFrontend();var curEnc = fe.addDLToBatch(projpath, format, preset, itemGUID, path);curEnc.setWorkArea (startTimeInSecs, endTimeInSecs); What am I doing wrong. Thanks,Galit
I have one comp in After Effects. I have (for the sake of simplicity) ten 4k quicktime files from my 5dMk4 of different lengths with different effects.I want to select each and add them to the render queue and output them at 4k, no audio, h.264 . I can't, because I get a mismatch error, and it wants to resize my 4K to 2000x2000. Internet says the render queue is terrible and send them to AME.I hide all the lines but one. I "export to AME". I select h.264. I click on the preset "Match Bitrate" in the line in the queue, and change the length of the clip to be output to match the length of the clip (again, they are all different lengths). I turn off the audio. I click the filename to give it a unique filename.I think, ok, I'll go back to AE, hide line one, show line two, export that to AME, go back to AME, do all the above steps again. I think I will do this for all the clips, get them ready to go, hit play, and go get a drink. T
Hi there,Is anyone having a problem with sequences exported from Premiere into Media Encoder and will only Encode no more than one sequence at a time, the rest all fail?I have been trying encode a DVD format sequence and a Blu Ray format with Adobe presets, one after another but keep getting the second sequence in the queue fail.I have to close Media Encoder and import it in once again for it to work.I look forward in hearing your comments. Thanks
I am a freelancer using a client's computer. They have CC2018, 12.1.1, Build 10 installed on the system.I added 2 audio effects (Bass and Adaptive Noise Reduction) to the sequence's audio. When I rendered this in Media Encoder, the audio was in the encoded video but the audio effects were not there.I encoded a small portion of the sequence directly from Premiere and then the audio effects were there.I looked for a way to render just the audio in Premiere but don't see how to do that. I realize I could render and replace or send to Audition and encode it but I need to edit multiple hours of meetings and that would take too long. My thinking was this: render audio in Premiere, then check the "Use Previews" box before sending to AME. I would, of course, prefer not to do this step either.Any ideas?
Hi,I've noticed that footage files in my Adobe After effects projects (such as a video file) that is included on the composition I send to the AME to render, is locked until I then close AME.I can understand that AME needs to lock the file while it renders. But once the render is complete, this lock should be released. This can be reproduced by creating a new After effects project, adding a composition from footage and choose a video. Render that composition in AME and once it is completed, attempt to rename the video in windows explorer. You can't, not until you close AME.Anyone got any ideas about this? Thanks
I have QuickTime 7.7.9 installed on a Windows 10 Professional x64 machine. Back in the the Media Encoder 2017 version, QuickTime Animation worked just fine. We never witnessed an error or issue.I checked release notes prior to upgrading the systems at work and it specifically stated, "Professional codecs typically found in QuickTime movie files, such as ProRes, DNxHD, and Animation, are not affected by this change."Supposedly Animation and Uncompressed are supposed to be valid options for Export within Media Encoder. However, that does not appear to be the case. With QuickTime selected as the Format, I'm now missing Uncompressed, Animation and DNxHD as options. Where did these options go and why can I no longer utilize them with the QuickTime Format for Export? Despite the release notes claiming otherwise? The following are the only codecs still available on Media Encoder 2018. Our company has progressively departed from MacOSX machines in lieu of more potent, cost effective Windows mach
Encoder se queda sin responder cuando esta codificando varios videos, por lo regular despues de algunos videos se traba y no avanza con la codificación.
Hi there!I am using Adobe Media Encoder 12.1.1 with the latest version of Premiere on Windows 10.My PC is:Intel i7-7820X 3.60 GHZRAM 32 GBGPU GTX970For a while now, I am having serious problems rendering multiple files in Adobe Media Encoder. I am getting error messages like these:Schreiben mit Exporter: H.264Schreiben in Datei: \\?\F:\Projekte\0033_Public Eye_Bettel-Aktion\Renderings\Delivery\2018-06-07\Vaude-Technische-Videos-UV-Schutz-DT-DR-01.mp4Dateityp wird geschrieben: H264Um Timecode: 00:00:04:15 - 00:00:05:22Rendering bei Offset: 4,600 SekundenKomponente: H.264 vom Typ ExporterSelektor: 9Fehlercode: -1609629695Sorry for the German error message. This weird in itself, as all my other Adobe apps are installed in English...Rendering directly from Premiere works better, but isn't 100% foolproof neither. The issue seems to occur more often, when I am using the computer for something else (browsing the web, writing emails) while rendering. Could this be RAM related? Any ideas what t
I'm trying to export a video that is 6400x6402 using the HVC codec for a project and it seems I cannot create a custom size in the output settings. When changing the width the height also changes regardless of the -keep aspect radio- setting. Can AME do custom resolutions in this codec?
Hello!I have a problem with AME that I saw many people with, it doesn't start, and doesn't show any error. I tried to remove the file in Common Files, didn't work, tried to execute as administrator, re-install. You will be thanks to help me.
My version of AME 2015.3 became corrupted and I need to re-install to encode from projects in Premiere Pro CC 2015.3. But AME 2015.3 does not appear in the "Other Versions" menu in Creative Cloud. How can I get AME 2015.3 to re-install? Thanks.
Can't seem to post to a different privacy setting other than public. Maybe in my PERSONAL Facebook page i could set as "friends only", but I want to upload to Facebook Pages as draft and then schedule the videos from there. Or is this feature not available yet?
I can use "match source H.264" audio is fine. I've cleared cache and preferences.Any tips?
Hi all. I am trying to create proxies from some .mov files in media encoder and when i drag or import them to my queue it does not register any video file, only the audio track (which is blank anyway)I'm so stuck please help
- Can AME act as a centralized rendering/transcoding server for Premiere Pro and After Effects using multiple GPUs ?- Can multiple AME be run in a VM environment with GPU passthru ?- If the above is possible ,can multiple AME servers be control by a render-manager for job dispatch and prioritizing ?
I want the WAV lines removed. but It's quite tedious to select them one by one
