When opening the window to change settings of the codec, I can't change between the tabs for Effects, Audio, Video etc. I also don't see the settings to change the pixel measurements of the video. Usually I could scroll to get to all kind of settings. Now the lower right field of the window is totally frozen. Neither scrolling nor changing tabs works.Media Encoder version 23.4Windows 11 operating system
if i export audio with auto-level some of them export sounding muddy at the start, like a bad timeline playback. The ones affected change. This has happened om varius timelines and after multiple restarts. Latest macbook pro - m2 max.
Hi, I've been rendering my heavy files as .mov from AE and then render it again as h264 .mp4 to save time.ME versions 23.2, 23.2.1, 23.3 and 23.4 have been rendering those videos as 360 and/or VR videos. Even tho my compositions have nothing to do with anything VR and my render settings suggest nothing similiar to a VR or 360 video, ME have been rendering them this way. Videos render correctly when I export them using AE. Problem only occurs when I export .MOV file from AE and Re-Render it in ME. This problem only visible when UA team tries to upload them to Ad managers and when you play the video with VLC player. I'm using an 2021 MB Pro with M1 max silicon. All of my adobe apps are up-to-date. I am expecting a fix for this problem. Everytime when there's a new update for ME, there's a new bug or glitch. That's not how updates supposed to work.

What is going ON with Media encoder changing things!? Previously, it screwed up only Specific letters from a mogrt. Now, it's messing up just a Few clips. This time it's not involving AE at all. And I Think I might have an idea of where the issue is coming from. Premiere has ben automatically enabling the "Auto Tone Map Media" checkbox between versions. Honestly, I don't even know what it does other than screw things up. I tried it when it first came out, and it Seemed like it automatically added the correct LUT, only I think maybe it was doing it as an input lut rather than a creative LUT, even though Premiere's documentation Specifically says NOT to do that because Lumetri works top down, so that means you adjust your colors Before adjusting basic corrections and if the input lut causes something to be under/over exposed, you can't get that information back. So, what's a bug? I have no clue, other than I think it's related to that because I have check the pre
Hi,I experienced this issue last night and figured I messed something up so I am re-rendering everything out now, but the same thing is happening. Essentially, I have about 25 clips in Media Encoder rendering and last night the first clip exports to the saved location with no issues and looked great, but none of the others did (however this time the first and second file are in the processing of being rendered, and Media Encoder says it is finished but in the file location it has not finished). Media Encoder gives each clip the green checkmark saying they are complete, but the files simply don't exist anywhere. I've "searched" the PC to see if I have misplaced them and also followed the output file path that Media Encoder says it's placing them but they just didn't render. I am on Windows 10 Pro and rendering out H.264 files. Thanks for any and all help! I have also attached images that may help explain what is happening. Thanks!
When I run Media Encoder either directly, or via a send to AME from Premiere Pro, the splash screen appears, but the software doesn't run. This seems to be slightly intermittent, it eventually ran yesterday after a few tries but nothing today. I have a few crash files on my desktop which I've attached (ironically, you cannot attach a crash file directly, have added .txt to the end). running on Windows 10 Ent build 19045Media encoder v23.3
Hi I'm finding with the new update of Media Encoder 22.6.1 creating proxies kills my CPU. I'm creating ProRes proxies from Sony FX9 as I usually would. Rushes are 3840 x 2160 Slog3 25fps & 50fps XAVC-I. The storage I'm using is RAID 0 SSDs with a R/W of 6000/mbps, and has 2.28TB of available space. I'm on the latest version of Monterey, and both Premiere and AME are most recent versions. I have a Radeon Vega II, which is selected as the renderer, but the system taxes the CPU really heavily, and the entire systems slows down. I'm now encoding A7S III material and it seems to work fine. Is anyone experiencing an issue similar to this? Thanks Rob
Hello,Long time user of AME but totally confused on how to fix my latest issue broguht on by new applicaiton limitaitons. How do I get captions "embed in output file" in latest version of media encoder? I have a mpeg-2 video export from final cut pro, with CEA 608 captions embed on the file already. When I export as MXF OP1a the captions are greyyed out and and remove them on the export? I use to use AME 2020, as this was the last version that allowed this. This week the 2020 version of app stopped working.Pictures include 2019 versus 2023 version.
my exports keep getting to this point and then nothing happens. I need to turn these projects in please help. large 4k video files for a podcast.
Hola. Cuando proceso con un ajuste de velocidad de bits VBR, pase 2, siempre me aparece el primer frame del vídeo el último de este. Me ha empezado a pasar desde hace poco. Saben si esto es por nuevas actualizaciones?
I have to render out compositions that are using blend modes like "Silhouette Luma" but these are simply not rendered corretly once the comp is exported to media encoder. Using the render list in AE is the only option, but just terrible due to the lack of some needed encoding functionality (eg audio filter for loudness).
Hi, I'm exporting a large batch of interview video clips from Adobe Premier to Adobe Media Coder. I had to add some audio FX to fix the noise issues. No matter what I do, when the A/V clips are exported through Media Encoder, the audio on the final clips is the original audio with no FX. Any ideas?Side note, when I export 1 clip individually from the Premier Project file, it exports fine. It's only when I export through Adobe Media Encoder. - Thanks
I have just updated from Media Encoder 23.2.1 (which worked nicely) to Media Endoder 23.3. As soon as I start ME it crashes. See attached crash report. Any ideas/help?
The Media Encoder v23 is not starting. The splash screen opens but then it disappears and the Media Encoder does not launch. The option to send from Premier Pro to Media Encoder is active but it does not work either(Media Encoder doesn't start).None of the current work around in the community (latest from 2013) are working.I appreciate a more recent guidance. I'm using Windows 11 - 64 bits and 64GB RAM (56 GB allocated to Adobe)
Using Media Encoder to render a batch of videos from Premiere is NOT rending the Knoll Light Factory plugin EVEN WITH the Rosetta option turned on. Premiere will render plugin in it's export option. M1 Mac StudioMonterey 12.6.1ME 23.4Premiere 23.4.0
When I export my file from Premiere Pro to Media Encoder it does not show up in the export window. There is only a message where it used to show up saying "To add a watch folder, click the ADD floder button or drag the folder here from the media browser or desktop"
How do you fix the issue of the Media Encoder saying the file is damaged everytime you install the app after uninstalling it.
I'm working on AME 23.0 (build 57), which I updated to back in February, however all of a sudden on Monday, the Effects tab (where you can add timecode/image overlays and watermarks, etc) has been removed. Where did this go? They're no longer visible on any of the EPR's I've created as presets, either.
Hello,I'm trying to upload a portait video direct from AME to Twitter. The video is 1080(w)x1920(h). I get this error message:"Twitter - The video must be 1920 by 1200 or less, 60 FPS or less, 140 seconds or less and 512MB or less, progressive, mono or stereo AAC audio"I can upload the 1080x1920 direct in Twitter, why is this limit set in AME? Many thanks.
Hello! This happened to me with different versions, but I am currently using version 23.2.1, in Windows 10. I always use Adobe Media Encoder with Adobe After Effects. After rendering some videos, the program shows an error and I have to restart the computer to continue rendering (and then the same thing happens, it exports some videos and it shows an error again). The error says:Export errorError compiling the movie.Processing errorThe processing returned an error. It's very annoying, can someone help me to solve it? Thank you.
Hello everyone! I support a team that produces media for TV broadcast and we use two primary file types. Our broadcast playout and capture format is primarily MXF OP-1a wrapped XDCAM HD (or EX) files with embedded caption data (EIA-608 & 708).We use AME to transcode those broadcast format files to H.264 with sidecar SCC caption files for upload to our on-demand platform. This specific transcode is where AME has been broken for several versions now. I'm trying to determine if the bug that Adobe announced regarding AME verison 15.0 has been resolved yet. This bug kept all caption export options from appearing if your source media had embedded captions. My team is currently stuck on AME version 14.9 because we need this feature and that's the last version that had it working. There is a work around involving exporting from Premiere into AME, but that requires two apps and complicates what was a simple workflow, so not a long term solution. I've tested every major version of A
I have a series of EXR files tagged in the metadata as 60fps, but AME and Premiere both ignore this, and instead import the sequence as the indeterminate frame rate set in preferences, which defaults to 29.97fps. Therefore, if I were to export to another 60fps video format, AME would perform an unnecessary frame rate conversion on the clip.
MEDIA ENCODER trial expired before I got all of Adobe pgms installed. Newest verson. windows 10with all latest updates.
