I'm using Media Encoder CC 2017. Until last night everything was working fine. Now when I render files from a Premiere Project file to a MP4 the file and the progress in the Rendering box completely disappear in the middle of rendering and the queue goes dark and the Renderer says "Not currently encoding"Help?
Yesterday I could transcode GH5 10 bit files to DnX (HQ & HQX). I've been doing this for 2 weeks now waiting for a fix. I believe this was Adobe's suggestion - transcode. Well, after the update I can't even transcode anymore. I've tried it with the same files I shot and successfully transcoded yesterday w/AME. Today transcoding turns them into audio only DnX files. I've deleted the media cache, restarted the computer, etc. I'm using a fairly recent Windows 10 64bit computer with a GTX1080 graphics card.
We are working with a Public Domain video and are enhancing the original enough that the final piece is a derivative. We'd like to embed something in the final encoding that might allow us to prove in the future that the source came from our derivative.Any ideas? software that might help with this??thanks in advancerg
I know this is the Premiere Pro forum however I couldn't find a unique AME board.I am trying to transcode to DNxHD LB 8 bit 1080i files which was or is the equivalent of the previously named DNxHD 45.There is a DNxHD LB 8 bit 1080p preset however AME has grayed out the ability to change from progressive to upper field and for my particular purpose I need upper field.Does anyone have any hints as to how to achieve a DNxHD 45 transcode preset with dominance set to upper field?regardsLee
Dear all,I've been having an error message lately when I'm trying to export my video,The error seems to appear every single time at the same moment, when I have applied a certain effect on the video,I use a GeForce Nvidia GTX 860M and it really doesn't want to export even when I'm trying to change the settings of the video compressionin H264 4K.But the weird thing is that I can export the video when I switch from the GeForce to the onboard graphic card Intel HD 4600...It drives me a bit crasy since I don't know how I can handle this in another way than using the intel HD, the export is very very slow with it.I cleared the Media cache, nested the sequence, copy all in a new one and still have this error message.Any idea ?Thank you very much in advance, hope I can find some answer here.
I want to use Adobe Media Encoder as my all in one media converter, even for audio files. but currently it doesn't have a m4r support, both for import and export? Where can I download this codec? Or if possible, how can I just make this encoding preset, please guide me. This is important to me since I want to convert iPhone ringtones using Adobe only. Also if possible, where could I install more audio codecs. There's an abundance of built in video codecs, but not on audio. Where can I find them? And where can I find more codecs, both for video and audio for AME if I want them? Please reply asap
I have had Premiere CS4 for many years with no problems. Now Adobe Media Encoder has completely stopped working. I twice uninstalled-reinstalled the entire suit with no positive results.

Is there a way to set up an effect preset (or chain of effects presests) in After Effects or Premiere Pro & then batch apply that to a folder full of clips using Media Encoder?
AME has stopped working with an error that says " Not currently encoding " .
We are attempting to render a 4k file to HVEC (H265) on a macbook pro:2.7 GHz Intel Core i7,16 GB 2133 MHz LPDDR3, Radeon Pro 455 2048 MBIntel HD Graphics 530 1536 MBCC 2017Render preset:We have been experimenting with the bitrate but all seem to do the same thing. The results are very poor, green flashes, pixelated and will not play smoothly.Any help would be appreciated.
Edited a video that includes some Thai language as text Titles.Downloaded and installed a specific font that works with Thai, it showed up in my font choices in the Title window of Premiere and everything looked fine until I sent it to queue in AME... Didn't receive any errors, but the export no longer includes original Thai font, those titles have been changed to several rectangular boxes (which seems to be a default character shape when the text is foreign or isn't installed, etc.)Weird that it looks fine in Premiere, AND I can export directly from Premiere without an issue.BUT -- I'm just curious why AME won't recognize it? I assumed they both pull the same font library on my Mac pro...I will eventually need to make several exports and it slows down the work considerably to export directly from Premiere each time.Any thoughts?
I have a video with "Frame Rate" - Constant (MediaInfo). How to make a variable? As in this example:Frame rate mode : VariableFrame rate : 23.976 (23976/1000) FPSMinimum frame rate : 23.974 FPSMaximum frame rate : 90 000.000 FPS
Im trying to convert a video edited in premier into a file format accepted by youtube, however everytime I try the video just has a screen that says "media offline" in multiple languages. Anybody know what's going on?
I read somewhere that one of the exporting options is more powerful than the other. Meaning one option uses all cores of my MacPro and produces better render quality. Is this true? if so which one results in the best render quality.
Hello there,I am using Adobe CC 2017 Software on a Workstation running on Windows 10 and hoping to find help regarding one particularly strange AME CC 2017 issue I am struggling with:I exported my sequence to AME from AE. I imported the Sequence to After Effects from a PP Project (Import -> Premiere Pro Project -> sequence name) which I used to cut the Material and to do Sound Editing & Mastering in Audition and a little in Wavelab. After Effects was used to do Color Correction (SA CF 3) as well as to add a Start- & End-Sequence and Logo embeds. The length of the final film - a recording of a panel discussion - is a little over 1h 54m. The source material is stored on a NAS and accessed via local Network (.mov files recorded on an AJA KiPro). My issue is this:I export H.264 1920x1080 25p, the encoding takes about 15 hours 'til it's done, and while I am watching the final result, with which I am initially rather happy with, I stumble upon a single one of these wonderfully cl
Upon uploading a video to vimeo I got a warning that said the video’s bit rate is only 2637 kbit/s and that the lowest recommended for a 720p H.264 video is 5000 kbit/s.Regardless of what I set the "Target Bitrare" and "Maximum Bitrate" to I couldn't resolve the issue.I don't know if makes a difference but the animation is vector based and it was created in After Effects.Thank youMaha
I have tried exporting video in several formats - all I get is broadcast colors. Is there something I am not doing - never had this issue with previous versions.thanks,\
Hi there, Randomly a couple of weeks ago, my Media Encoder CC 2016 would not open. The error 'Adobe Media Encoder Error' kept popping up (please see attached image).I tried updating the app and reopening it, with no success. I then uninstalled the app and reinstalled it, also with no success. Does anyone have any solutions?I have a late 2015 iMac running on El Capitan 10.11.6 (I know this isn't the most recent OS too...) Thank you for your help!
I have a timeline that is around 30 minutes long, and though i am able to give out h.264 outputs, am unable to eXport pro res or uncompressed 8 bit files.Weirdly the error being shown is off disk full which is NOT the case at all.I tried in both the thunderbolt hard disk and the laptop hard disk too.And I have more than 300 gigs available on the laptop hard disk. The error is coming in both the Media Encoder and also directly from Premiere.I am attaching the screenshot from the Premiere error. The footage is from 5D.
Can you provide a step by step video of how to create closed captions with the Media Coder. Or please fix media encoder so that the captions can work when you select it.I have set the preferences and set captions to open and encode on video, didn't work. Then it is set to preferences but when I click on captions when the video is in the queue, the captions options is not available. Why is that? Then I read on the adobe help if you put set the video output for quick time you can select code captions to encode in video. That didn't work either. The software does not work for video captions. I said well maybe the format is incorrect, The videos were converted to .MP4, so I tried again to get the video to encode on the video, that didn't work. Tried again to get it to work by selecting closed captions that didn't didn't work either. Is there a particular one you have to select. Then I set the closed captioned and it was suppose to create a separate file to
Hi,Please see attached - on the left hand side is the adobe media encoder render using high quality settings, and on the right is the source.I'm trying to achieve a result closer to the source. Could someone help provide me settings to achieve this? Thanks.
Hello,I would like to have a short video play from within Muse-created website. I have an MP4 file ready to use, but it seems I have to convert to OGG and WEBM to allow for older browsers and devices where possible. At first glance, no such conversions are poossible with "ENCODER" I did discover a conversation on a forum dated 2011, but not much help, What is the situation in March 2017 is there an app within CC which can handle such a task please. I would be grateful for your advice. If this is not possible is there a recommended piece of software that will carry out the needed conversions? Many thanksTony Scott
