Dear Adobe :),When I try to render proxy files from 100fps Varicam (P2) .mxf clips, the output is scrambled (see picture). This happens since I've updated to AME version23.0 (build 57) on a Mac Studio with Monterey 12.6.1. Previously (MacPro late 2013, Monterey, previous version of Media Encoder) this worked fine, although it has always messed up the filenames: for example 224MK7QS.MXF becomes L398_C050_221110_J40D_M_224MK7QS.mov. So when you fix the scrambled video bug, please also fix the naming bug! Thanks!
I'm trying to create proxies for high resolution footage in Premiere. When I create the proxies in Premeiere it creates the jobs and sends them over to Media Encoder, but then...nothing happens. Wondering what might be the issue? I'm running Premiere Pro 2023 and Media Enconder 2023 on a Mac OS Monetery. Thanks,Michael

So I just got a Mac Studio M1 Max. Yesterday I was rendering a 90 seconds clip from AE but noticed after just a few frames of rendering that the processors performance meters just dropped from full to very moderate.I retried a few times, but the file just wouldn't export. The issue was resolved by setting AME to run in Rosetta 2. I was rendering with h.264 and the High Quality 4k-preset. Running Monterey. Everything is updated to the latest version according to Creative Cloud.
Hii friends, I'm getting a bug since I updated my Adobe Media Encoder for the new 23.0.1The bug is:Whenever I send a composition from After Effects to adobe media encoder it gets that Glich Beep screen, no matter what codec of configuration, I already tried clicking in few things and nothing happen, I'm not finding a logic way to resolve this bug. I already tried to unistall the newest version and download the previous one but every previous than the 23.0.0 is not connecting the dynamic link, so with the 23.0.0 now has the same problem... PC windows 11, GPU RTX 3090 drivers updated. Can someone help me?
When creating an Encoding preset, not all the installed LUTs, that show in PP, appear in the Lumetri Look / LUT dropdown. Further, I have been unable to import 3rd party Panasonic LUTS using the "Select" option in the dropdown. Apparently, the only compatible LUTs are in a legacy .ITX format? As a result, I am unable to apply a simple V-Log-to-Rec709 LUT to dailies footage that I want to transcode for client use, nor am I able to add such LUTs when creating proxy files. None of the supplied LUTs appear to have been designed as technical LUTs to convert log footage to Rec709.
Hi all, I'm finding Media Encoder 2023 is having an issue where my renders frequently freeze/hang. I'll set up a large queue, let it run, and at some point in the queue it'll just get stuck at a random point in a file and then just hold there for indefinitely. I also have an issue where it'll just sit there forever trying to connect to dynamic link but never start the render. There's a trick folks recommend online, to go into task manager, select After Effects from the background processes and hit "end task." This works to some extent, but not every time and often I'll have to end task multiple times for media encoder to fix itself and continue working. I have done some (though limited) research into my project files itself to see if there's a specific effect or animation happening on the specific frame that's causing media encoder to hang, and I'm fairly certain there's not. I think this is an issue with media encoder itself. One argument in
In Adobe Media Encoder 2023 when encoding audio from 16 channel MOV file to 4 channel WAV, 1st and 3rd audio tracks has audio but 2nd and 4th audio tracks are blank. I encoded the same 16 channel MOV file in Adobe Media Encoder 2022 and WAV file and all tracks 1 through 4 have waveforms. I've been looking for any additional settings in presets for audio WAV Adobe Media Encoder 2023 but couldn't find anything that might be causing this issue. I'm using Windows 10, Lenovo P52s.
If I create a 16x9 workspace in APP, AE or PS with the width set to 400, they all (obviously) set the height to 225. If importing a [for example] 1920x1080 video into ME and lock the "keep 16x9 aspect ratio". Then enter 400 as the width, ME mistakenly translates the height as 224. In fact if you turn of the force aspect ratio link and manually enter 225, it still reverts to 224 when you hit enter. Encoded mp4 also comes out as 400x224 This may not sound like a big deal but at that resolution stretching by a pixel severely softens many elements. Does anyone know why this is happening and how to fix it? All programs are 2023, all px are square. Mac Monterey, Screenshot = ME on left, AE on right

Now all of a sudden the audio is only showing up on the left channel. Nothing has changed on our part except the new version of Media Encoder

Hello, I have a problem opening the application.every time I try to open media encoder it stops and never opens as seen in the image, I wait about 15 or 20 minutes but it never happens. I uninstalled it and downloaded it again but the same thing happens. Please I need to work and I need help.
Yesterday is the first time something like this happened to AME. Whenever I try to export something it says "an error occurred while trying to add the selected project to the batch" As the screenshot below shows. However, Yesterday I kept trying over and over again until it worked perfectly, but today it doesn't want to work no matter what. Does anyone know any information about this?
I hope everyone's having a good week so far! Questions I'm looking to get answered:Is this a bug/technical issue on Adobe's/AME's end?Anyone have a good workaround or some handy tips or tricks to speed things up on a series of simple 1080p 30fps videos? (I'm exporting out as an MP4 at 1080p/30fps, no audio - but if it would be easier to convert to something else and take it into Premiere Pro, let me know!) Does anyone know why this is happening? So, long story short, I'm exporting several videos out of After Effects through AME, 30 videos to be exact. Each video is fairly identical, even on the backend. The videos have the same duration (30 seconds), same size and settings (1080p/30fps), all estimated to be roughly 38MB, they all have the same assets, same layer structure, same effects, etc. Each one is a 3D video, much like those 2D to 3D photo videos where you just mask things out seperately and bring them into AE, and only one of the photos has any animation/effe

Hello! Since an update to media encoder in October, it seems it will no longer render videos. Adobe Premiere renders each file fine, it only occurs when I try to render with media encoder. It begins to render the video but then takes longer and longer until it finally stops responding and never finishes the render. I have tried changing codecs, and I have also tried changing various settings such as "max render". No luck. I have also reinstalled Media encoder. I have not downgraded as a solution yet, although I may need to. I understand that I can, but I don't consider that an actual solution to the issue. It started happening immediately after the 32.0 encoder update. It continues to happen with the 32.0.1 update I installed on 11/8/2022. I am working in Windows 11 Pro Version 22H2 OS Build 22621.755 Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.22636.1000.0

Using media encoder to convert an XAVC 300 4K file to Prores 422 for one of our broadcast requirements and the colour drastically shifts when making prores. The conversion to other formats doesn't have this shift. This format worked 2022 version of media encoder and only started doing this after 2023 update is there a new tick box I am missing or is this just a bug?
Updated Media Composer to v 23.0.1 and it will not render out any of my files. Any help is appreciated. I have restarted multiple times with no luck.
MacOS VenturaExporting an AS-11 from Premiere Pro v23.0 When testing with the AQC from Telestream (Qualify) it reports the following error: Found 1 structural problem(s) with AS-11 UK DPP conformance: - Picture Essence Descriptor item 'Coding Equations' must be [060e2b34.04010101.04010101.02020000] (when present) but was [060e2b34.0401010d.04010101.02020000] The second part of the descriptor is not what it should be. This is, I am told, an issue in the exporter from both PPro and MEnc and reported since at least 2019. It is embedded in the .mxf and cannot be edited externally. As this is a key element of getting programmes to broadcast it is essential that this gets fixed to live up to the 'Pro' part of Premiere's name.
Danke
Hello, I recently updated my After Effects and Media Encoder to v 23.0.1. In my After Effects, when I go to File --> Export --> Add to Adobe Media Encoder Queue, the file doesn't load into the queue. I've tried adding the aep file to the queue in Media Encoder and I've tried to Add to Render Queue instead of add to Adobe Media Encoder Queue. I've tried turning off parallel encoding in Media Encoder and I have tried changing the renderer to Mercury Playback Engine Software Only in Media Encoder. Neither have worked. Any ideas?

After Effects v23.0Media Encoder v23.0Windows 1064GB RamVideo Card: Nvidia GTX 1080In AE I have an animation I'm exporting, it has a wav file. A normal boring 16bit 44.1KHz audio file. I can play it back just fine in AE, I can hear it, and it will even render out fine with out using the Render Queue. Using the exact same settings to render it in Media Encoder and it refuses to output audio. If I look at source settings it refuses to see that any audio exists. It randomly works, having done NOTHING differently. It can be 2pm and ME will render audio, if it's 4pm and a dog barks, it will stop working. I want to use Media Encoder so I can queue work. I've read 1000000 posts about this, none of them appear to have my issue where the source shows no audio. I've also had a tech get into my computer and wipe out everything, reset the universe and it worked fine for 1 day. Then it rained outside and now it doesn't. It would be nice if I didn't have to get a tech to make this work everytime.&nb
