Media Encoder is not working. I can open it frome After Effect, but it says that it can not find my comp. When I drag it inside AME it tries to connect to the project forever. Nothing more happen. I uninstalled the app and installed it again (for AE and AME). Same issues. It's impossible to export anything.
Hello, everyone,I've just update Premiere and Media Encoder to the 2022 versions. When I tried to render an h.264 file, the encoder got to 4 seconds, then just stopped. No error message, just back to "Not currently encoding." The files will render under other containers, just not h.264. Is there something I'm suddenly not doing, or is this an actual bug?
Is there any way to apply a .cube LUT in Me? It seems to only use .itx Thanks 👍/Per
I'm trying to render a project from Adobe After Effects 2022 in Adobe Media Encoder 2022. I have the up-to-date versions on both of them. I put in all of my settings and click the start render button. Suddenly the render stops and all buttons + settings are greyed out. I cannot restart the render, nor change my settings. I have had no luck finding this problem or any solutions on any other forums. I have purchased the legitimate version of Adobe Creative Cloud and I am a little bit new to all of this. This is how AME looks after it stops rendering.
I'm getting errore messages when I try to create a proxy for my file B.Both on AME 2020 and 2022.For file A I managed to create one the first time, but upon trying again it also gives me an error. For shorter Files it does work, but for that specific 4k iPhone .MOV file, it just doesn't want to.I only need a way, so I can edit my 4k files in Premiere smooth.(Already tried to convert in VLC and just add it as a proxy, but the video outsyncs) I just tried to turn "Renderer:" to "Mercury Playback Engine Software Only"and it gives me the following error: - Encoding Time: 00:58:3412/06/2021 10:46:12 PM : Encoding Failed------------------------------------------------------------Unable to import video E:...CameraB.MOVFile contains Bad frames.Unable to import video E:...CameraB.MOVFile contains Bad frames.Unable to import video E:...CameraB.MOVFile contains Bad frames.[Same lines repeating a lot!]Export ErrorError compiling movie.Frame Creation ErrorBad allocation while creating disk
Hello! So This has been going on for a while - where Media Encoder would stop at the very end, or wont start rendering at all. My solution is always to restart my computer, but obviously not ideal! I have tried uninstalling AE & Media Encoder and installing again. Problem still persists. Here's my computer details if that helps:AE 2022 Version 22.0.1 (Build 2)Media Encoder 2022 Version 22 (Build 107)Windows Pro 10, Version 21H2 Device name DESKTOP-GP24DG9Processor AMD Ryzen 5 5600X 6-Core Processor 3.70 GHzInstalled RAM 32.0 GBSystem type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor500-700GB free on C & D Drive. Anyone else experiencing this issue?
Hi,Every time I try to use Media Encoder for exporting longer sequences my computer crashes. I did a full install of my operating system and Adobe products but that did not fix my problems. I create a program that is 30 minutes in length. The only remedy is to export the sequence in 3 separate 10 minute chunks and then re-export the entire 30 minute program. I have a second computer that is having the same problem. I tried exporting directly from Premiere Pro and sending the file to Media Encoder to export. What needs to be done for the exporting to not crash the computer? Before this 2017 update I had problems of Premiere Pro crashing during rendering of the 30 minute sequence. I also had export problems of random audio glitches in the output that were not in the timeline. It was ghost audio of extra parts of the video in random places. There seems to be a lot of exporting issues in the past months. Thanks,JasonSequence settings:1920 x 1080No Fields (Progressive Scan)Audio 48000 HzQuickt
Does anyone have this similar problem? I've updated my media encoder along with After Effects and Premiere Pro to the new version but whenever I render it fails and just gives me the"Error compiling movieExport ErrorError completing render Writing with exporter: H.264Writing to file: \\?E:\Podcast\EP8\01 Talk About Costumes.mp4Writing file type: H264Around timecode: 00:00:0003 - 00:00"00"16Component: H264 of type ExporterSelector: 9Errror code: 3" Even Soft Encoding fails whenever I render with H264, the solution I found was rendering it to other formats like QuickTime but it takes a lot of time and the file size is so big. The only solution I found so far was to revert (AME, After Effects, Premiere Pro) back to 2021 or older versions to render properly.Maybe the RAM or GPU in my laptop is not compatible with the new Adobe Products? I've tried updating all the driver but it's still the same problem. I'm using Xiaomi MI Notebook Pro.
So when i export anything either from ae or even just a normal avi the video becomes really fast, I have an example attached
I've update media encoder to the latest version, but since then, when i try to export from premiere pops up a notification which says that the Adobe Media Encoder is not installed. Both, Premiere and Encoder are installed and updated to the latest version.... Someone have any idea on how to fix this? Thanks
Hello, I wanted to ask about the possible reasons why my computer seems to have a hard time loading anything when Adobe Media Encoder is rendering just a couple 1-3min h.264 1080p files on my computer. The internet is drastically slowed down, and I can't seem to use any other software without enduring significant lagging while AME is rendering videos. The Adobe Media Encoder is using the Mercury Playback Engine Software only, and I've unchecked the "import sequences natively" in the Preferences.
When I try to export compostion with after effects with Adobe media encoder it won't show up in Media encoder. When I drag the comp directly it shows up in media encoder but stuck at "Connecting to project" Screenshot attached. My AE and Media encoder is Latest.I"m using Windows 10.
Hello,i followed all recomendations from the community. unfortunatelly, media endoder is not working for me. i used it in two different computers and the result was the same... nothing rendered from After effects.is it possible to run the previous versions of media endoder and after effects? it was working fine until the update... practically, i cannot render any of my projects. : (any aditional suggestions?thanks
I'm having an issue in which whenever I'm creating proxies off Blackmagic 4-6k footage my adobe media encoder will crash. It might make it through a few clips but will always crash eventually. It'll simply close down completely and quietly, and ask to submit a crash report without freezing the system or anything.I have tried to revert to multiple older versions of Media encoder aswell as Premiere and the latest versions, and this has not solved the issue at all, I have also cleared the cache located in the settings of media encoder, and this has not helped either. Any help would be apprechiated as I'm beginning to run out of solutions.
Hello guys i have a problem,When i try to send a AE comp to AME via > File > Export > Add to AME Queue. AME does open but the comp won't show up in the Render Queue. When i drag and drop the Comp that i want to Render it does show up, but then it stays on "Connecting to project..." when i hit the start button or when i try to change the Render Preset
It doesn't matter what the project is anymore, Media Encoder fails every single time it tries to export something. This is my most recent failure message. It used to work no problem, and I havent changed any of the settings. I just tried uninstalling and reinstalling it and it didn't work. Hello, I'm trying to render an after edffects project on my macbook pro MacBook Pro (16-inch, 2019) 2.3 GHz 8-Core Intel Core i9 16 GB 2667 MHz DDR4 AMD Radeon Pro 5500M 4 GB Intel UHD Graphics 630 1536 MB Using Media Encoder 22.0 build 107 I enabled hardware acceleration (metal) (I don't see opencl as an option) I enabled parallel encoding i left only 3GB for OS (out of the 16GB RAM) For some reason the media encoder seems stuck - it takes CPU but the time to completion is just getting longer and longer I'm using a 3D template from Invento Elemnts This is beyond annoying since I can not meet my deadlines this way. Thanks, Title edited by Mod
Does anyone know what this error means? I was exporting a Character Animator animation and this popped up. I've exported these animations plenty of times. I don't know why this is showing up now.
Guys from AME Team. For Jesus Christ's sake PLEASE fix this problem with connecting to dynamic link server. I have terrible user experience of using AE and AME because of that. I have to spend hours fixing this problem and reading other topics in community, because this problem repeats from time to time. And if you look at the other topics you will see that I'm definetely not alone with this issue. Thank you.
So essentially, at this point I'm finding AME to be completely non-functional in my regular workflow. I send a basic project in AE or Premiere to be exported, and MAYBE a few hours, it will load up in the queue. At that point, I set up the render and it then takes HOURS to encode the project, and once it finally begins to render I'm still looking at hours to render the most basic of animations (2-3 shape layers with no effects ~ 10 seconds). This is ludicrously unacceptable. I'm losing clients and work time due to this. Adobe promised that things would be sped up through AME years ago when it removed the ability to render h.264 from AE, and it has only gotten worse with every new release. Now, its unusable. Stop trying to create new features, and fix the basic functions of essential programs!

When exportimg a file as a Video the following error message appears. I don't know what to do.. I already reset windows and re-installed and tried old versions of Adobe Media Encoder but it didn't help.
I keep getting the message 'File contains bad frames' whenever I import some recent footage. The footage is showing as a red video in premiere. What is the problem?
